Tremendous food in a pleasant atmosphere with very kind staff. Couldn't be a better introduction to the town then this.

The food was ok not any thing special considering it was £2,11 just for food as we don’t drink, service started off ok but as soon as it got busy it went down hill never returned to see if we needed any more drinks waited a long time for some one to see if we wanted dessert once ordered we waited very long for it to come would not go again to expensive for basic food

Food is always cooked to perfection. Service is great, fast and attentive. We love going there, even if it requires some travelling from where we live.

It was very busy but the staff were very efficient and checked my orders. Food was very well presented and cooked how I wanted it. A recommended restaurant.

Service as always was excellent, staff so attentive Fillet steak amazing, my Ribeye not so good, lots of fat, which I was unable to eat. I did feel the prices had gone up since our last visit. Thank you for my voucher for my birthday, but the bill was still high.

Our waitress was lovely and we had excellent customer service. We decided to try the Chateaubriand which was part of the special Thursday deal and it was delicious. We were seated upstairs which is beautiful with exposed beams, tasteful decor and comfy seats. We will be visiting on another Thursday to try out the giant Tomahawk steak which we saw other guests enjoying.

Heavens kitchen in Alton is a lovely place, not just for a roast but even for the steak we love coming here so we definitely will be back. Staff are all amazing and the waiting time is great. We love heavens kitchen in Alton

Food was ok, a few bits over cooked /left under grill for too long. busy and felt very squashed in but it was mothers day. Had to use the 3 course mothers day menu (very expensive) which was not mentioned when booking. Other tables around us mentioned this aswell. If we wanted to have the lunch menu then we had a shorter time to eat our food and it was very rushed at the end, especially as one of the puddings was forgotten so my son had to eat it quickly and rush out the doors we were over our allocated time slot. When we booked the table there was no mention of time restraints or which menu had to be chosen.

There was nothing to say that there was a Mother’s Day menu. (The normal menu is what we came for) The value for money wasn’t good and the sides were extortionate (and came out cold). The steaks were extremely thin and the service was slower than usual. Generally disappointed today.

Under seasoned steak but cooked as requested, poor wine (Rioja) relative to price, depressing album (Adele wailing) played over and over so loud I could not hold a conversation with my wife. Dessert really good.

Nice ambience and oretty restaurant. Really good burger. Coleslaw a bit bland. Sitting by window was a bit draughty.

Was impeccable service, staff were amazing! Food was cold and waited a very long time.

We opted for a table downstairs as my Dad walks with a stick but the whole of the downstairs area quickly filled up with people standing over us waiting to be seated. Not the dining experience I had hoped for as the crowds did not really ease until we had finished. Felt claustrophobic.

Being Valentines Day, it felt very rushed and the tables were very close together which felt a bit awkward. Food was amazing though. Have been to this restaurant before on a not so busy day amd it was perfect so I know it's normally great.

Disappointing evening. Spent the whole evening freezing cold. Had to remind them to bring part of the main course. No real concern when I expressed how cold I was.

Thors Hammer was amazing! We had a group of 10 and had a fantastic time, Thors Hammer delivered a great centre piece and tasted fantastic. Service was friendly and efficient.

We had an amazing evening at Heavens Kitchen Alton! There were 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 children under 10. We were celebrating my husband turning 40. The children were made to feel so welcome, the staff were unbelievably patient and even involved the children in bringing out the cake. The food was outstanding and I would definitely recommend.

A really nice experience. The staff were knowledgeable and provided great advice about steak selection. The food was cooked to perfection and very tasty.

First visit to this little treasure and it's going to be one of our favourite restaurants. Excellent quality of food and the best Sunday lunch we have ever had out. Highly recommend
