Excellent fresh food, great drinks. Contemporary design with nice outside area. Parking on site or close by at the Waitrose. We will definitely come back.

Great steak sandwhich very tasty and beautifully cooked. Friendly and helpful staff. Service efficient and slick. My friend has the salmon and praised that too. Very comfortable. Already been back.

Service was slow. We had to go to the bar to ask for tea and coffee. Plates were left on the plate and then we had to go to tell them we need to pay. Had goats salad on beetroot. Salad was quite oily.

Lovely food. Nice clean light airy place. Great location. Staff lovely. My 2nd time visiting and just as lovely. Great full English breakfast at a reasonable price. 😃

Lovely clean, airy restaurant. The service was good. The food was delicious & well presented . The wine was great and reasonably priced. We even managed a pudding which was great. Would highly recommend Grade. 👍

Waiting time to order drinks and food at quiet time was surprising - food was very very good though. When leaving tables were filling up but not enough menus to cover tables!?!?!

The first two courses were very good but there was too much cream and not enough meringue in the Eton Mess. The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was good. The little hearts on the table and the dipped strawberries were a nice touch.

Although my 5 friends had an enjoyable lunch I ordered soup of the day which I was advised was French Onion, I was surprised to be asked if I wanted white or brown bread. The soup was not what I expected not the traditional soup with cheese melted over bread on the top. Sadly the soup tasted more like gravy.

The food was excellent! The staff were lovely, very patient and understanding we were slow choosing as it was a catch up with a friend

Another great breakfast at the Grade. The food, excellent, the coffee & tea, perfection and a lovely staff. who could ask for anything more! We'll be back very soon & may try lunch next time.

Very slow service. Both meal that we ordered were both incorrect. However the staff were very friendly. Nice restaurant if you aren’t in a hurrry.

Nice meal and wine - we ordered far too much! Not sure I'm ever going to be hungry again. The service was really good also. Would return.

We enjoyed the food especially the bruschetta and goats cheese tapas. Really tasty. The cheesecake was delicious. and the staff were pleasant and efficient.reslly enjoyed it and would visit again.

Service was good, food could be warmer and would of been better to be delivered in stages and on hot plates as this was tapas.

A great place to meet friends. Staff very friendly & leave you to chat once you've finished your meal without making you feel as though you need to order more. Food a bit on the expensive side but plenty of it.3rd time I've been.

Nice looking from the outside. Really nice interior. High quality food served by eager waiter's. I think there must have been 4 people cooking and at least 4/5 serving. Amazing service

Another great breakfast at Grade. The team were attentive but we never felt rushed. Quality of products to a high standard, fresh, beautifully cooked and piping hot. Portions and presentation great with a wide choice of breakfast products to choose from. Lovely team creating a relaxed, warming atmosphere, highly recommended.

The food was tasty but pricey, e.g. Greek Salad tapas was tiny. The service was good but slow, and we were delayed for an event despite telling the staff. The bill took too long to appear. Good but could have been much better. A party with 4 noisy children running round did not help the atmosphere

A very good tapas restaurant with good food, good service, good portions and a good choice. Beer wasn't to my taste ( IPA over chilled and little flavour) but my dining partner said the wine was veryour good. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely food , atmosphere and great service and price ! Plenty of sandwiches and cakes on the afternoon tea option with an added option for prosecco, very nice.

We had been to the Grade Café previously and had a wonderful brunch/breakfast, so when our family came to visit we took them for a late breakfast. Unfortunately, this time the service and standard of food was less than expected, we were given a discounted bill at the end.

Absolutely wonderful first visit to the Grand Cafe. Had a truly first rate breakfast ...my wife had the crushed avocado & poached egg on sour dough bread and I had the full English; absolutely scrumptious! we wil, be going back very soon!

Food was ok but disappointed by the new menu, thought the old one was much better and had more interesting dishes, staff as always are very good and attentive.

We were very impressed with the very nice food and excellent service and all agreed that we would definitely like to go again in the near future

Have been several times , and it's always been great , very disappointed last night , food not as good ,service very poor , had to keep asking for things they had forgot.

What a great place. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were lovely with our little ones. The food was excellent too and we didn't wait very long. Refreshing to see good choice for children too. We'll definitely be back!

Great food. I think everyone had arrived almost at the same time so food a little slow coming to the table and no promptly asked if we wanted a drink. Didn't get the table we had requested either as the other party had booked via the phone. So lesson learnt there! :(

Food and service very good indeed, but the restaurant was very noisy. Very loud and unrestful music. We thought the dessert menu was not very inspiring

Grade is a lovely cafe bar, with great choice for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Lovely bright interior and also outdoor seating for a sunny day :)

Great food - love the tapas menu, which has a varied selection of hot and cold dishes - and friendly attentive service. Perfect way to spend a Saturday night !

The food was very good. Kids meals in particular were very tasty and great value. Unfortunately there was a really long wait for the food, and it didn't even seem that busy. There was no apology for the length of time we had to wait. If I'm being honest, I think the service could have been a bit friendlier. The people who served us showed minimum politeness but there was no enthusiasm there.

Amazing food and great service. The staff were really helpful in the choice of tapas we should go for and it all came beautifully presented and tasted delicious! Would highly recommend for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

This is one of my favourite eateries. The staff are friendly, attentive but equally not in your face. I had the chicken Caesar salad today, not a stingy plate of food as with some establishments, and totally delicious. Well done Grade keep up the good work

Lovely meal and great service . I took my wife here for our monthly date night after a recommendation from my brother in law . We had a tapas style evening meal which was really good . A good selection of dishes were on offer and each one that we had was well presented, hot and very tasty . Very busy but service was very good. Server gave good advice on dishes and how many to order . Fantastic gin menu also !!! Would definitely return in the future !

Once again a lovely meal at Grade. Excellent service and great atmosphere. I have eaten at Grade at lunch time and evening .....in small groups and large groups and would recommend it to everyone.

Excellent food - very tasty and decent sized portions. We had tapas and loved the lamb tagine and Parmesan potatoes. Great atmosphere too which was a bonus.

Good hot food. Pleasant staff. Service good. Nobody asked if we would like coffee after the food. We would have, but left without bothering .

Great food although not cheap. Glad we booked as although very quiet when we got there opit was packed by 8pm. Service got slower through the evening but drinks not hard to come by. My husband enjoyed the gin!
