One of the items was burned and over cooked to the point that it was inedible. To their credit management took it off the bill immediately.

Always look forward to our visits to Il Cucciolo. There is a wide ranging choice of dishes from the menu, the food is excellent and well priced for the West End of London and the service is always fast and friendly. Well worth a visit!

The starters and main courses are wonderful - I keep having their spaghetti carbonara and veal parmigiana as they are delicious and my friends enjoyed spaghetti bolognaise, calamari, tri-colour salad and their chips. I usually go with friends 5.30pm on a Saturday after a matinee (I always reserve a table in advance) and it is always packed, with a queue of people who have not booked. As you enter this Italian Restaurant you can smell the yummy food. It is noisy and squashed but we go for the food and are not disappointed. The desserts leave my friends and me underwhelmed but it is the savoury food which will keep us returning as long as Il Cucciolo is there. We leave very satisfied and the people in the queue who have not reserved a table, eagerly move forward. I will go one day during the week lunchtime with friends, but to be on the safe side, will still Reserve a table.

Pleasant food, service could be quicker and offered with more of a smile. At times we felt a little ignored but appreciate that it was very busy. Overall we enjoyed the food and the attention did improve as the meal progressed. Our biggest problem was the time we waited, after initially sitting down to be offered a drink. It was especially hot outside and we were very thirsty.
