Very delicious food. Dauphinoise potato was to die for! Service was also excellent. We also had a hard time deciding the wine from the extensive list, but settled on just the right one. We will be back!

Excellent restaurant. Staff, food and atmosphere are brilliant. Never disappointed. The best place to enjoy a relaxing evening with friends and family. Variety in choice of dishes at an affordable price, beautifully presented, ensures my recommendation to anyone who wants a great time.

High quality and good value food (£27 for two courses), served pretty quickly and well. Good table layouts. Teeters on the brink of some mildly pretentious behaviour towards strangers, then relaxes. Very drinkable house white wine. Kind about bad French.

Disappointing. Restaurant very quiet - was a celebration lunch. Special main hake in Parma ham very salty. Good service but not the best of venues at lunchtime.

The menu offered good choice, the food was very good and well presented with a good selection of wines available. The staff were very friendly and provided very good service.

Booked for my wife's birthday, the food tasted great and at a reasonable price. The restaurant has a warm cosy atmosphere with fantastic service drink prices a little high but worth it.

As always, the service was wonderful, and our orders were taken and aperitifs brought within minutes of arriving. The basic layout of the menu never changes, and a good variety of dishes is on offer. Everything is beautifully cooked, and there is never a problem if insufficient food on our plates, so long as we remember to order vegetables as a side dish. We took friends who had long wanted to sample Reigate's top restaurant, and I know that they weren't disappointed.

The LaBarbe restaurant is a favourite now despite being 14 miles away, the food and presentation is first class. The management are to be congratulated for the standard of their staff who are knowledgable and very pleasant to all customers. We will be back with more friends 😀

We had a lovely dinner with Friends on Friday night - the staff were very attentive, good specials on the menu and great choices to eat.

We had a splendid birthday meal. The menu was interesting so we were definitely spoilt for choice and the champagne was an excellent accompaniment to the food! We particularly like the atmosphere at La Barbe. The interior designer has been very clever dividing the rooms into smaller intimate areas so you never feel crowded by other people. Altogether a first-class venue and a wonderful evening.

Popular and established traditional French restaurant with very attentive staff and beautifully cooked and presented food. On the expensive side but perfect for a special occasion or treat.

Fabulous authentic French food, paired with delicious wine and great service. Can't recommend this place highly enough. And they take Tastecard too! Well worth a visit.

A birthday dinner for an adult granddaughter whose immediate family were overseas. A party of six ranging from 14 to mid eighties had a most convivial evening with perfect food from an exciting menu, beautifully presented and served by a number of delightful and attentive, accommodating staff.

An intimate yet informal restaurant. The duck and creme brief were excellent. Waiters were attentive and overall a lovely meal . I would definitely return.

Our 2nd visit - on Father's Day - and we thought it was even better than the 1st. It was much busier than our first midweek lunch visit, but the layout of the restaurant means that it never feels crowded and it was a lovely atmosphere. The set menu was excellent value for money, bearing in mind the quality of the food. The four of us had one each of the four choices for starters and mains - each was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. There were three takers for the trio of desserts and I tried the vanilla and blackberry vacherin. None of us was disappointed. Another fantastic visit.
