This is the second time I’ve eaten here and I wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. The food was fantastic and the service was too! Really friendly and I think reasonably priced. I went with a lamb and potato dish recommended by the waiter and it was really tasty with melt in the mouth meat and potatoes (really yummy). The Dahl (side dish) was fab too and also the naan bread. I could eat it all again now!

Only problem is the service charge that goes to the management and not the staff. All tips have to be handed in and do go to the staff.

We booked on a quiet Wednesday night so the restaurant wasn’t full,the food was beautifully cooked and well presented,I loved the tandoori king prawns.the service was ok but they kept asking,about 5 times in as many minutes was we ready to order even though we told them we wasn’t,felt kind of rushed.the bill for 5 people came to £166 that’s for drinks poppadoms,starters and main which is what you kind of expect to pay in a “posh” curry house but they add a service charge of 10% on tables of 5 or more which they say is compulsory but I didn’t pay this but I did leave a tip.they did get a bit upset over me not paying the service charge which I thought put a downer on what was a nice visit to a nice restaurant serving a decent curry.would I return,yes I would but only if there was 4 or less people on my table

It's disappointing that the web site prices are up to date and there a service charge added to the bill on a table for two, Food and service was very good, salmon tikka excellent

We had the James special. Average at best. Nan breads covered in gee. Cobra 660ml at £6 a pop. Save your money there's much better curry houses in Birmingham.

The restaurant was perfect....friendly and professional. The food was great. Service was spot on....attentive without being overbearing. Would happily return here and certainly recommend it.

Average food, overpriced, very small servings (even of the rice!), automatically added service charge to the bill which is just an ignorant practice. Not a restaurant i would return to unfortunately.

Found this restaurant when on a weekend away in Birmingham. Booked a table online about 2 hours before arriving. Very busy when we arrived but table was ready for us. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Menu was decent with a good selection of dishes. The food was really tasty with good sized portions. Had no complaints with anything. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great ambiance and service. Four of us shared mostly veggie dishes and side dishes; all tasted excellent. We'll go back next time we're in Birmingham!

Nice ambiance with fairly attentive service. They were happy for me to push the table back 10 minutes as the show we were at ran over. My curry (pathia) was very tasty with just the right amount of cheekiness. I'd go back and I guess that's the best treatment I can give.

Excellent food and service. Would gave scored 6 but for the fact there was a short wait for our table on arrival as it needed making up. Also a bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Excellent overall would go back

Great restaurant. Good meal and friendly waiters. Had the balti. Jalfrezi. Madras and tikka and all really good. Good setting. Nice and clean. Only disadvantage was the tip is added to the bill.

I was advised by waiter that it wasn’t find dining like their other restaurant blanc nri when I told him that’s why I had gone there . Having said that food was lovely although food yes not quite as good as at blanc . Service was very good but did feel hurried at times . It was early Saturday evening though and looked busy so they probably had lots of bookings . Overall lovely meal lovely surroundings and reasonably priced

The service was very good. The food was very good and the portions just right. It is a great location near the centre of Birmingham.

Whenever we go to the theatre we have to eat here. The food is absolutely brilliant and the service is excellent and staff are very attentive.

Love this restaurant- the food was fabulous and the restaurant was very smart. It’s also very handy for the Hippodrome. We will definitely be returning.

Food & service both excellent. Staff were made aware that we were on a tight time schedule to go to the theatre and were able to accommodate our request in a polite and courteous way.
