We had a lovely meal - food and wine great- the restaurant has a nice feel to it - the service was good and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back.

Delicious food and wine with very attentive service. Menu has a good range of choices. Can recommend the seafood bisque and the salmon wrapped in plaice.

Absolutely wonderful experience, starting with the friendly welcome, and continuing with the really excellent food, served up in comfortable and characterful suroundings. We enjoyed our lunch there so much that we returned the next evening for dinner!

After a rather slow start, our meal was well worth waiting for. Very delicious and well up to tha standard we have come to expect.

The menu is interesting and prepared with flair and care. The food tastes so good and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and ability to talk through the menu with Nicola. If we lived closer we'd have to visit regularly but next time in Lymington we will definitely enjoy another meal with them .

Lovely meal for my partners 70th birthday. Food exceptional & staff very attentative. Only negative would be the heating. Quite cold & uncomfortable whilst eating

Albeit a very quiet lunchtime seating, we were blessed with attentive staff and very minimal waiting times for all 3 courses. The food itself, well presented, very tasty and all 3 plates (well, 9 as 3 courses!) were left clean. Lovely surroundings with original canvas art on the walls from a local artist. I cannot believe we have not discovered this place before. Stumbled across this restaurant by a complete fluke after seeing their Facebook Page and a changing weekly menu. Have been dying to try this out and so glad we did. All 3 guests left impressed and so worthy of another visit. Great tasting food with friendly staff, cannot go wrong!

What a delicious lunch served in a relaxed and happy atmosphere

Great food great staff service was amazing and food was out this world. Only one down side colder on the inside the out. I have thermals on under a shirt and had shakes it was so cold.

Sadly we were the only two in the restaurant on a Tuesday evening in February so it was a little chilly and lacking in atmosphere - although our hostess was excellent and made us feel very much at home. Food was excellent although it would have been better if the main course plates had been warmed! And the other diners who had booked should be ashamed of themselves for not turning up and not having the common decency to let the restaurant know.

Welcomed with a smile and treated like a valued customer. We have already decided to come here monthly as we want to try everything in the menu as the food was amazing.

The service was very good.Attentive,cheerful and friendly.The food was reasonably priced and tasty,though expected more of a selection in the fish pie. It was afreezing day and we found the restaurant inadequately heated,which spoilt our visit.

Food, service and environment was lovely. Just a pity it was so cold inside - so wear lots of layers - it’s an old building with high ceilings and although there are lots of heaters the heat dissipates very quickly.

We all had the 3 course lunch and the food was absolutely delicious. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Service was impeccable, the owner was lovely and very welcoming.

We had a lovely evening for my Birthday. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We almost felt we were eating at a friends house.
