We have been here previously so new we would have a great meal, and as usual we were well pleased. Looked after right from when we entered the restaurant to when we left. Thanks again we will return.
Duo of lamb special was one of the best meals out Iv'e had recently!! Loved it. Would suggest you think of putting it on your main menu.
Enjoyable meal in an excellent pub with plenty of atmosphere
Table beautifully laid for the eight of us. Interesting menus. Care taken to hear what each of us ordered. All arrived together, surprisingly quickly, all delicious. Good coffee followed. We all enjoyed the visit and will come again. Most of us had travelled about 40 miles.
Great food and good service as always. Booked for Sunday lunch and had pleasant meal in this great pub in Ombersley well worth a visit.
I would recommend this venue for dinner, the service was excellent and the food delicious. Only one slightly negative point I did not enjoy the pale ale
Super evening out over dinner with friends ... Kings Arms, Ombersley, you are back on my map! Lovely setting, attentive staff, big choice menu, very enjoyable meal. You will most certainly see us again! Baggie the Sea Bream special for me next time and a pudding all of my own!
Husband and i had a great night out here good food a good wine list a cosy and friendly atmosphere staff very friendly well recommended
Sunday lunch was wonderful, very well presented, well cooked and there was so much. The service was very quick, the staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Food not as good as previous visits, Raw cabbage served with under cooked liver. Waiter didn't seem bothered by our observations on the food. Waited so long for him to come back with sweet menu we decided to just pay and go.
Very good meal. Only quibble is the level of lighting in one or two places. Woul go again but find a different table next time
A birthday meal with ages ranging from 11 to 81. We all had superb food and the fussier ones of our group were catered for. The service was friendly, personal and very jolly. A lovely atmosphere and beautiful pub. Gin choices were fab as was the beer selection. Excellent!
I have been twice recently to The Kings Arms at Ombersley. Once with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. We all had lovely meals and the service was excellent. The 2nd time was with my husband and we took our dog. We were both very impressed with everything. The food is lovely. Even my dog was given a bowl of water and made a fuss off. Will definitely be going back again.
Great venue as always have had an enjoyable evening, good food plus decent selection of wine by the glass which is excellent when driving to be able to choose one glass of something good! Attentive staff.
Excellent food and service. Shame about the noisy children on the next table whose parents were drinking and not eating. This is all I have to say so not sure why there needs to be a minimum of 25 to leave a review!
Main course arrived straight after starters. We asked for a break before dessert but it arrived without a break again. Didn't listen to our request.
A very enjoyable meal in a most pleasant relaxed atmosphere at "The King's Arms." The staff were all very friendly, attentive and helpful. Will definitely be returning.
This is the second time this week we have eaten here, the service food and general ambiance are excellent. The choice for a lunchtime menu was varied all tastes catered for. Had the pork very well cooked, I don't know who the chef is but she/he is very good at preparing and preparation of food especially sauces the mushroom and mustard sauce that accompanied th e pork was absolutely wonderful. Well done everybody would gladly revisit.
We chose to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary at the kings Arms and were impressed with the warm friendly atmosphere. The menu was interesting and varied. The service was very good, the food excellent and was accompanied by good beer and wine. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and we will return.
When you read the menu and it talks of "triple cooked hand cut chips" you expect something a little special. When you get served something that probably came out of a Frozen Farm shop bag that had been barely cooked once and with more black eyes in them than a Bobby Vee song it's a bit disappointing.
Excellent food with great choice, would highly recommend. The Kings Arms has that old historic feel to it and atmosphere. A place not to miss!
Friendly staff and food was excellent and the service was a1! Would come back again and recommend to friends and family keep up the good work
Visited on. Thursday night. Lovely meal - really nicely presented. Steaks were perfectly cooked. Will definitely book again. Service friendly and very efficient. Thank you
This is a lovely restaurant. The staff are very attentive and the food delicious. Bill was a pleasant surprise as it was less than we thought it would be.

We come back time and time again. Always a great meal, atmosphere, excellent service. The perfect local pub. Nothing is too much trouble. We recommend you try.
Met a friend for lunch. The staff were very welcoming. The pub itself was very quaint. The menu was varied and catered for large or small appetites. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and stayed far too long!! I will be returning!

Just returned from an excellent meal From a varied menu with lots of choices and were served very quickly. Table service was first class A most enjoyable meal.
