Wonderful service and excellent food. We can’t wait to come back.

It was our first visit to Koryu and we were not disappointed. The menu had something for everyone and the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.

The best place to eat in Colchester . So much care is taken

Very friendly staff food arrived quickly and was very tasty.

I treated my daughter to a meal at this restaurant as she has just obtained distinction in Japanese Taiwanese and oriental studies following a recommendation from a friend. It was lovely and definitely will be going again!

Our first visit (we are not local) and will definitely return when we come to Colchester again. We picked Koryu as they had some lovely Vegan options and it didn't disappoint. The two dishes I ordered we beautifully presented, hot and delicious, thank you so much!!

Our second visit at Koryu and even better than our last. The food is excellent, excellent flavours, fresh and excellent presentation. Service is great and was busier on this visit adding to the atmosphere. Will definitely return soon.

The food and staff were fab. There was no rush for us to eat and the servers allowed you to eat without interruption. The food was so good and very reasonably priced. We'll definitely visit again!

We had an amazing meal here. We asked for help in choosing a traditional Japanese meal, this consists of lots of smallish sharing dishes, served at intervals. We were so glad we did. The food was delicious, beautifully prepared and presented. Thank you 🙏

Food was brilliant, tasted really fresh and portion sizes were very generous. Was a Monday night so the restaurant was very quiet, but still a nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Will certainly be back to try some of the other dishes!!
