La Famiglia

They weren't open!! It was booked for a special occasion, we got a baby sitter and a taxi there so we could both enjoy a few drinks. For them not to be open. It took another hour and a half to get a taxi home so we went to the bug for a rubbish dinner and a few drinks.

Excellent food ,service exceptional ,highly recommended in every aspect. Brilliant!

We were a large table of 9 on Wednesday night. The restaurant was surprisingly busy because of the number of walk in's. Despite this we had a little wait for our which was well worth it. As for noise we were making a most of the noise. We will return. *****

We came early mid-week for a family birthday, the service was good & the food was nice. We wanted to visit an independent restaurant that was close to home rather than a pub or chain restaurant. The children thought the pizzas were great, I didn't think the menu was that exciting, but I can't really fault it, it's an Italian serving pasta & pizza! I had calzone but seeing some veal on the menu I would have loved to see veal Milanese! My husband had fillet steak which he enjoyed. We will come again due to the location.

Table booked for 7-30pm all diners there at 7-30pm. Then we waited and waited and waited..... no drinks.....etc (maybe I should of gone and told them everyone was here but thought as others were already there they were watching. Hindsight a great thing ). We were all very hungry. When we did eventually get some food it was very nice. Service was polite and friendly but slow. They were happy to change a main that we were not happy with for something else. Which was great and it arrived quickly. I would book to go here again but would keep in mind the day of the week for maybe a speedier service and any time pressures that my guests might have.

We visited on a Monday lunchtime, at least 12 other diners and lovely warm on cold day. Food very tasty, staff friendly and good atmosphere. Third visit recently.

We chose this restaurant based on previous reviews AND they were correct. A little gem sadly not really helped by its location but once you find it you will surely return.

I cannot fault our first visit at all and already have plans to return. The food was amazing and I savoured every mouthful. My husband and I both had steaks and agreed they were the best we had ever eaten. We shared a bottle of Merlot and that was served at just the right temperature. As for the staff......polite, attentive and amusing. They definitely helped round off a very, very, lovely experience. Will definitely be recommending La Famiglia to our friends. Thank you guys and see you again soon.

We had a fabulous time this evening to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food and service were excellent at this friendly restaurant. We will come again.

Beautifully cooked food with fresh vegetables. Yummy desserts. We loved it. A great asset to the community as they were friendly and helpful. I would like to see a specials board added in the future to give add a greater choice for those who did not want pasta or pizza.

We go to La Famiglia regularly, but this was our frst time dining later on a Saturday evening. The party for someone's 30th birthday all seemed to be having a great time, so the noise level was higher than usual - but not a problem at all. That's what parties are for! As usual, the food, the service and the friendliness of the staff was superb. Our friends also enjoyed their first meal here.

Very attentive and friendly service. My starter had a variant given that there were two menus and one dish was slightly different and I was presented with the wrong one. This was immediately rectified. All courses were superb. We will be very pleased to visit again.
