the restaurant had our booking and it was a nice ambiance. starters were tasty but a bit haphazard how they came. mains came altogether and were tasty
Very good food, great service, good ambience but noise level with children running around was a little over the top
Service wasn't good, when we ordered food instead of bringing all dishes together they brought one dish at a time and had to remind them that we are still waiting for the drink and food which we ordered, also they serve us wrong food, we are vegetarian and they serve us chicken.
Amazing Indo Chinese food, highly recommended for those who never had this cuisine.
I had dinner at Imperial tonight, and it was truly exceptional! The food was amazing, each dish bursting with fresh flavors and beautifully presented. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great Indian meal.
The overall experience with booking and service along with the ambience and service was good. The downside were on couple of dishes was very poor (Pilau Rice and Cheese cake) and not to the standard at all. If that can be improved it will be great.
Good food and good service. Nice atmosphere. Mogo was the only let down.
Amazing foods, great taste, great service, friendly staff, delicious desserts👍
We booked online and arrive 5 mins early, there was nobody at the front desk. After a short wait (which was not a problem) a waitress approached us without a smile and just a short "Hi" as a greeting. I told her we had a reservation and she checked on the computer. She picked up some menu's and without a word she walked towards the dining area. I got the impression she wasn't happy to be there. There was only three other tables occupied in the entire restaurant as it was a Thursday, but they sat us right next to a table of men who talked quite loudly, it would have been more comfortable a few tables away. The poppadoms served were like small Crisps and not the proper big poppadoms I'm used to. My wife wanted to order fish, but there wasn't a fish dish without spices as she prefers mild foods, especially delicate fish. My prawn curry had lots of prawns which made it good value for money, but the sauce was thin like soup. My wife ordered chicken tikka masala which had a good amount of chicken. Overall it was a nice dining experience and ok value for money. But I don't think I would re-visit this restaurant.
Delicious food, lovely vibe and helpful and attentive waiters and waitresses. Thank you.😃
The restaurant was very noisy with us having to shout to hear each other. The service was delayed. However the food was good quality.
Service very good, attentive and polite. Food good although when I pointed out i had a couple of hairs in my curry I was told they weren't, I was probably something from the herbs. Bit disappointed with that comment
The Indo -Chinese food was amazing. Very attentive and quick service !! Will visit again !!
Great place, great food, easy to reserve. Parking is easy.
Samosa chaat was amazing, best I've had. Staff service is incredibly good
Good indo chinese food as experienced by an experienced indo chinese foodie!
Lovely ambience, Good food, good service. We will definitely visit again.
Ambience, staff were nice. Food was very average and not up to standard
Excellent food, amazing choice of dishes and something a bit out of the ordinary.
Delicious food and great service! Good ambience and plenty of space to sit and enjoy
Brilliant food quick service, beautiful restaurant to sit in , but pricey
Delicious dishes, the Samosa Chaat is one of the best I've had. Staff were also very polite and attentive thank you
Visited Imperial Lounge and restaurant for the first time for my husband's birthday. All the staff served us with a smile, so polite and welcoming. Food was amazing. Thank you for a lovely evening
the food is good, but the price is not so good
Amazing Environment, with delicious food. Must try Indo Chinese- authentic dishes.
Always a great example etiem everyone. We had a guest visiting from the US and he himself wanted to come here from last time’s experience. Top marks.
service was good but food was not!! not visited for a while so was looking forward to having our favourites but the taste of the food was not the same, bland and boring and overpriced!!! me and my son also were vomiting that night so definitely didn't enjoy that meal.
Never fail to make me a happy customer portion sizes have gone down but did great as always
The whole group loved the variety of taste in the food always recommend Imperial lounge
Always my go to restaurant never fail me. Love the starters
All good but slow service but they were very busy today

good food and good service. prices could be more reasonable but as a treat it's ok
Food took longer to come weren't much staff around to ask but overall fine
Hungry lunch time went for starters with colleagues as usual was perfect
Perfect service delicious food always accommodating staff and go there at least every week
The restaurant service was not very good at all. We waited about 45 minutes for our starters and we didn’t even get our mail so we left without having any main food.
Rice with our main course we'd ordered came out 30 mins after we'd eaten main course which spoilt the experience, when advised manager he seemed reluctant to offer any compensation, so he agreed for "1" drink on house. Then when bill arrived the rice was included, so we had to mention it all over again. Food was nice though. The outdoor entrance could do with cleaning up, lots of litter around, could put you off eating there.
My son birthday celebration...His favourite dish is Massala Mongo' The table was booked for 7pm and our orders placed at 7.20pm. We asked for the starters and the mains dishes to be served at the same time. The first starter (a chaat) arrived at the table at 8pm. No drinks, had to remind the waiters that we ordered drinks as soon as we arrived at 7.05pm and an hour later we haven' t receinved our drinks. At 8.30pm, part of the starters, rices and nans arrived at the table, no main dishes so asked to speak to the manager and explained how can a customer receive rice and nans with no food? The manager explained that the restaurant is really busy and there was a private party on site. However, the manager went to the kitchen and allocated another member of staff to bring our food as soon as it is ready in the kitchen. We order drinks whilst waiting but by 9pm these were not ready. Had to called the manager again and the drinks came straight away. At 9.30pm, we were still waiting for 'massala mongo' and were told that a further 4 tables were waiting for these but this starter was served to the party as soon as it was cooked. We decided to cancel the 'Mongo'order'. What a disappointment with the kitchen service...the blll was well over £200 and the birthday family meal was ruined ...This is not the first time that we experienced delay in serving the food but we always give another chance to businesses but this will be the last time we go to the Imperial lounge on Purley way'!
Food was awesome, nice ambient, staff and services were mind blowing!!
I been to this place 3 times before . Compare to that the service was better this time.
Recommed as a great place to dine out. Good range of veg/non veg options.
Excellent service Delicious and good variety of food Nice atmosphere
For a party of 8, the round table was great.
One of the best biryani I’ve had..very good service too..
The Samosa chaat and chicken tikka was good. The seekh lamb was tough. The butter chicken was very sweet and the cauliflower in the cauliflower Manchurian tasted off. Not a great experience.
Good food and friendly staff We had a lovely evening!!
Great food, nice ambience friendly staff, authentic Indian and Chinese food
There was hair in our food…we showed it to them and they offered new dish. We almost finished eating so said we don’t want any more. No apologies and no good gesture of giving any discount in bill. It was horrible and I will not go again to this restaurant.
Great indian food especially the chats and stuff is amazing.
