Many things were missing from the menu and the heater outside didn't work.
Great food great atmosphere. Staff were excellent friendly helpful and attentive. Highly recommend this fabulous restaurant
Cafe Koha is a hidden gem. You don’t go for the food (it’s nice but you don’t get a lot for your money). You go for drinks (pre or post theatre) and great service.
Very pleasant staff, good food at a very reasonable price.
Lovely lunch time party with old work colleagues - always drink too much and have a great laugh. The service is always excellent and understanding - some of us are pretty ancient but service is always courteous and helpful. thank you so much
Clean, very friendly, very pleasant, nice food. Only downside; toilets were clean but tatty and the hand drier not working. Other than that all good - we’ll be back. I hope the hand drier is fixed.
I have been coming here for years now & it’s the ideal pre-theatre spot. Pre-theatre menu is good value. Friendly staff.
Always reliable, good service with a smile. Food good value.
We were a group of 6 having an early dinner after the theatre. The food was delicious, the guys serving us were brilliant and the restaurant had a great, lively atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.
Pre-theatre set meal showed care and freshness of preparation. Service friendly, helpful, couldn't be faulted at all. We will return!
Very tasty food, efficient and friendly service and a good ambience
Food lovely Staff excellent and friendly Good place prior to theatre
Lovely food, and very fast service as well. Well done
We didn’t stay for dinner. The place looked very unsavoury so we left.
Great atmosphere. Good and reasonably priced pre theatre menu. Would come again.
Lovely atmosphere. Menu would benefit from having more small dishes - somewhere between a starter and a main. Starters are very small. mains are very big.
Good casual spot for pre or post theatre! Recommend it.
Recommend by our daughter. We loved the venue. the food was great.
Food lack lustre (steak gristly) and expensive for what it was. Been before ( 3 times) and loved it so was disappointed. Arrived 5.30 - hoping for a pre theatre deal as advertised on website but was disappointed that this was not available. It all ended up being too expensive for an ok but frankly average offer. It was my birthday and we thought it was not worth what it cost and that we’d been ripped off. I am really, really upset and it spoilt what should have been a special evening for me. Mrs and Mr Bates 5.30 pm booking 4 people 29 Jan booking pre theatre.
Welcoming, excellent service and delicious pre theatre menu. Thank you
A gentle and enjoyable start to the evening, many thanks
Great situation at the back of two theatres. Lovely staff.
Loved the food. Chose the Express menu as we were going to the theatre but the food was incredibly slow despite there only being about 9 diners. The waiter was good, it was the kitchen service that was poor. Wouldn't return for a pre theatre meal. It was so slow we thought we might have to leave before the main course, thankfully it arrived but left us with 10 minutes to eat it and settle the bill. Such a shame that a great meal was ruined through a slow kitchen.
Went there for a pre theatre dinner. Very attentive waiters who were tolerant of my partners and my inability to focus on the menu (we were too buy talking). Drinks were served, and the Negroni was quite decent. Food was disappointing: the goats cheese starter was quite good, with vegetables well cooked. However, the scallop starter was salty but otherwise bland. The risotto was undercooked, had a slightly slimy texture to the "wet" part of the dish and was a dull tasting forkful. For the £90 bill (incl 2 glasses of house wine) I would consider this poor value for money.
We all enjoyed our meal immensely, we shall be back!
I enjoyed it. The location is fantastic. The food was good - not exceptional but OK.
Great staff. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great location for an after theatre meal
Hidden gem! Fantastic night look forward to going again soon 😊
Great service and value (pre-theatre dinner), will definitely recommend it
Great as always, good food, excellent service, nice to be there again it’s been too long
Great staff great atmosphere great food great wine great friends
Service standars have really gone down. Unfriendly, slow. Last visit.
Very good catering for the food allergies within our group. We did email in advance and were pleased on arrival to be advised that the chef has already been informed and ready to manage.
Staff friendly but very clueless about menu ! Had to find out what the soup of the day was!😩I would only recommend it for a good location if you are going to the theatre. Food very average I am sorry to say.
Wonderful pre theatre meal. Very friendly efficient staff, food perfect and superb negronis. Friendly atmosphere what’s not to like?
great atmosphere, delicious food and wine, excellent service, highly recommend
Lovely little restaurant. Good ambiance, delicious food/wine and friendly efficient staff. Great value too!
Good food, uncomplicated menu, plentiful staff, good location, quiet enough for easy conversation
Excellent atmosphere, location. good choice on pre theatre and a la carte menus. Staff could not have been nicer>
A nice friendly team of staff, good atmosphere and good food
Excellent food prompt service as usual. Prices reasonable. Pre theatre menu very good value
We very much enjoyed our first visit to the restaurant and will come again!
My favourite restaurant in London! Excellent food and friendly service guaranteed. The best place in the West End for a leisurely lunch, a pre-theatre dinner or just a glass of wine with friends.
Very near theatre land, so an ideal location. Lovely food, waiters and reasonable prices. I’d definitely recommend it
Good food. Friendly and helpful service. Would definitely go again
Great food and service. I'm already planning my next visit!
Good value pre-theatre menu. Very friendly staff. The service was very quick.
Generally very good. A bit overcrowded and loud noise level. Food and service extremely good
Really nice atmosphere, attentive waiters, good wine list and good food.
I've been coming to Cafe Koha for many years. It's a little jewel in an area where great places are tricky to find. The staff are wonderful, the ambience great, the food delicious and the wines spot on. It's in the heart of the theatre district and right by Leicester Square. Highly recommend!
