Second visit to this restaurant. Food was reasonable price, wine not overly expensive and the service was good. It was a Thursday evening so it was probably only ¼ full and it was quiet.

The food was excellent but the service was slow. We had to ask several times to order drinks - then when we asked for gin and slimline - no slimline. Cocktails from the menu - no cocktails! Apart from that a very pleasant experience

Lovely local business run by Italians. Very attentive and polite waiter. Portions are very big... we had 2 courses in their set menu which was plenty, no one could manage desert! Delicious authentic Italian food.

We had a pre-threatre meal and chose the set menu. Very good value and no complaints with the food which was delicious. Staff are pleasant, friendly and attentive. I am reluctant to say the service was a bit slow but I guess as everything is cooked fresh that is to be expected. Would certainly recommend and would visit again.

We were sat down by 7pm on a Friday night and the restaurant was starting to get busy. We received a warm welcome by the staff who were very polite. I absolutely loved the food; plentiful, well presented and very reasonably priced too. If we're ever back in this part of the world, we'll definitely make a beeline for L'Aroma.

Both of us felt our main course meat tasted 'odd' as if the oil/butter it was cooked or marinated in was going off - waiter said Chef said he never uses butter - no apology. Since we each had a different main course (lamb cutlet and steak) they should not have had the same strong, almost rancid taste. Being hungry we said we'd have pudding instead of replacing the main course. The starter and pudding were nice and the restaurant was clean - toilets spotless. Surprised when the bill arrived that they charged full price for everything - there was no offer to provide a small refund gesture AND they charged for the puddings and coffee. We were offered a Limoncello on the house - but so was everyone else.

This restaurant was recommended to me and it wasn't a disappointment. The quality of the food was excellent and the restaurant staff very friendly. I went with 2 friends and we all found the starters very large and none of us could finish them. The main courses were an average size, we didn't try any of the desserts as we were all too full. I would definitely go to this restaurant again.

A nice little independent Italian restaurant, near the station. Really good food, good friendly service, nice choice on menu. We found the wooden chairs hard and uncomfortable.

We had heard good things about L'aroma from friends and weren't disappointed. The restaurant was relaxed, welcoming and served great food. Great for a family catch up!
