Fantastic food, lovely staff , would definitely go back there
We requested a table due to hearing problems, and no stairs. Luckily we were going to be seated upstairs in a perfect spot but the table had been given to drinkers. We had to take 2nd best right by the kitchen door. Our waitress was very sympathetic and finally moved us over when the drinkers had gone. The food was very mediocre. Dry escargots, no parsley butter. Risotto was not arborrio rice but long grain with a sauce. Saving grace was the pot au chocolate. Nice wine, accommodating waitress but otherwise disappointing and overpriced for the standard of food.
Not the best visit. The service was slow and unattentive. Food quality not up to par. Bourginon was very watery.
We were a group of six and really enjoyed the whole experience at Le Garrick
A perfect pre-theatre place to go with consistently good food and service.
I forgot how charming this place is. The food was gorgeous- I had the Beef Bourginon, and it was perfect on a cold day! It is a bit crammed but I have to say it’s part of the charm and so glad it’s not a chain where it’s lots of loud music, bright lights, kids running around etc, there are plenty of restaurants like that in Covent Garden for that. Lovely authentic feel. Please never change Le Garrick .
Très bon accueil et belle qualité des plats Belle ambiance
For central London we thought it was excellent value. Good staff Good Atmophere
It was quite decent. Excellent service and great food to eat.
Great venue for authentic French cooking at a reasonable price in a cosy environment.
An ideal restaurant to have a pre theatre meal. Would definitely recommend!
Fantastic time. Great food, great service and the team there were super friendly. Highly recommended.
French classics at a reasonable price in Covent Garden, with professional and charming service. Four of us each had three courses for lunch, and nothing was less than delicious.
Le Garrick made our evening unforgettable. We received excellent service, tasty and well presented food and a decent wine list. We will definitely be back!
charming bistro with affordable prices. You definitely should make a reservation, though. It was full and they were turning away anyone without a reservation
Good welcome , friendly staff, authentic French cuisine, served on a very timely manner
The staff was friendly and accommodating, The wine that the waitress recommended was delicious. The food was very good. I recommend the fondue.
A regular haunt for our family in the West End; running early, no problem. Friendly staff, good food, fairly priced and slightly cramped. Not too much of an issue. We will return soon.
Great lunch. Great atmosphere. Good food. Good wine. Great service. Thank you.
What a fantastic meal and the service was first class
A great place with consistently good food and a quirky atmosphere. Can be noisy when busy (pre-theatre), especially as it is in an enclosed basement. Staff are friendly and efficient. Does manage to be pretty 'French'. Recommended.
Another lovely experience at The Garrick. Great menu, excellent wines at fair prices and lovely staff. We were granted as much time as we wanted as we were meeting up with old friends.
Staff were friendly and had great knowledge/ recommendations on the food and wine. Food was fantastic as always!
Our service was terrible. The restaurant was hot and noisy and the food was below average.
Nice restaurant with nice food and a very nice staff
The food is always good,, well prepared and presented with an efficient and friendly service.
Lovely food and lovely service. What’s more to ask ? Definitely a place to visit and we will be back!
Fantastic food, amazing atmosphere. Never disappoints. The desserts are fabulous too.
Fantastic food and service… highly recommend! ☺️ pre theatre lunch excellent and fantastic price.
I have been to Le Garrick a handful of times and have enjoyed it every time. The service is polite and the Onglet Steak and Chips on the Pre-Theatre menu is to die for!
Lovely food, great wine, and great service! The waiters/waitresses were patient with us as we kept chatting and took ages to choose. Didn't feel rushed in any way. Definitely going back
Great food and service as always, thank you very much
A nice experience, good food and wine. Excellent modules frites, if a little slow in coming.
We had the pre theatre menu. Mushroom pate which was very dry and tasteless. For second coure Moules marinière. The mussels were small, quite a few were dry and over cooked. The soup was a funny grey colour and not very tasty. We will not be returning.
As a French person food is amazing and the waiters are amazing
Good service, great food particularly Cafe Gourmand . Will visit again
Lovely atmosphere with a good French menu. Quality is OK, but not great. Overall value is OK for West End.
Incredible service from Angel - so friendly and attentive without being intrusive. First visit and will definitely go again.
Excellent service. Boeuf Bourgignon very good. Cassoulet a bit on the dry side, could have been more "soupy". Wine ok. Will come back!
Lovely ambience, attentive service, quality food, beautifully cooked and plated.
Loved it! The food was great, the atmosphere and the service as well!
Had a lovely time. Lovely food. Lovely staff. See you again soon.
Lovely long lunch at the Garrick. As usual food and service very good.
Despite receiving an email assuring me that gluten free bread would be available when I asked for it I was told that none was available. The staff had to go out and buy some after I said I was not content with this. At the end of the meal our party of 5 asked for coffees only to be told there was no milk available. The waitress was very apologetic but again we all said how displeased we were with this. She spoke to the manager who then decided to buy some milk. The food was good and our waitress Laura was very friendly and efficient. Our other complaint would be if the management showed their paying customers as much attention as they did to what seemed like a private gathering of friends at the bar our experience would have been so much more enjoyable. Overall, I would recommend the restaurant to others but add a caveat to say do not expect everything to run as efficiently as you would expect.
Nice atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff. Food slightly disappointingly bland
Great food, wine and atmosphere! I had foiegras starter and ribeye main. All was good and staff very friendly.
it was an amazing g them - the perfect anniversary meal!