A very pleasant visit to meet friends there. It was a Saturday lunchtime and quite busy but the staff still managed to be cheerful and attentive. The food was of an excellent standard with plenty of choice even for me with my gluten intolerance. Will certainly be returning.
Service was efficient and pleasant , food was tasty and well presented . We were all, nappy with our chosen meals. Environment was pleasant and conducive to conversation with our friends, only criticism was that room was too warm. An enjoyable evening.
The menu was varied and I enjoyed both courses I had. The crispy beef starter was generous, spicy and very tasty. I would certainly recommend the smoked chicken and walnut salad which I chose for my main course. Nice to get a salad which consists of more than lettuce and tomato! The staff were friendly and the service was prompt.
Beautiful, relaxed and homely setting. All staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Menu choice was great, wine menu was even better. Starters were wonderful (Asparagus and Pate') the one main of Risotto was good but the chicken and walnut salad was rather disappointing. This may be just because I'm funny with textures... The dressing was only in the bottom of the bowl so the leaves were dry, there were dry raisins and walnuts scattered about, the chicken didn't seem to be breast, it was cold and almost jelly-covered with grease, I'm afraid I couldn't eat it. This was a first date so the last thing I'm going to do is complain about something that was being kindly brought for me (Awkward!)... so I decided to politely make out that I'd just eaten enough. (I think he knew!) Why didn't you complain? Because I think I'd just picked the wrong main for me. Everything that was coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled truly amazing. Plus I am also aware that someone else would prefer their salad like this. As said the venue was lovely and the staff really did add to what was already a cosy and calm atmosphere.
Lovely food. Everything was piping hot and nicely presented. Great staff who seemed to want us to enjoy ourselves. Nice atmosphere with no obtrusive piped musc.
Ambience good, food exceptional. Not sure I,m keen on dogs in a restaurant, but no-one else seemed to have a problem with it. Service prompt and polite. Friendly without being pushy!
Excellent service and beautifully cooked food. Over many years we have visited this Pub and have always had satisfaction. Would highly recommend it. The pub is also set in a lovely village.
I started my meal with bread, olives oil and balsamic vinegar. The oil was pale and had no flavour, should have been put aside for frying. The bread, a boring soft bread roll The service and attention given by staff was good. However, the food did not match the qualitity and presentation that that be found at a pub in the same village. I had salmon, easy to cook and present. The salmon steak was small and served with risotto and peas. The skin on the salman was wet the taste of the salmon was bland. To finish: crumble and custard, very good. Come on Kings Arms, provide improved qualitity Salmon Steaks and use fresh greens and other vevetables. Remember, you are Worcestershire, a county that grows amazing produce
A friendly atmosphere, a good choice of menu, delicious food and very good service. There are specials available on the day in addition to the main menu. What more could you ask for.
Great country pub. All the character with fantastic food and good service. I would recommend it to all and look forward to returning as soon as possible.
Very cosy restaurant with lovely food. Good choice on menu and good value for money. Good selection of beers. Overall a very pleasant experience .
Lovely Mother's Day lunch. Staff were helpful and flexible for our family regarding adult and children's meals. Food was plentiful with a good selection of vegetables.
Lovely place and lovely staff 10 out of 10 for food quality and portion size is huge not usually something you get these days will be going back asap
A lovely place with very friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent and we didn't have to wait too long for it. We were placed on a table for 2 near the bar, which was ok when we arrived but as it got busier we did feel a bit crowded, but if we had been seated away from the bar the rating would have been a 6. To be fair we were asked if the table was ok when we got there so it may be that we would have been moved if we had said something then. We will definitely go back but I will ask if we can sit elsewhere!
The food (potato and spinach curry for me, chicken for my partner) was ok. However, three pointers: 1. If a customer requests bread rolls, they normally want them to arrive BEFORE the main course 2. Never serve a lamb kofta without a raita (too dry) and 3. If you tell the customer to take their table and wait for you to bring the menu, don't forget to do so!
Great food and drink, would recommend to all who enjoy good food.
A lunchtime visit to meet friends. Pleasant ambience and friendly staff who were happy to cater for my gluten-free requirements. The light lunch menu is not extensive, but we each managed to find something suitable to order. Would certainly consider a return visit.
