Hawksmoor - Liverpool

Went for lunch for our Wedding Anniversary. We loved everything about our experience. Staff are FAB. Lovely atmosphere too. Food was exceptional. It won't be our last visit.

Overall it was a positive experience apart from the poor quality of my wife's sirloin steak which was dealt with internally.

The food was over priced, over £100 for 2 steaks, chips and a drink

Good and service was lovely, only negative asked to go to bar after 1 hr 40, thought table was for 2 hours, had only just finished desert felt a bit rushed

Had a wonderful time. Staff were attentive. We asked for a different table from the one offered. This was no problem. We were accommodated without any fuss. Fabulous 😀

5 ladies dining. We had the January lean rump and a side deal. The steaks tasted wonderful, so did the chips. Not eaten at Hawksmoor before but it came highly recommended. I can see why.

WOW 🤩 absolutely stunning food. We had Georgina serving us who was very engaging polite and knowledgeable in the food and sizes for sharing , all the staff were very welcoming polite happy and courteous. Building is beautiful if I had a negative it would be it’s a trek to the bathroom but after outstanding oysters lobster chateaubriand beef dripping chips Mac and cheese butter greens , cheese board I think the steps where needed!! Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed

Visited for my wife’s birthday. Had a fabulous table in the corner of the restaurant. Lilia our waitress could not have been anymore attentive. The sommelier opened and decanted the wine we had brought. Very professional and knowledgeable. My wife loves onion rings and I mentioned it to Lilia, but there wasn’t any on the menu. When our food arrived there was some specially made onion rings which the chef had made. They were fantastic and a lovely gesture. The steaks were cooked perfectly. All in all a wonderful experience. Will definitely return.

Excellent food, service very good, drinks top notch, altogether a classic long lunch.

It was lovely and a nice setting in India Buildings. Although we had the steak offer and it was only rump and one of the steaks came out with half of the steak being fat. As I was advised this is due to the type of steak I think diners should be asked if they would like a fatty option. This was half of the steak and was not enjoyed. Experience was very good apart from that and will definitely like to return.

We had a table booked at 6.30 and crazy golf at 8. We waited that long for are food we had to change the time of the golf or lose are money. Two drinks were 27 pound. Food was lovely but please be aware salad and chips need to be ordered too as the steak is the price on its own. The bill was very expensive and we only had a main and two drinks and a bottle of water coming to 202 pound. The price of the steak is by weight so this is something else you need to be aware of when booking. Food was lovely but it should be for the price of it. I think I’ll stick to going to meat down the road for a quarter of the price and the food is just as nice. As nice as it was I won’t be back again for the price of the food I was still hungry when I left. This was between 2 people. For a sharing steak for two chips each a peppercorn sauce to share and two cocktails each and a bottle of water.

Called in late after comedy club. Booking was very easy. Service was very good. Not cheap , but food was nice

Beautiful setting, perfect lighting and surroundings, great atmosphere; THE most attentive staff and THE best steak we have had. Thank you and as it was our first time, we will DEFINITELY be returning.

The ribs were too salty and tomahawk was not the quality you whould expect so defo not vfm. The dessert was indifferent.

Late impulse booking, great vibe and service, outstanding steak. Whole family loved it. My first Hawksmoor outside London - wish we had one in Birmingham !

Sunday roast - Yorkshire were cold, roast potatoes were hard and cold. Steak massively overpriced compared to competitors. Will not be returning.

The restaurant was nice but the food was bog standard. The menu had a poor selection of options. Uts a shame because I was expecting much better.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our food and especially the wine! Unfortunately the relaxed nature of our sever left us feeling as if we had visited a cafe? He was polite but too familiar and casual, he asked if we wanted dessert and we asked if we could wait a few minutes and his reply was “no problem I’ll go for a wee and come back when I’m finished”!!!! We had spent almost £300 in your restaurant and expected a more professional experience and we had certainly received that on previous visits. Your food speaks for itself but you cannot buy good service.
