I had a great meal (sea bass) my friend (chicken schnitzel) less so
Terrible service and food !! Get real with quality, food and service that people expect.!
Food was delicious. Service was excellent: friendly without being obsequious or pushy. Nice ambiance and loved the decor, especially the lighting.
Food was amazing! We almost didn’t want to eat it as it was presented so well. Salad dressing was amazing.
Beautiful service. Beautiful food. Beautiful setting. The best restaurant in Wimbledon Village.
A great meal, good service and ambiance. Would recommend for lunch
Table in passage uncomfortable, food good but no atmosphere and half dead tree in middle of restaurant not great to look at.
Waiting staff were very good but we had higher expectations for the food.
Excellent lunch - even lent me some specs to read the menu!
The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was very friendly
Delicious salad. Lovely bright room. Very friendly staff too. Thanks.
Always an enjoyable place to eat, nice location and food.
The service is very good and the ambience is great, as is the location. Having been there a few times there now needs to be more variety in the menu.
It was our first visit and it was worth it. The ambiance was amazing and the food was beautifully cooked and presented. We look forward to returning.
A very pleasant restaurant with food that is interesting, good quality and a bit different. The only negative was that the area where we were seated towards the back of the restaurant was a little on the cool side and if you weren't warmly dressed that might be an issue. It is a conservatory with a lot of glass, so I suspect it is difficult to heat well.
The food was very good even if the crab risotto was slightly overcooked and only just warm.
Lovely atmosphere and decor. Excellent food, delicious and beautifully presented.
Lovely menu with a choice for everyone. The server was attentive, and was thorough in their checking of ingredients in response to one person’s allergies. An attractive room and great buzz.
Lovely and light. Happy atmosphere. Good value. Who could ask for more?!
This was expensive, but only OK food. The service was very slow, though the waitress very friendly. However, the main problem is the layout, is awful - round tables but you sit on a straight bench to eat (not comfortable), table in the way going to the toilet, tables all squeezed together and the ridiculous tree you have to push past - and waiting staff have to bend under carrying food. Bet the owners have never had to serve food with that set up!
Warm And welcoming with attentive service. Interesting menu where I could have Chosen many dishes! Excellent beetroot and butternut squash gnocchi! A great venue
Great service, good food and good atmosphere ; led but great manager
I had booked so no trouble with a table. Service was slow. Food was delicious.
Attentive staff who were considerate and smiley . . ,
Favourite restaurant in the area. Lovely setting with relaxed vibe. Food is always good and our two waitresses were really friendly.
Great service, good food, but quite chilly, the waitress was kind to say she would turn the heating up.
Having booked a table for two it came as a surprise to them when we arrived and we were placed at a draughty table by the door …they were preoccupied with a large party with imminent arrival. We decided to abandon our proposed lunch as when the delayed overpriced disappointing menus finally arrived, they were nothing like as advertised on the website. Recommend avoiding this venue.
Lovely food. For a Saturday evening slightly lacking in atmosphere and to be honest I thought nigh on £150 for two with no pudding or coffee expensive.
lovely space between tables, not noisy, food pretty good but would expect something a little more amazing for the price
Lovely restaurant and the refurbishment is amazing. Food was delicious.
Far too noisy and cramped. Staff pleasant but need more awareness for 12.5% !! A bit annoying to see my water carafe just put on my table whilst next table had theirs poured as I struggled to take off my jacket. Difficult to catch attention to order coffee. The cod was cooked well but the overcooked chard twisted underneath it was a bit too difficult to cope with! The Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc was very good though, as was the coffee, but I don’t think I’ll be back.
Great service and delicious pizza. All very reasonably priced too. The waitress Bee was really good, spent a little time talking while I waited for friend.
Love this restaurant. Only issue is that we arrived at noon and were hoping to have brunch which was not possible at that time.
Very good service, noisy gaggle of women disturbed the peace. Didnt fancy any of the food choices, had to swap dishes with yson as he didnt like his at all. Well cooked etc just not to our taste. no good pudding choices either. Nice house champagne.
Great food, lovely atmosphere and charming staff! Thank you. 😊
Great visit great vibes, staff amazing and good food will be back
Langoustine Linguine, glass of Chardonnay, beautiful airy dining room & polite, charming, attentive service - what a fabulous lunch - thank you 😊
Love atmosphere and staff. Food is very good and it’s healthy and fresh. We booked so no waiting and recommend booking.
It was ok, a bit cold in there , everyone crammed together at the back of the restaurant despite being more than half empty. The starter beetroot and turnip salad was far to big and had no seasoning at all. Our main was chicken kebab which was much better but again seriously lacking in seasoning. Had to ask for salt and pepper as none on table. Sadly meal was ruined by incredibly badly behaved children climbing up and over seat directly next to.us , screaming , banging of plates , glasses , windows and toys. Not the restaurants fault I know but if we weren't all crammed into the far end of the restaurant the noise wouldn't have been directly next to us. Please note as we left half the restaurant was still empty. It's ok food is ok .I doubt we will return
Noise levels quite high but staff super friendly. Food good.
Second visit to this stylish restaurant was rather disappointing. Great atmosphere but starters of seabass crudo were only so-so. Langoustine linguini for main was very tasty with sweet and succulent langoustines but was very dry with little sign of the bisque. Bavette steak was nicely cooked but not served hot enough. Desserts of walnut and fig frangipane and vegan chocolate pot were both excellent. Overall we were underwhelmed with the quality and refinement for such an expensive meal.
The food was very good. Service a little slow. I would definitely go back again.
Our favourite restaurant in Wimbledon! Been going there for years and it always delivers! Birthday evening for hubby was made very special by awesome staff! Thank you!
My usual Sunday walk stop for a coffee and sit. All the staff and really nice and helpful.
Fantastic lunch - delicious and generous portion. Will definitely return.
The food was delicious. Service was good and very friendly. Good value for a special lunch!
Everything was fine. The service and the food were both good
I love this place. Whether going for breakfast, lunch or dinner, food is always excellent and the menu varies based on seasonal availability. simple, good quality food.
service was slower than normal as they were very busy. Food was excellent apart from the French fries instead of real chips however the home made tartare sauce made up for it.
love this restaurant - go to for ambience, great food, great service in great surroundings
