Great place for brunch - nice friendly and casual atmosphere
Really nice food and good service. Would recommend and come back.
sorry they closed. it was my favourite restaurant in Chiswick.
We ordered the veal escalope and it was burnt when it arrived. My husband was sick after prawn linguine. Service was not very good, absolutely would not recommend.
Unfortunately 2 of our party were unable to have what they required as the sea bass had all gone at 6.30pm. This was very disappointing as it was our first visit. However the food was plentiful and the venue has a very pleasant atmosphere. I reduced the gratuity on the grounds that I didn't get what we wanted.
Nice ambiance, nice food, nice drinks, awesome desserts. A bit hot inside but to be fair this summer never happens so not the restaurant’s fault. Also, very convenient to be able to park on the street just outside. Enjoyed our night.
Felt the food service could of been better 3 meals arrive with Luke warm fries Other 3 meals. Steaks arrived. Fries at least five minutes afterwards. After actually asking where they were!!! Especially when 12-5% service charge was added to the bill Food was nice
Poor service in an empty restaurant. Had to send one meal back and refused to pay service charge . Not like the original restaurant I used to frequent?
The food was great and reasonably priced, the staff were extremely helpful and were very attentive (we changed tables for a better outdoor view, asked them to look after our bikes, were basically very diva-like). What a great time. The buttermilk fried chicken burger was a particular winner!
Grey scrambled eggs, average service, all a bit harassed. Disappointing overall. Seems that the restaurant has become run down and food to match. A real shame!
As always amazing service. Steaks were just as steaks must be. Wines selection and very helpful assistance to choose right one was excellent. Cannot wait go back.
Our Christmas Dinner couldn't be better. Whole atmosphere and food was brilliant.
The food there was truly lovely, which surprised me for a gain restaurant. Staff were extremely helpful, especially with my food intolerances, and very patient with my 3!and 5 year olds.
Very friendly staff who are working hard to make your experience as great as possible, lovely atmosphere and very nice food but would appreciate a bit bigger portions
Relaxed vibe. Friendly efficient staff, lovely menu for Sunday brunch or lunch. Would definitely go back. Option to sit outside is nice in good weather.
Loved it. Went early, so it wasn’t too busy. Great servive and friendly staff. Best bacon sammie close to Heathrow airport. Will go back next time again.
this is always a nice place for food but also for drinks. There is a nice cocktail menu. Staff is very friendly too. Definitely recommend this place. Been a few times.
Great food as always. Good services. Great drinks. Very accommodating of our birthday requests and bringing out cake after our brunch. Very much enjoyed our visit.
New Year Dinner. Atmosphere was just stunning. The food was delicious and cocktails perfectly done. The staff was professional and carrying all the time. Also nice background music was lovely. We definitely had a nice new year starting dinner.
It's very nice comfortable restaurant with professional staff always carrying, helpful and friendly... The food is good variety and value. Also branch menu is amazing for a quick lunch or just sit down during day or early evening with the friends and have a cocktail. Definitely recommended.
Food good if a little spartan- nearly £4 for two dried mushrooms! Waited ten minutes for sugar to arrive with coffee. Coffee was by that time cold. Waiter was rude. A 175 ml wine was ordered and a 250 ml was brought. Instead of just exchanging it without question, he blamed my guest and accused her of changing her mind. The table that arrived after us were served before us. Bad form. A whole different experience from that of Soho.
Great food. Great service - the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They don’t rush you either. Love this branch of Jackson & Rye
Food was very good. Service was okay. Took a long time to get our teas after our meal and then when it came the cup was dirty and the milk was wrong (I clearly asked for soya milk). It was busy but not appeared manageable in the restaurant. Overall, I like Jackson & Rye very much for the choice of nice food but have found the service could be a bit friendlier.
Great food, good service, enjoyable ambience, we loved the white rioja - it was easy to book online and as always we enjoyed the music.
Great experience, food was delicious, great service, staff very keeen to please. Made the overall experience positive. Kids were taken along with the journey, what a great experience.
