The staff were friendly and helpful, the service good. Ordered from the set menu 2 courses for 15.95 -only one of us took the two courses, the other three opting for the £4 supplement choice of the main course. The meal itself was lovely and only one small point in that it could have been a little hotter (plates lujewarm) but overall very enjoyable. Decided too full to have a sweet and opted for coffees to finish. When the bill arrived slightly disappointed that we were charged the full two course price plus coffee AND £4 supplement. We couldn’t complain as it was our choice not to have sweet, but felt it would have been good customer relations if given the coffee free or something off the bill. This would have encouraged us to make a return visit and recommend to others whereas we feel in the circumstances we are unable to.

Food was nice but the waiter was bordering on rude...obviously stressed due to lack of staff. However it was quiet when we arrived and he was a real nippy sweetie!

It was a quiet evening which keot the noise level low and this no doubt also added to the great service and attention.

Had a late lunch with my partner, then stayed in their bar for some drinks afterwards. It was a really nice meal, and inexpensive. Nice cocktails too

Great food, service, atmosphere. Can't fault the restaurant at all. Only downside was the guy at the table behind us was very loud, had obviously had a bit much to drink, and kept talking about his sexual conquests. Not really the best conversations to overhear during dinner. I'll be back, hopefully that guy won't be.

Our starters weren't cooked.so couldn't eat them.the chicken was raw

Visited yesterday for my son's birthday lunch. Service was quick, staff friendly and very helpful. Food was lovely. The lunchtime menu is certainly worth the money. Definitely will be bk again.

We’ve been to Loks several times and the food is always great and the service is excellent. This visit our son who is coeliac came with us for the first time and I have to say I’m impressed with the number of things on the menu they can do gluten free. He said his meal was very tasty and didn’t suffer in that bland way that’s often they case in wheat free food. As always the portions were large and we came away full and happy. We’ll definitely be back as a family.

Food is great, and very good value for money. The restaurant has a nice ambience and the staff are friendly and attentive. Overall I had a great lunch and I would highly recommend this place.

Great menu, lovely restaurant with different areas to sit in to suit all occasions. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We needed to be quick and the service could not have been better.

Great restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Friendly welcoming staff and the food is great too. Very varied menu. Missing the soup and sandwich lunch deal though. 2 course good value for money but too much at lunch time.

Food fabulous, service great - attentive without being annoying but very helpful when ordering from menu or asking questions about menu. Highly recommend it for a great wee night.

Had a lovely dinner, which everyone enjoyed. A varied menu with great prices. Our dishes were well presented and tasted lovely, portion size was great as well. Very good service throughout the meal. Will be back for more.

Our party of four enjoyed Lok's Kitchen yet again. Friendly staff, prompt service, and the food was good, although I had the pork loin which was a bit dry.

Really nice. Great service and very flexible with the menu which is of course suitable for my fussy girlfriend. I recommend highly.. The prices were fair as well and of course there are many mid week specials.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal in Loks last night. Stephen, the waiter, was just so efficient and welcoming as, I must say, are all the staff. Look forward to our return next week.

This was our second visit to Loks within the week.First of all,tremendous value with 50% off Main Courses,and on our first visit all meals (party of 3) were excellent.On our second visit,my salmon dish was delicious however my partner,s meal of scampi and chips,was rather dried up and unusually for Loks,was not very appetising.However the deserts made up for this with the gingerbread cheesecake!To die for!....So this will be a must for us on our next visit,and just to mention the Manager,as always,was very helpful and attentive.

I took my Mum and my Aunt for lunch and we all enjoyed it. The food was very good, the staff friendly and the service excellent. I was impressed with the fact that we had the 50% off main course deal and this did not detract from the service or food (as it can do in other restaurants). We will definitely be back and I would recommend Loks to others.

Meals were nice, and service good. The starters are a bit pricey and dont come under the 50% off deal which is being promoted. For 4 people with starters the bill was still £70 with the discount , so more of a special occasion meal than a drop in for a bite to eat venue.

Went for birthday celebrations, the staff could not have been any more attentive. The food as ever did not dissapoint. 6 clear plates and 6 happy customers

Love this restaurant and would highly recommend. The food is excellent and plenty of choice. Set meal menu is very good value. Service is very good and you’re not rushed. Good atmosphere.
