Very slow service. Food ordinary. Pork was dry. Unimpressed and forgettable

Food and ambience both very good. We will definitely be back!

The service was very good and the food was of a high standard. My only negative was the value for money of the fish pie, which was a very small portion. We have eaten with you 3 times recently and that was the only dish I have felt was not good value.

Shambles. Served Camembert that was not fit for consumption which they new about and served Duck with Mash which should have been dauphinois because they had run out. But didn’t ask us if we minded. It was only 8 clock. Extremely let down for a valentine night. Avoid pub

The venue is lovely but I do wish the menu could vary a little. We meet about every two months for lunch and have difficulty finding a small healthy meal.

We had a really noisy table next to us who kept showing each other videos on their phones (two elderly couples) but we did not ask to move or tell them to quieten down.

Half Of my plate was full of Broccoli and kale. The meat pie was small and not very tasty. The chips were excellent.Thegreens were Al dente and difficult to cut.The service was good and excellent restaurant atmosphere.However very expensive for a poor meal. Will not book again.

Always have a really lovely meal here and the service is excellent

Booked last minute, but had a nice table. Service was excellent. We both chose steak & really enjoyed our meals. Will certainly go again & will try to take advantage of the steak offer of any 2 steaks ordered before 7pm Monday to Saturday & you get a free bottle of wine.

Disappointed in general! Kale was unchewable and the chicken and ham pie had BEEF gravy poured over it! Certainly not value for money and with expensive drinks l would not recommend.