We have just visited the Chiswick restaurant and were extremely disappointed with our experience. We visited the restaurant with our kids. Even before we had an opportunity to do so, we were insulted by the manager of the restaurant when asked to clean up after our kids including cleaning the window. The manager then proceeded to insult us about our kids and parenting in front of everyone. Certainly not a child friendly restaurant and ruined our Sunday morning. We have never experienced such outrageous service anywhere before. If children are not welcome, the restaurant should clearly state this as their policy.
what lovely atmosphere, always enjoy it there. good food and value
Food was amazing-steaks done perfectly! Staff were very friendly with excellent service-very relaxed atmosphere not rushed with orders! Great whiskey and cocktail options-will definitely be back!!
It was great having beeakfast at jackson and rye Chiswick. Perfect service and great food to start the day. Pancakes are a must if you visit.
Great weekend brunch menu and the food was delicious. It gets busy at weekends so I’m glad I had booked a table. Service was really friendly and welcoming. One of our coffees seemed much stronger than the other....
Good food, however I had the sea bream and lentils and it was very small and about 1/3 of the size of the plate it was served on.
Nice ambience, good breakfast menu, good service, comfortable seating, relaxed atmosphere. A good chain that doesn't feel like a chain. Look forward to returning soon.
We had a great Mother's Day brunch at J&R Chiswick. Staff were overly helpful and friendly, food was great as usual and Mothers were treated to a glass of bubbles so everyone was happy!
Lovely décor, friendly staff and great American menu - the garlic prawn linguine was lush but my partner's chicken was bland. The salt and pepper squid starter was amazing and an ample size. Want to try breakfast here
The service was slow and when the food did arrive it came at different times and some of it was stone cold. The waiter was helpful but not that successful at keeping his frustration to himself.
Solid experience, pretty attentive. Just not many offers on unfortunately
Great food at very reasonable price. Lovely staff and a lovely gesture on Mother’s Day -complimentary Prosecco for Mums that was extended to all adults on our table! Was made to feel very special. We will be going back!
Lovely food - and amazingly helpful and cheery staff. great choice for Sunday brunch and service quick without being rushed although they were very busy !
Great service, food and good vipe. Waiting staff immediat moved tables around after we preferred a different seating arrangement. They were very attentive, funny and the food was really great.
Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent! Decent value for money, would definitely recommend and will certainly be planning on returning again in the future.
Friendly service and lovely main courses. Felt a little under pressure to leave and the starters were not that interesting. Have been many times before and would definitely visit again.
Staff was very friendly, food was good. Our waiter was friendly but turned out to be too friendly as complimenting overly to one of our guests and over promoting the food and restaurant “best in the world, rate us on Expedia etc” too much ...
Disappointing - my health salad a little long in quinoa and not much on the other ingredients. Also, I don't like having service added to the bill before I've seen it - it is supposed to be discretionary.
Superb evening. The steaks were exceptional, the service was great, the venue is relaxed and welcoming. Without a doubt this Chiswick eatery hits all the buttons.
A good ambience and lovely food. It was very busy so we had a bit of a wait but waiting staff willing and eager to please. My husband's bread for his starter was rock hard! but they were very apologetic changed it and didn't charge us for his starter. Will go again.
Fantastic starters, very tasty prawn dish, excellent main, lovely ribeye steak and a lovely very berry sundae for dessert. The service at a jackson and rye was excellent, very attentive.
Excellent service. Baby friendly. Very attentive and professional team. Delicious food!! Lovely spot for a long lunch with friends and family, will definitely book again.
We had very good food, the staff was very friendly and nice environment. The restaurant is a very kids friendly one and highly recommended for families.
We came for a family celebration, with lots of noisy kids! No one complained, the kids and adults were treated well and the food was lovely. There was even a free glass of prosecco for the birthday girl!
Staff were very nice but the service was slow. Our food was mediocre - it all felt like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for too long. Chips dry and hard, bacon the same, eggs rubbery on the outskirts... First time there and sorry to say we probably wont be returning.
