Superb food and service as always. Can't wait to visit again.
This restaurant never disappoints. Service and food are always good and we regularly eat here before going to the cinema in Crouch End.
Service is fantastic and all the staff are very friendly. The food is excellent and there is a great range of dishes. The meatballs are excellent!
Incredible food, lovely ambiance, warm & friendly staff. Just wonderful
Delicious food, fabulous service and amazing staff. This place is a must if you like tapas.
Excellent food and service. Friendly, efficient and didn't rush us.
The food, staff and atmosphere were all brilliant! Highly recommended!
We often eat in this restaurant and the food is always very good, the staff very friendly and efficient and we always have an enjoyable relaxed meal.
Great authentic Spanish food at this Crouch End institution. Plenty to please non meat eaters and a good wine list.
Really delicious food, great service, lovely atmosphere. We love it!
Good food reasonably priced.good service. However they should vary the menu a little.
As always, excellent food & great service. Accommodating for our little one's pram.
Great 👍 really enjoyed food and ambiance - great night xxx
As always, great food & atmosphere. Service was slightly disappointing at first (had warned we had a pram when booking but table given wasn't the most practical) but improved !
First time customers but will return! Really yummy food with great service, no complaints.
Atmosphere was okay, but the food was way better. Tasty grub and polite staff
Fantastic food and wine with wonderful, friendly service. Highly recommend
Fabulous food. Great service. We have been coming here for 20 years.
Great food, great atmosphere, great wine! Really enjoyed the evening
Great meal and atmosphere , every dish was delicious , hard to stop eating .
Really good food. Wine came after the food though, very slow drinks service. More than 20 minutes waiting for the drinks. Very Authentic Spanish food.
Great food and a fun night at this CE local. Worth walking that tiny bit out to find it as good value too. Staff helpful and friendly
Excellent food and staff; lovely atmosphere. Portions are generous. Particularly like the chick pea and spinach stew. My local tapas restaurant and I'll continue to go....one of my favourites!
I loved La Bota and I'm sorry they've removed a few favourites from the menu but was very pleasantly surprised with Sabor the new layout is more comfortable providing a softer cosier atmosphere will definitely be going back
Sabor is a rebooted La Bota. We used to love La Bota, so were a bit worried it had changed. However, it was a pleasant surprise. A bit more expensive (admittedly, La Bota was quite low budget), but we thought it was worth it. Some old favourites were still on the menu, with some new and imaginative additions. We always stick to the tapas, so can't speak for main courses. We particularly liked the tartare of tuna with avocado cream and sesame seeds. We thought it was sensational. We wanted to order another one, but we'd already eaten the last one available that night. We intend to go again.
Great food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Frequently ate here when called La Bota and pleased that it is basically the same comfortable place but with improved food!
Great food in generous portions and a good selection of wine to go with it. Booked easily and the table was ready when we got there which was useful fro a Sunday night. Nice and handily close to both cinemas in Crouch End.
This was our second visit to La Bota. There has always been a good friendly welcome here and the food and selection is great. It was just unfortunate that we didn't receive all the dishes we ordered. There was some confusion, they gave us the wrong dish and when we advised we hadn't ordered it, it should have been something else with the same main ingredient it somehow removed another dish from our order...as it turned out we had plenty to eat with the 5 dishes between us and didn't need the 6th. We had ordered water but received none. We never ordered olives but were given some, this had happened on a previous visit so we never thought anything of it but there was a £2.50 charge on the bill for it which is even more expensive that they charge for olives, according to their website it should be £1.95! The charge for the Sangria on the bill was higher than the price in the menu, the menu price was £13 something and the charge was £14.50. There were just too many small things that weren't right for us to completely relax and enjoy our evening...I say evening but somehow, and I still don't quite know how, we were in and out in 30 minutes! Sadly just not the relaxing Saturday night meal out we'd been expecting.
Excellent food and good wine in a friendly and relaxed setting
Not great quality unfortunately. Good service, but disappointing food. Very greasy and heavy food, biggest disappointment were the churros. Will not be going back for sure.
Slow service....there were not enough waiting staff. Nice ambience . Patron pepper dish was nasty..... Very salty and bland. Only One male toilet.... Had to wait in a long queue to wee!
The food and service were excellent. This has become one of our favourite local spots. The selection of authentic tapas and wines makes for a great evening. Highly recommended.
Food is exceptional! Really recommend the rabbit dish and the wild boar special. They do a very nice tempranillo which goes nicely with the bread and ali oli dip.
First time at this restaurant. Good atmosphere, really enjoyed the food, reasonably priced. Very convenient for Picturehouse cinema which is a few doors away. Will definitely go back again.
Lovely! The closest to "real" Spanish food I've had recently. Charming atmosphere - friendly staff. My favourites were the prawns and also the baked aubergines. Will definitely be back as perfect pre-cinema meal (Picturehouse about 50 steps away!).
Nice food came out quickly. Service was friendly but could maybe have benefited from one more person serving once it got busy. Overall happy though and will be back.
Amazing local tapas bar. Beautiful seafood and lovely staff. Would definitely recommend this place. Go for the baby octopus, the nicest I have had in London
I really like La Bota, compared to a lot of tapas restaurants in London the portion sizes are pretty decent (try the tortilla!), and so are the prices. An authentic taste of Spain in London.
Great food for the best prices!!Large portions, very delicious!!!Welcome staff!!First tapas bar where staff don't rush you to finish your food and drinks,to take new customers. In general great experience!!Thank you LaBota. We'll definetly come back!!!
Amazing and genuinely Spanish tapas restaurant. They've been going on since 1992 and this proves how reliable they are. The restaurant also offers a good choice of wines and Spanish brandies. Their Chorizo in Wine is amazing.
The food was good, it came quickly, the staff were friendly and helpful and gave suggestions and the atmosphere was good. Lively restaurant. We had booked on a Saturday night but plenty people seemed to be able to walk in and get tables without reservations, although the restaurant was reasonably full.
Incredibly quick service (we could have been in and out in 20 minutes...) and good food. Not bad value and a good atmosphere once it busied up a bit.
Delicious food, great busy atmosphere. The lamb cutlets were particularly good! We also enjoyed some sangria, which was excellent. We have been to la Bota many times and the food and service has always been excellent!
We always enjoy our evenings at La Bota. The food, service and ambience are brilliant. We have been going to La Bota for many years.
The food at last boat was lovely. ..the service was ok but could have been better...overall a nice evening. Would recommend and visit this restaurant again.
Excellent food with great service have been coming to this restaurant for twenty years the new owners have kept to the great service and excellent atmosphere and have also updated the great food.
Great restaurant, excellent food and friendly service. Ordered 5 different dishes for two people, which all arrived very quickly. I would definitely come back again.
Had a great evening with my family the food was great and the staff very polite i definitely going back again thank you very much
Food was delicious we had sardines, black pudding, bread with Serrano ham and tomatos, asparagus and ham croquettes which were very tasty - highly recommended. We were a bit late but luckily the table was still saved for us. Very busy so the service was a little slow but once the order was put in we didn't have to wait too long at all.
Good food - some tapas dishes were excellent. Warm, friendly atmosphere - a bit less personal than on previous visits. Good value for money - recommended.
