Brought to you by the good folks behind Viva L’Italia, Italian Steakhouse pulls no punches in its pursuit of culinary perfection.

As the name might suggest, Italian Steakhouse is a central Windsor spot where lovers of Italian cuisine and a good steak converge. This restaurant specialises in the regional cuisine of Naples, with an obviously carnivorous bent as curated by the family who run the well-know Viva L’Italia restaurant. With a premium location along Thames Street – close to landmarks like the Theatre Royal, Windsor Castle and both Eton Riverside and Windsor Central train stations – Italian Steakhouse is both a local favourite and tourist find.

Steaks, burgers, and grilled dishes given an Italian – and distinctly Neapolitan – twist are the order of the day at Italian Steakhouse in the centre of Windsor. For a bittersweet and broken heart, enter into a culinary tryst with the Italian-style double quarter pounder with chips, a whole grilled chicken with spicy sauce, chips, salad and rice, or go really Italian with the whole chicken Arrabiata. Go on – get the extra spicy topping, too. The awe-inspiring Italian-style T-bone steak weighs in at almost one kilogram raw, while the mixed grill requires at least two people to share it in order to remain legal.
