Excellent service. Lovely food. Very much enjoyed the evening. No rush to get us out the door after eating.

Excellent food, excellent service, and quiet, restful and convivial atmosphere

The meal was let down by really bad roast potatoes, not at all roasty, far too big and barely cooked and the veg was minimal. The service was great and very little waiting time.

Booked for 1.45 arrived early for pre meal drink we weren't rushed to take our table , Friendly helpful staff let us take our time over our meal ,excellent time had by all ,we'll done

Most of the visit was good, starter not value for money

Generally the food was nice, but the roast potatoes were a little disappointing. I’m no chef, but they tasted as if they had been cooked in advance and then warmed up in a fryer.

Delicious food, food served very quick, waitress very friendly & helpful. Only one suggestion floater coffee sugar in first stir then the cream !! We will be back.

Staff were very friendly and always at hand if needed. Didn't wait long in-between courses. Plenty of room for dinners and also an area for dinners with dog's. Food was lovely and homemade and reasonably priced. Overall very satisfied

All the 4 meals were good except that the childrens chicken roast would have been better with sliced chicken and not a quarter of a leg. Also it should have been whipped cram on the floater coffee and not canned.

Lovely customer service and the food was pleasant. Reasonably priced although the drinks were expensive. The atmosphere was also really nice - old decor but in-keeping with the building.

We had made a prior booking and followed guidelines to wait to be seated. We were acknowledged by the barmaid, and told by another, they would be with us once they had delivered the drinks they were carrying. We were passed twice by another member of staff twice, and the member who told she wouldn’t be with, passed again, went to clear a table before coming back to us. We wanted to sit outside due to the weather so it was bar service, we could have ordered our drinks while waiting? The table we sat at had seen better days and one area with decent chairs and tables had been closed off. The waitress who served and cleared was very pleasant and food good value for money.

Staff were inattentive not looking to see if customers needed anything constantly had to look for staff if we wanted drinks . We were served an Americano coffee in a dirty cup which had lipstick stains on it would expect staff to check cups glasses plates cutlery before serving anything to customers . Staff need better training on customer service it seemed as if no one was actually in charge of the waiting staff.

It was great, a good meal but as usual they do not dish up enough vegetables and too many potatoes. Good service.

We were welcomed and given the option to eat inside or out. We had 2 children with us aged 2 and 4 and they were well catered for. We had a marvellous 3 course meal with excellent friendly service

Service friendly but sporadic. On us straight away when arrived - too soon really & food arrived super quick then table not cleared no dessert menus and second drinks very delayed. Surroundings untidy, gardens not maintained, furnishings tired, room a bit cold & little atmosphere

Sunday roast satisfactory although limited quantity of vegetables served, (very hot) Plates need to be heated to avoid food losing its heat.

The service was first class, very prompt and attentive, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. Can't find a single fault and will definitely be going again!

Felt very safe and thought they had organised Covid safety well. Young man who served us was very friendly and we enjoyed our lunch. Food arrived in good time. Would recommmend .

Clean and welcoming, moderate choice menu, starter salmon and prawns more like shrimp and salmon. Steaks good, prices reasonable, overall pleasant evening

Quick service busy! Rather loud table in same area as us which was bit off putting as couldn’t hear what our table was saying

We haven't been here for a couple of years, but we took advantage of the eat out to help out offer. The food was amazing. The waiting staff were amongst the best we have ever experienced. This is now our new favorite place to eat in Tewkesbury.

Great food and great service. Kids enjoyed their food and so did the adults. Felt like it was prior to c19. Will go again.
