Warm greeting from Ira and other staff members were lovely at all times. Food and drinks arrived well presented and tasty as expected. We will go again but seemed a bit expensive at about £40 for two but we did indulge ourselves with big main sandwiches a shared soup and shared dessert.

Fantastic food and a lovely response to the fact that it was my mum’s birthday. Our veggie daughter had a great meal and the french onion soup was scrumptious. Highly recommended.

The worlds best kept secret! Ira B’s is a brilliant place, so close to my childhood home but I actually didn’t know it was there. The service was great, very quick and quite hilarious!! Everything was super clean and you could see the food preparation area....always a good sign. Definitely go again.

Fantastic food. But I expected that from the website - what I didn’t expect was the reception, the staff to make such a fuss of my children (letting them choose the music, providing games, etc) I was prepared to pay more following the whole experience! Lovely atmosphere..

We had a birthday lunch for my husband's 60th. The food was excellent - and there were options suitable for vegetarians! The atmosphere was great and Ira lead everybody i singing Happy Birthday.

Great food with a great host. You won't be disappointed. Some of the best Deli sandwiches and sides you will have this side of the NYC.

Ira greeted us with a really warm welcome and as it was our first visit helped guide us to make the most delicious choices from the menu. This came served in an impressive platter. Atmosphere here is really really special and the food was just gorgeous. Would highly recommend to all.

Very nice meal, happy friendly staff. We sat outside in the sunshine on a lovely spring day with our dog who was well looked after too. I would certainly go there again.

Great traditional Jewish food just like my mum makes. Yummy chicken soup with lockshen and kneidlach and chopped liver and gherkin on bagel. Great buzzy atmosphere.

Wonderful find!! Ira and team were very accommodating we were a party of 7 ... took 86 year old mum for Mothers Day. Jolly, buzzing atmosphere, welcoming staff and fab food. Mega salt hit but plenty of Prosecco to wash it down with!

Excellent quality food in a relaxed informal environment. The staff are chatty without being intrusive. Ira herself is bonkers in a lovely way. Four of us went for a quick snack and we're still there at closing time 4+ hours later soaking up the vibe.

Ira B injects her personality into every aspect of this wonderful quirky restaurant. The food is fabulous, the atmosphere terrific and the decor is entertaining. Great value as well. A must visit place to eat.

If you like fresh, quality food with amazing service this is the place for you we love Ira B's! Can't wait to return. It's a two hundred mile round trip but the salt beef is well worth it.
