Good well located venue but not quite what it was in the past
Lovely hidden gem. Always warm and welcoming. And absolutely consistent!
Food was amazing and the service was very good. Very attentive
We had a. Lovely food and really friendly and great service.
I did not know what to expect, but was truly delighted by the service, which struck just the right balance & warmth, & the food itself. It will certainly hebecome our "go to" location on future visits to the London theatre district.
Excellent food and service, can’t ask for more! Thoroughly recommend
Lovely restaurant. The staff obviously care about your dining experience. The food is very good. I had one small thing wrong with my dinner and they gave us free deserts which we weren’t expecting at all! We went for a pre theatre meal and I would definitely go back again!
Food was delicious , service was great , I will tell my friends about it .
Helpful, attentive staff, good food served promptly. An enjoyable pre theatre dinner. Thank you
Great good and service A fab place to eat for pre- theatre lunch
The staff were welcoming the food was excellent. Recommended venue
Service was great, waiter Danni was fab. Food was good. Ox cheeks were disappointing
Delicious food elegantly served. I just found the music a bit too loud for easy conversation
Excellent food a little pricey but that's theatreland I guess
Good food but very expensive for the portion size. Good service.
Thank you for an excellent dining experience last night (Wednesday 2/10). The service was very friendly, attentive and quick and the food was excellent from start to finish and at a good price. I'll have no problem recommending KOHA restaurant to friends and family.
Service was lovely but the food was very over priced for what it was. But perhaps that’s unavoidable for a west end restaurant….
Ideal for a pre-theatre dinner. Good menu options and prompt service.
Dren and Dril’s service was perfect as the food. Thank you.
Only had one course - the duck and it was sensational. Special shout out to the staff who were just the right amount of attentive (this skill is lacking in most restaurants. Will definitely return and highly recommend this to others.
Friendly staff with excellent service. The food is good but nothing surprising. Overall very enjoyable experience
Fabulous service and food quality I would recommend every time
We booked an outside table and our train was 30 mins late arriving in London. I called and they were totally relaxed and we got our table. We had a fabulous waiter and delicious food for lunch. We chose the beetroot carpaccio and squid as starters and we shared the sea bass main course (quite pricey at £35.00) but it was delicious, beautifully cooked albeit a very small portion. Highly recommended.
The food was delicious 😋 and nicely presented. The service was exceptional.
Wonderful food, great wait staff. My daughter loved the ox cheek.
Under refurbishment but we sat outside, shorter menu to usual but still excellent food and service
Very reduced menu, should show this on website. This would be more acceptable if food was special, I had fish and chips, fish was dry and better from my local takeaway. Sorry to leave this review but i was in London with my daughter for a treat and I picked this restaurant because of the good reviews and I wanted it to be special
Really disappointing, the positive reviews and photos on Google are highly misleading
The restaurant was being refurbished.. so no sitting inside, a limited menu .. very disappointing as I’d booked for a birthday celebration
The restaurant was not open! We were seated in a cafe, and the food was not good.
Restaurant under renovation. Menu very limited. Space much more a bar than restaurant
The restaurant is in the course of being refurbished and the available menu is nothing like that advertised on the internet. We found an alternative restaurant.
Menu is not the same one that is on the website. Restaurant is going through renovations and offer a smaller menu with limited selection. . Not impressed by the quality of food. The Staff was very friendly and professional though.
It wasn’t open & we didn’t eat at all … we went downstairs & the menu was not what we went for so walked out
The service was exemplary but the menu was reduced due to renovations. The dishes we had were well prepared and tasty. I would definitely return once the work has been completed.
We have been before and looked forward to it very much. The food was delicious as always and service attentive and friendly as always, even charging a phone for us. The only downside was due to building works so entering was confusing as we had not been informed of this and had to sit downstairs which was dark and did not have the usual lovely atmosphere. Also due the building, the menu was reduced which caused disappointment for my friends who had decided from the one online. We look forward to going again when the upstairs is finished.
Disappointing. Place is being renovated so only downstairs open with v limited menu. No mention on website beforehand.
The restaurant is being refurbished and they weren't really ready to reopen, but they tried! Charming service, but a long wait for the chef to actually arrive and be in the kitchen, and many things had not arrived - bread, for instance. Several customerscame, and then left again without ordering, but some stayed. My guest and I both ordered Caesar salad, which was very nice, and some french fries which are always good here. I am an old customer, and I love the Cafe Koha, but perhaps I will wait for quite a long time, until they get their act together, before I return.
Great food and were very good about nut allergy. Service was great. Really good time
The food was to a good appetising standard: and the service was on point. Would go again.
Delicious food, perfectly cooked and presented. Staff were friendly and professional. Loved it.
Wonderfully friendly and attentive staff. Great vibe with patrons as well as lovely food.
Booked based on recommendations we read online and we weren't disappointed! Received a warm welcome- as if they'd been waiting for us - and attentive service throughout. Food was delicious (truffle and parmesan fries!!) Great little family- run restaurant, quiet, relaxing music, ideal for a pretheatre dinner, especially if you are hoping to spot an actor entering the stage door.
The food was very poor and expensive for what was provided
Friendly and welcoming, well-located with good choice of reasonably priced dishes.
Fantastic food and discreet service. Can’t fault them. Lovely restaurant
What a lovely place for a pre show lunch! We read a recommendation, and booked on that basis and were so happy with our choice. Koha is perfectly situated between the Noel Coward and Wyndham lunch, but our delight with the place was actually much more about it`s charm, individuality, food and service. We were a family group of 3 who were there at the beginning of the lunch service, so it was initially quiet, but the atmosphere built as it got busier. We were looked after beautifully and will come back again when we are next in London. Many thanks Koha team-this was a rare treat for us and you made it all the more special.
waitstaff were wonderful, very helpful with my food allergy. Drink was fantastic, food was lovely - will recommend!
A lovely welcome from the waiters, quick service, delicious food- above average price but tasted wonderful.
Very nice food, good service and ambience - thank you!
