Generally good. Nothing extraordinary but good wholesome Italian food as you would expect from an Italian family run business.

We found you online when seeking a good but not too expensive restaurant near the Phoenix theatre. The very good reviews did not disappoint. We loved the cozy place, the food and the service, and have told our friends about it. We came at 5pm and left at 7. Totally enjoyable.

We had pre-theatre dinner at 6pm. The restaurant was packed (always a good sign!). We didn’t mention we had the theatre but were served quickly anyway. Food was yummy. Staff were friendly/fun & a good atmosphere. We were at the theatre in plenty of time. We would certainly return!

Excellent restaurant with welcoming and friendly staff. Food was quick to come out from the kitchen, fresh and delicious. Having been to theatres for many years in this area of London, my only regret is not having found this wonderful restaurant sooner. Would definitely recommend to all our friends and family.

Wonderful to find an authentic and reasonably priced Italian restaurant in this central location. A warm welcome, very good food and house wine. I don't know why they keep a radio station on. If we must have music, how about Neapolitan or Venetian? Other than that, delighted and will definitely return.

Lovely food, good prices, very close to the theatre. Although my friend asked for dairy free and didn't receive it even though the waiter confirmed the meal she queried WAS dairy free? Not good. They were also playing the radio when we arrived, which felt a bit odd. Other than that, all good! I'd recommend.

Excellent food, wine, service, location .... what else could you ask for in a family-run Italian restaurant! I would highly recommend Il Cucciolo to anyone. It's right around the block from Foyles.
