Food was excellent and waiters/waitresses were very attentive. My only little gripe we were charged £1 extra for a very small amount of gravy that one of our party requested.

Great, tasty food, lovely location with cute atmosphere. Service was also very helpful and they went to the effort to give me a Birthday pudding for free. I would go back again.

They said “Who ate all the pies”, well if all of them were the same as the type that we were served today then there wouldn’t be any complaints from this happy customer. Just superb, go ahead and try one.

We like this pub mainly because they do the best Sunday roast and we've tried a few. The staff are always friendly, even when they're busy.

Great service and a lovely setting to eat in, the food varies from very good to okay. The steak or chateaubriand is very good but the burger and fish special (pan baked hake) was just okay, the fish being dry and without much flavour, for the price I’d expect better. The pheasant/pigeon (my husband says) was very good. The service is great and the wine menu is to match.

Lovely food, lovely pub. Full fire blazing and were placed next to it, not very comfortable in the heat. Will ask for a table away next time

Fabulous meal to celebrate Lorna's 21st birthday - puddings were delicious and free! The chocolate and salted peanut tart was especially good with so many nuts. The mains were good too!

Always a good meal at the King's Arms with great service too. We don't live locally to the KA any more but are willing to travel the distance for a nice meal. Full marks again.

Enjoyed an excellent Sunday roast. Despite having a party of 30 to cope with in another part of the restaurant the service we received was first class. The meal was superb from starter to sweet. Two of our party were unable to attend at very short notice and the manager was most understanding which was greatly appreciated. This was our first visit and we shall most certainly return. All the staff who dealt with us were most helpful. The whole of the meal was a most relaxing and pleasant experience. Well done!

Went to try Sunday dinner with friends and have to say we were all really disappointed We had 3 roast dinners all f which came with un cooked veg ! And when I say un cooked I mean raw!! The roast potatoes were hard and vile not crispy and fluffy as described and the Yorkshire puddings had been cooked too much and kept warm for at least 2-3 hours. When we told the waitress the only response we had was I’ll tell the cook !!! We went next door a few weeks before to the crown and sands! Different league cheaper too. To some up AVOID

A relaxed, comfortable and sympathetic interior design to a lovely old pub. Great food, good service that was unintrusive and nice to be somewhere that doesn't have piped music. Sound wise I'm guessing because of a mix of low ceilings, furnishings, surrounding sounds were muted which meant we didn't have to strain to hear each other when surrounded by other tables. A definite plus for the hard of hearing!

Comments on an extremely disappointing dining experience at the Kings Arms in Ombersley. We visited this pub following a look at their website. However, the deal that was advertised on the web site was not available. The food was pricey and of only very average quality. The cheapest bottle of wine was expensive and available at a lower price should you take the cheaper deal. In this deal, the choice of food was very limited. The service was below standard and had to wait more than 20 minutes before our dirty plates were taken away. The management's attitude was apologetic but turned to almost anger when the complaint was pursued. Not something you should expect following a genuine complaint. We will not be visiting this pub again or encouraging others to do so.

Most beautiful pub. Lovely staff, excellent service. Had lunch for fathers day. Starter was lovely, main course was disappointed. Was not the standard expected, the content was good, but presentation sadly lacking. Would prefer vegetables separate to help myself . Not piled on plate. Having said that, was still a very lunchtime, and will continue to use the kings arms regularly.

Sunday lunch - roast beef and all the trimmings, vegetables al dente, duck fat roast potatoes, lovely beef and helpful staff. Super ice cream. Just one thing,we hate being referred to as 'guys'! I know everyone uses the word, and I suppose it shows my age lol . Anyway it was a lovely lunch, too much to eat, I might consider the children's roast lunch another time.
