Hawksmoor - Air Street

The service and food was great. We had a lovely meal.

I love the Hawksmoor on Air Street, its one of our favourite steak places in London. This time was a little disappointing compared to other visits - the booking time was wrong so they said we missed it, I booked it when in spain and it seems the time zone difference booked it an hour earlier uk time... they were good in that they booked another table later for.usm they said come to the bar before, so we did, 45 mins inn advance. The lady on reception was not happy ot friendly and told us off for coming too early, making a big deal out of it so we left and went to another bar for a drink. Came back for thr table tone, they had no macaroni cheese, which is a favourite of mine, but ok no issues. He mash and gravy was not nice, it felt like it had been sat toonlong on a hotnpkate and was stodgy.After that the food was amazingwaiger was great. Overall food was good apart from the mash and service good apart from the recpetiinist. I would still go back again as I know how amazing it can be.

I was here for a very special birthday celebration and our excellent meal was only surpassed by the amazing service we received from our Waiter, ADIL From the cocktails, to our meal to dessert, everything was wonderful. Thank you ADIL!

Parts were excellent. Possibly an excess of grissle on one steak and pre ordered glass of wine arriving only after a little prompting

Ordered a med rare steak and it came med Wd. Told the waiter who did replace it for a mes rare but that was ok. Not really worth what I paid

Great food, great service, great options. The waiting staff are always on hand and knowledgeable. If I had a criticism, it would be the choice of table, booked through this app, everyone that wanted to use the toilet had to walk past, it was like a production line.

Very busy and so quite loud but food excellent. Service could have been a little more relaxed. Clearly trying to turn over tables quickly. Expensive but worth it.

No very impressed. Steak was over cooked and my friend's lobster wasn't cooked enough, she was ill for our show. Really had high expectations for this place and was very disappointed. Won't be rushing back.

Had a really nice meal. The service was great, and it was as expected on the steak (yummy, but a bit overcooked) the mashed and green beans were fabulous!

Arrived at 5.10pm to be told that they had sold out of Sunday roast! Wot? It’s a steak restaurant!

First time here at the Hawksmoor and what a lovely place. Fabulous steak cooked to perfection and amazing jersey royals. Staff were so nice and very welcoming and attentive . We’ll definitely be returning.

The food was lovely, generously portioned - and beautifully cooked to perfection! The staff were user-friendly! Our only gripe was service after the main meal vanished - we wanted to order dessert, but it took a while.....

The service by the first girl was poor, she went home and then the second male waiter wasn't any better I regret paying the service charge now. And we will not be rushing back

Great overall, sadly didn't have grilled bone marrow available which was half of what I wanted from the visit. Steak and rest were great as usual.

Starting with a positive the food was delicious and service was attentive although it almost felt a little rushed. However I wish I’d asked for a more secluded table as we were seated very close between two other tables for 2, one of which was talking distractingly loudly. I almost asked to be moved but it would have been impossible to do this without drawing the attention of the other table. This did spoil our enjoyment of the evening unfortunately but can’t fault the food so definitely not all bad.

Very fatty steak which they changed but i thought the chef Personally selected all steaks?

Always a lovely restaurant to visit. Great staff, always knowledgeable and quick service. Food is always delicious and amazing - so much so that we ordered more sides! Cocktails were delicious, dessert made me happy. A must for an overall good meal.

Good service , nice location . Food was good but steaks were a little overdone.

Food took too long and they mistakenly added almost £40 to our bill. Still not sure if they refunded them either 🤔. Food was really good though
