Grade Cafe Bar

Our party of 6 ordered quite a broad range from the breakfast menu with differing results. The "stack" of pancakes was megre and comprised of only two pancakes. Hardly a "stack". Nice room but food generally was a let down.

Dreadfully slow service and it wasn't busy at all. Overall good value

Meal was served fairly quickly but no follow up. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else and could have done with another drink. Took a while to get their attention to get the bill.. food ok but not as good as expected. The chicken kebab looked really nice but was dry and had clearly not been marinaded.

Nice cafe for brunch. Friendly staff, excellent food and lovely decor.

Easy booking via Quandoo, great meal with good service. Burgers were big & tasty & my wife’s ‘wild trout ‘ was beautiful- she said. Family meal out - they also provided children’s portions.

Lovely meal but due to there being a private party occupying one area at times the service was a bit slow.

A Mother and Son b’day, a great experience all round!

We were disappointed having visited twice before for tapas I brought friends for the same having read in the website that tapas was on the menu. On arrival we were advised that they no longer do tapas and haven’t for over 12 months ... why keep it on the website then? One of the party had the chicken burger which was supposed to be with avocado which they had run out of at lunch time ... there are several supermarkets nearby so more avocado could have been bought! The steak was over cooked. Would not go again I’m afraid mainly as we wanted a tapas meal not a full meal and were disappointed as it was for a birthday.

Food was quick and the kids meals are great as they can have choose anything on the menu which my son loved. The food was great too

Fab food. Our group enjoyed full English, vegetarian breakfast and pancakes with crispy bacon. The only minus points were for a couple of extremely wobbly/broken chairs.

My friend and I had a lovely lunch at Grade Cafe bar, I had a chicken kebab which was cooked to perfection on a fresh naan bread with some really fresh tasty slaw and salad, my friend had a sandwich which was equally good. The service was excellent and the staff were all friendly and very efficient. We finished with a really good coffee, a really pleasant lunch thank you.

Nice location. Great that you can park outside. Could be cosier and warmer. Food was good even though it was a bit pricey for the quality and portion size. Drinks menu is very good. Staff are great. Pity it was not busier for a saturday evening.

We ordered the chicken gougons and goats cheese to start and share and the crispy beef for our mains and it was very tasty. The staff were very attentive and pleasant.

Very friendly welcome. They were just about to change to a new menu so several dishes were unavailable but what we had was very good quality and reasonably priced.

Food excellent and a good range of menu choices. Unfortunately one member of staff was rather abrupt. This is the only time I have found this at Grade. Staff are generally very friendly and helpful.

Fish was cooked perfectly. Presentation in a cereal bowl was disappointing Chicken which my friend had was ok but mean on the chicken £2or 3 pounds too much for each meal We had a good table in the window Thankyou

Service was friendly and efficient. The homemade carrot soup was delicious. Lovely table in a pleasant atmosphere. Staff very obliging . Definitely go for lunch again

We went for my birthday breakfast on the coldest October night since 1990something. I expected to be cold but the underfloor heating made Grade warm and inviting. What a great breakfast menu. An A4 sheet of temtping breakfasts! Our breakfast was delicious

Loved it at Grade , lovely food , great atmosphere . Staff all very friendly . It was recommended to me by a friend took my mum who loved it too .

First time here today, went with former work colleagues, wonderful lunch in very nice surroundings. We had two of the sharing boards, excellent value for money, great sticky toffee pudding and good coffee. For me a benchmark in an eating establishment are the toilets. That may sound amusing but the toilets in many cafe/ restaurants leave a lot to be desired. Clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and welcoming, again something sadly lacking in many places. Do not let these standards drop, we will be back. Colin J

Great little place in Poynton serving lovely food. Shame not everything was available off the menu but this is only due to their popularity. Will definitely return.

Grade is a local restaurant which gives very good service and serves excellent food. It is also a restaurant that is child friendly. An asset to Poynton.

Food was excellent however I had the white bait and was surprised it was deep fried, would have been better if that had been explained on the menu. The atmosphere was really good and the waitress was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Will go back again

The food was delicious. Our waitress told us some of the history of the building. She was friendly and lovely and very knowledgeable about the menu and what I could have as a vegan. We gad a lovely time. It’s the second time we’ve been and we will go back. Thank to all at Grade! Kate Janet and Barbara.

Nestled in the top corner of Park Lane in Poynton this unassuming little cafe bar exceeds all expectations when you walk through the door. We have only visited this establishment twice, once for lunch and then a second visit for an evening meal and on both occasions we were very happy with both our choice of food from the menu and the reasonably priced drinks. Everything is freshly cooked so you do need to allow for waiting time but the wait is worth it. The staff are very friendly and they make it their business to ensure that you are enjoying your visit. There are only a few tables inside but there is also space outside if you decide to eat alfresco. We will probably visit again soon to try their brunch menu which looks very appealing. Well worth a visit.

Excellent service, lovely, fresh food and great atmosphere.nothing was too much trouble . Plenty of parking space and an outside area . We will definitely return. Thank you.

Great food and a nice selection of G&Ts. The burger was great, my wife had fish and chips which she enjoyed. The tapas that came out to a table by us looked really delicious. The staff were friendly, really enjoyed the evening.

Grade is really good. It’s very relaxed but smartly decorated. Food is extremely good and the waitress was very friendly. It has a gin menu which I enjoyed and a sensible selection of general popular wines. I have been several times and always enjoyed myself.

Excellent tapas, as good as any we have recently experienced on holiday. Sensibly priced food and wine, pleasantly served by the staff. Well worth a visit.

Nice venue and the food was ok. Choice quite limited if you only want a light snack. We went on a very hot day and sat inside whilst everyone else was outside so it was nice and quiet.
