First time eating there. Great place and the food was fantastic

Was impeccable service, staff were amazing! Food was cold and waited a very long time.

We opted for a table downstairs as my Dad walks with a stick but the whole of the downstairs area quickly filled up with people standing over us waiting to be seated. Not the dining experience I had hoped for as the crowds did not really ease until we had finished. Felt claustrophobic.

Staff were great service was on point and to be fair food was as ordered. I ordered a medium rare steak(fillet) and it tasted like

Being Valentines Day, it felt very rushed and the tables were very close together which felt a bit awkward. Food was amazing though. Have been to this restaurant before on a not so busy day amd it was perfect so I know it's normally great.

Disappointing evening. Spent the whole evening freezing cold. Had to remind them to bring part of the main course. No real concern when I expressed how cold I was.

Thors Hammer was amazing! We had a group of 10 and had a fantastic time, Thors Hammer delivered a great centre piece and tasted fantastic. Service was friendly and efficient.

A Very friendly and attentive team. Food is fabulous. You can not beat this restaurant for a perfectly cook steak

We had an amazing evening at Heavens Kitchen Alton! There were 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 children under 10. We were celebrating my husband turning 40. The children were made to feel so welcome, the staff were unbelievably patient and even involved the children in bringing out the cake. The food was outstanding and I would definitely recommend.

A really nice experience. The staff were knowledgeable and provided great advice about steak selection. The food was cooked to perfection and very tasty.

First visit to this little treasure and it's going to be one of our favourite restaurants. Excellent quality of food and the best Sunday lunch we have ever had out. Highly recommend

A wonderful morning enjoying a great breakfast. Perfectly poached eggs with the vegetarian breakfast and a generous portion of bacon and sausage with the breakfast sandwich.

Nothing special and quite overpriced. Option for giving a service charge should be considered.

Expensive, but a perfect Filet Mignon at £36; wine pricey too, but a lovely old building with real ambience, and good, attentive service, and they have black Sambuca!

We had the most amazing meal at Heavens Kitchen Alton to celebrate our recent wedding anniversary. The Chateaubriand was divine, and the staff were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was very busy as it was the week before Christmas but this was not reflected in the quality of the food or the service. We would highly recommend a visit here.

Only thing we didn't like was the added 12.5 service charge, think this should not be included and just let people tip but that's just our opinion. Everything else was very good.

Fantastic food from the starter to the pudding absolutely awesome especially the palate cleanser omg and the main course of the festive menu the turkey wow the gravy wow the sticky toffee pudding sponge was so light and not stodgy all in all definitely a 10/10

Disappointing...though waiting staff were excellent. No crackers( xmas). Cold food. One tiny candle and the steak...definetly to avoid. Cold sauce, cold deserts 3 tiny tomatoes and 3 rocket leaves was the side salad... my guests had uncooked vegetables ....iced profiteroles ..sorry but not happy especially for the price....can't use the excuse of being busy...it wasn't..It will take a lot to get us back eating there..

First time visiting and couldn't have been happier. It was a Saturday night so on the busier side but atmosphere was good, we sat upstairs. Service was great and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back again.

Excellent service and choice of food on the Christmas menu. Everything good.

We booked and pre ordered, we were there for 3 and a half hours. Which was unacceptable, pretty much no point in pre ordering. When we questioned why it was taking so long, we were told it was an 'experience'. Not sure what type of experience he meant but it was not a good one. food was of good standard, however, the service was dire and I wouldn't recommend going for the Christmas meal.

Lovely evening spent in heavens kitchen today, Very welcoming Staff, they made our evening very enjoyable.

We booked for the 5 course Christmas feast. As soon as we got through the door all our needs were attended to. The food was amazing. The service was outstanding. Thank you Heavens kitchen, Alton. 5* all round.

The restaurant was well decorated and clean, but the first rule of any pub/restaurant is that it's got to be warm. Everyone, including us, was sitting in there eating dinner with their coats on. The starter was nice, but the main course was poor and the steak I could do better home, and this issue was added to by the waitress coming to the table to ask what condiments we wanted, walking off, and then spending 20 minutes taking payments from the next table. By the time she got back, I had nearly finished my meal. To pay over £150 to sit in a cold room, with poor food and service is just not acceptable!
