Another great lunch at one of my favourite places. I lobe the chicken tikka masala here and the four course lunch meal is great value for city centre workers

Another weekly catch up at our favourite Indian restaurant in the city centre. As always food really good and Pleasant service always. I had a chicken boobs this time and it was a lovely dish so on list of top choices here.
Another great lunch, I love this restaurant for the variety of the lunchtime menu so if your flexible on days you can find a menu to suit and the price is great for a city centre venue

Another catch up meal with my daughter and we have really enjoyed the food once again. The service is great from the minute you enter till you leave, they even escort you to the door and hold it for you.
Date night special and this is a great place for a quite diner for two or a family gathering. I love the food here and it never disappoints
I love this restaurant at lunch time it’s close to the office and they change the menu every day so each tine you visit you get choices to stop it feeling routine. I love the mixed started and the chicken tikka here and look forward to my next visit already

This has become a weekly meet up place with my daughter. We both love the food here and it’s a very pleasant place to dine music not to loud and the staff are very helpful
Another great lunch just can’t pass this restaurant when it comes to looking for good food at a great lunch time price
Yet another great meal, I love the location right on the Main Street at the west end so handy for shops and yet it’s nice and quite inside
After a day at the festival we needed so decent food before heading hone so this restaurant is perfect for a late supper and it’s at the bus stops so easy to get done food and go. We had a selection of starters as it was late and enjoyed them all. Then we busted stepped outside into a bus home perfect
I live my Friday lunch here it sets you up for the weekend and there is enough choices to stop you getting bored as a frequent diner. That sad I have my usual veg pakora and chicken tikka masala and the price for a four course meal is less than you think
We had a lovely dinner and as it was a wet evening this was a warm and inviting place to be in. The service is great very attentive without hanging over you and the food was delicious
A lunch time hit always enjoy eating here great starts and love the home made chilli sauce. I have enjoyed a tangle of mains so hard to choice one to recommend but there is enough choices to meet most tastes
We had a lovey meal the mixed starters have a good selection and tasty. I love the chicken tikka masala here so that was my choice and my friend tried the sizzling chicken tikka and said it was the best she has had so worth trying next time
Another lovely dinner this is one of my favourite Indian restaurants in the city great food and service and close to all the bus links so easy to get to and relax with a nice drink
This is a place you need to try if your near the west end of the city the menu varied each day but the quality of food and service is always the same and that’s very good some unique dishes but worth trying. Can’t wait for my next visit
I love the restaurant for lunch and dinner on occasion but lunch menu gives great choices any a great price and all fresh made even the polars is not your fun of the mill it is hand made love it
Another great lunch, this is my go to restaurant as it’s very central at the west end and the changing daily menu means you can go on different days and get a change of dish but the real bonus is the price for 4 courses can’t be beat
My friend and I had a lovely meal here , we tried the mixed starters which gives a good selection of starters to try rather than pick and hope and can not fault it as it had something for everyone. We had the chicken tikka sizzler plate which was excellent loads of very tasty chicken so would recommend it
We had really nice dinner this restaurant offer really good Indiana food but not your normal Edinburgh curried more like south of the border. This said it’s in a good way so nice to get something different So recommend it’s worth trying
I love this restaurant for lunch or dinner. I like the fact at lunchtime they vary the menus each day so if you go more then once you have choices. You can tell it’s all fresh made even down to the chilli sauce for your pakora so worth the visit
We had another lovely dinner here again. A bit of a girls night so not heavy on the spicy dishes a chicken tikka and a Korma and both were really good with a good size portion of each dish
We had a lovely dinner here, the service is good and the choice of dishes gives you plenty of options to suit your taste. I tried the sizzling tandoori chicken and would have it again large potion and very tasty.
We enjoyed this restaurant so much we went back again for dinner and it was on par with the last visit. Great food great service and excellent value. The style of cooking is more in keeping with southern Uk style which is a nice change from the run of the mill here.
Had a great lunch with lots to choose from both starters and mains. I liked the fact the give you rice and a nan so you do not need to decide between one or the other. Another plus for me is they have a different selection each day too so always options to try different Main dishes over the week.
Perfect way to end a weekend break we ere on our way home and decided to eat out and my first choice was here. I usually do a lunch from time to time so wanted to have my wife try it too the food was excellent and great service so will try it again for me an evening out in town some time soon
Another great lunch this is with a visit lunch or dinner. I like the fact the change the lunch menu each day so offer plenty of choice for a really good price. The quality is good I really enjoy both the pakora and the chicken tikka which I would recommend both.
Last minute lunch choice as the weather was bit off decided to give myself a lift for the weekend and had to come here as one of my favourites. The lunch deal is excellent value plenty of choice but I went with veg pakora and the chicken masala which is more akin to the style you get around the south of England so not your usual but really good so try it for yourself
On a wet Friday night this was a great find instead of jumping on the bus as all the stops are just outside the front door we went in and had a lovely meal with nice service. The lamb Rohan josh was really tasty and would recommend it
I like this restaurant for a lunch time visit the dishes change each day but a Friday has my favourite main chicken masala and as everything is fresh made you get a great lunch at really good price
It wasn’t open. Would not recommend if you actually want to eat here.
This is a great lunch spot mr u changes each day so plenty of choice at a really good price so highly recommend you try it.
The restaurant I had booked cancelled on me so I went with my other favourite west end which I should make it my first choice given the food is always really tasty not over spiced unless you ask for it. The chicken tikka masala is a great dish here so would recommend both the restaurant and this dish along with a really tasty nan bread.
I live having lunch here the menu changes each day and it’s great value for a four course meal that costs less than you mid market burger places so more reason to go. The food is all fresh made and although it is not your run of the mill standard starters they are much better in my view.
I was in town shopping and decided to try this restraint as there lunch menu looked really good value and it was. I had the pakora to start and they make their own spicy sauce and pakora which was a real surprise. I had a chicken masala and it comes with rice and a half nan so really full on main too. If your in the west end try it for yourself
Second visit to Kasturi in a party of four and the food and service was excellent . This restaurant is a hidden gem right in the town centre .👍
One of my go to restaurants for lunch very central and I like that they change the menus over the week so you get some variety. The starters are hand made so not your usual standard pakoras which is a good thing. Great value for 4 courses what more do you want.
Nice food, staff were attentive, only downfall was the lack of atmosphere. Central location, would visit again if we were in the area . . .
I live going here for lunch partly because the change some dishes each day so it give a bit more choice that the other who have a fixed menu every day. The quality of the food is always really good andas is the pleasant service you get wether you on your own or in a large part. So great food great service and excellent value on price a must try if your in the west end
Another enjoyable lunch tried the Wednesday menu for a change as the dishes change each day so always a good selection to choose from
One of my favourite lunch time restaurants always friendly and the quality is very good each day they mix up the choice so look for your favourite dish and make this you day 😊
A lunchtime visit and enjoyed both pakora starter and my curry would recommend you give this a try next time you want some Indian food as this not your normal style but it is very good
Poor service, inattentive staff and food average. Nearly had to collect our drinks from the bar as the staff seemed me interested in chatting to each other than serving. BTW we were the only people in the restaurant at the time.
I enjoyed the food and the service both made it worth the visit if you go get the chicken tikka which is really tasty and the rice is not your usual fried rice again good.
Popped in a curry and a beer and not disappointed enjoyed the chicken tikka and a cold kingfisher so does not get any better m, service was good so a pleasant evening had
Would recommend this restaurant bang in the middle of the town centre, easy access for taxis and buses, the meal was fantastic and service was first class would definitely go back there.
