We have been here several times and always had good food. Last night it was exceptional. We wondered if there was a new chef. Everything was superb. Only slight criticism is stairway to toilet could do with freshening up.

Superb. I have seldom had such quick service. The food was excellent. The naan was very fresh, and very hot. We had a sharer platter and it was huge (beware, we could not finish our main as we were fully. Lots of dishes we had not heard of. We will go back. Thoroughly recommended

Lovely food but placed next to another couple despite empty tables. Then a second couple replaced them. Felt like we were all in a line. Window seats should be used first. We were sat at the back. The lady waitress was nice. Toilets and sticky floor to toilets need some attention. Food was faultless.

Restaurant fills up really quickly, nice meal, not outstanding but would return and no complaints.

Arrived earlier than booking but no problem. Service was brisk to begin with but then found all to be very hospitable. Food arrived with little waiting after ordering and was delicious. Found the blue lighting a bit cold and non welcoming. Clean and swift service. Definitely go again.

Good food, served with efficiency in very pleasant surroundings. We were in a party of 8 and all ate well. The bill came in at £20 each which I thought was decent value.

This was one of the best curries we have had in over 30 years of Indian cuisine experience. Delicious and beautifully spiced - will definitely return when we re-visit the area.

Food warm,not very tasty,ordered madras but tasted like a stew. Won't be returning. Sorry but not a patch on others in the local area of kendal

Really nice atmosphere. Excellent food. Good choice on the menu. Friendly and efficient staff. The restaurant is bright and airy and very comfortable. Definite for a return visit. Good parking nearby.

Very good, flavoursome food, quick (and polite) service and reasonably priced. The fish pakora and chana puri nibbles set us up nicely for our veggie and king prawn mains. Our first time, but definitely not our last.

Enjoyable experience all round. Tasty curries, good service and pleasant ambiance. It was good to see some more unusual dishes as well as the old favourites.

Cold unwelcome room.Felt more like a canteen than restaurant.Black plastic type tables.No tablecloths.Food was very good and staff but overall didn't want to prolong the dining experience.

Warm welcome.Very tasty food served hot.Good experience. Would happily go again. On street parking available after 6pm. They dò take outs too and "doggy bag" pròvided for excess food. Best onion bharjis!

Food was full of great flavours - with subtle spicing. Friendly and efficient service. Highly recommend. A bit expensive, but worth the splurge. I will return.

India restaurant is a must visit establishment. Flavours in the food are fantastic, add this to the presentation of food, the pleasant and attentive staff and a very reasonable pricing policy you have the makings of a very enjoyable evening.
