This is a good local Italian. Friendly and welcoming. Reasonable prices and surprisingly easy to get to - Bonhill is right on the boundary between trendy South Hoxton and theCity of London.

Great food and terrific service. Highly recommended. We had a starter of Italian meat and cheese specialty that who pretty good in flavour and quantity and we ended up with 2 delicious pizza that we couldn’t finish, but we were able to pack them away. Loved the food

Very hospitable staff and well versed with the menu. Drinks menu has very good choice of alcohol and non alcohol. Really enjoyed their steak and white wine!

We had a works event at Giovannis and have to say we were really well looked after. Food was excellent. Atmosphere in the restaurant was also good.

Efficient service, prompt welcome on arrival. Food was of a reasonable standard, but not exceptional. Main course pasta portions seemed small, but few places offer generous amounts these days.

Lovely and authentic Italian restaurant within a five minute or so walk from Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations. Good, attentive service and generous portions. Reasonably priced considering what is on offer.

Very nice restaurant, pizza was very tasty. Service was very friendly and there are some TVs with football which was very entertaning for us guys.

The food was very good, with friendly and efficient service. The only downside of the evening was the fact that there was very little time courses, which made us feel rushed. Which was puzzling as the restaurant wasn’t frantically busy.

We had a business lunch and were greeted with a warm welcome, with friendly and efficient service. The food was well prepared and very tasty, and the staff remained attentive but not obtrusive throughout the meal.

Aways delivers, never lets you down. Took a 'trendy Hoxton street food' friend who really loved it. You can't beat a great Italian. And Giovanni's is just that!

Big portions! Massive calzone pizza (perhaps too much mozzarella), and huge garlic bread - only ordered one to share between two and it was a meal in itself. Good work.
