There was some apparent confusion about my booking and I wasn't asked for a booking reference. We had barely finished our main courses, in fact I hadn't put down my fork, when the waiter came to take our plates. Considering there were only about 6 people in there, they were unlikely to be short of crockery. In general the service was rather off hand. The choice for non meat eaters is poor.
Good food, very Italian. While it may have a relatively small menu the food is excellent and so was the wine. Paid what was expected for that part of London. A nice modern decortaed restaraunt with very friendly staff.
Food and service very good. We were there for pre theatre dinner, so kept it basic. Wine was excellent, with a good choice. Atmosphere relaxed although a bit load
We were a party of eight and had booked a table for a late Saturday lunch. We had looked for a central London venue which was easy to access by public transport. Getti was exactly that. We received excellent service from the staff and there was no pressure to 'hurry up' The restaurant was attractive and there was a wide choice on the menu which suited everyone and which we all enjoyed.
Great food and attentive service! We enjoyed our visit and will return again when we are next have a day out in London. Great experience.
As in previous visits the staff were welcoming, considerate and professional. The food and menu was varied and the five of us found something good to choose from and it turned up with not a long wait and was well prepared. The prices were reasonable too. We will return when we have a need for a meeting place in Central London
This was our third visit and we were not at all disappointed. As before, the food was lovely and the service is just brilliant - the staff are so attentive and friendly. It's a joy to visit!
As always Getti v welcoming and excellent service. Food v fine but salad not the best in town even for comparable restaurants. But will certainly return.
First visit to Getti Italian restaurant. Good atmosphere very near the theatre as well that's why we picked it. Very pleasant staff worth a try.
Very easy to book and the email confirmation arrived swiftly. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our table. It was our first venture into Getti and we were not disappointed the food was very well presented and served timely even though there was a large part of theatre goers. We will definitely return when we next visit London.
My reservation wasnt showing on their system on arrival. Given a Crap table in the middle of the restaurant, this was a client meeting. Expensive for what it was. Staff were good but overall experience was quite poor
Lovely food, very nice atmosphere , friendly staff. One waitress got my drink order wrong and was a bit slow bringing back the correct one but it was a busy time with quite a few pre- theatre diners, so understandable . Would definitely go there again .
I have been dining here for nearly 20 years and I have never once been disappointed. The staff and their service is impeccable and the food is exquisite. A real Italian treat!
I have been to the restaurant many times and have always been very satisfied - yesterday however, my meal was a very small size and I was very disappointed. Portion size seems to have shrunk and this was not a cheap choice - I will think again before I return.
Fantastic restaurant, perfect for pre-theatre meal as it's in the prime location. Flavourful, authentic Italian cuisine, courteous service. Would strongly recommend to anyone in the area.
It was such a great experience, will go again for sure! Service great, food so so good and with the right company and great choice of wine you can't go wrong. Will be back and thanks again to all Getti staff!
Friendly, helpful (take your coat) staff, good food, reasonably priced (especially for the area). Atmosphere of an independent restaurant. Good location for lunch, pre-theatre dining, any dining in fact. Modern, attractively decorated and furnished (not minimalist).
Excellent lunch place with quick efficient courteous service. Tasteful preparations and nicely served. Reservations and quick seating for lunch not an issue either. Will recommend.
Lovely lunch with my sister and brother-in-law before going to the theatre. The service was excellent and we all enjoyed our meals. The grilled fish selection was particularly good.
This was our third time here and the quality of the food was as good as before. We ate from the main menu as well as the three course set menu. The food is well presented and delicious. There is a good choice to suit all tastes and a varied wine list. Would recommend Getti's anytime, well done team.
It's OK, but offers uninspiring pizzas and pasta. Lukewarm un-iced tap water to drink, though £19 chardonnay (cheapest wine on the list) very drinkable and good value. Main courses other than pizza/pasta are £20 upwards. Pleasant staff, undistinguished food, but good value I suppose for Jermyn Street location.
Third time here and it was just as expected! I love this place! Food is amazing, I always get a pasta dish. My favorite is the gnocchi!
I've been going to Getti for many years now, the food is great services too, really nice people working there. and its very reasonably priced. good value.
Fantastic Italian dining experience. I went with my partner before visiting the RA (5 minute walk away) and had a great time. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was quiet but atmospheric and above all the food was great. Recommend the tiramisu - I've been to Italy many times but this was the best I've ever tasted!
The restaurant serves fantastic food, had great service, good atmosphere, it's not too noisy, good value for money and in a perfect location, just of Piccadilly Circus. Perfect.
We have been here many times now, and as always the service and food was second to none - lovely restaurant, with friendly, attentive staff, and a lovely ambience. Highly recommended!
Excellent and friendly service by all of the staff who I met. The food was really good and very reasonably priced. Overall a very pleasant lunch - I will be back.
The food and atmosphere in Getti Jermyn Street is very good and authentic Italian. I have been coming here for a number of years. The set price menu is good value but the a la carte menu priced have risen alarmingly since I was last there a year or so ago.
The food and service were both good, however there was no record of this booking which caused embarrassment for me and my guest upon arrival. Having said that, as the restaurant was not full they were able to seat us.
My Saturday evening birthday meal at Gettis in Jermyn street could not have been better. Excellent service and lovely food, reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed this pre-theatre treat.
Excellent in every way will certainly return when next in London. Do not really need to say more all selected dishes were cooked to perfection!
It's the perfect meal, lovely food, good service, at a reasonable price, great location - you really can't say fairer than that! Would highly recommend.
Nice Italian food (great garlic bread!) and usual good service from Italian waiters. Good location but advisable to book in advance. We would definitely go again.
Friendly service by the team. Good fresh Italian food. Typical menu with little innovation but well prepared and served. Really enjoyed it and will return.
The food was a little disappointing for the price: my fegato contained excellent steamed vegetables but too little liver, the cream sauce with the ravioli was rather too rich, and the panna cotta was too well set, with a firm crust. So despite the excellent vegetables, there were signs of items straight out of the fridge. However the service was excellent; thank you, Antonella, who was very attentive.
Not as good as previous visits, food very good, service went wrong. Errors acknowledged and free deserts and coffee supplied. So overall still enjoyed meal. Will probably give them another chance
Good food and good atmosphere. They were happy for me to be seated at the table whilst I waited for some friends who were running late. There was no rush to finish our meal and leave which was appreciated. I would go there again.
Good service, friendly staff. The food was very good and we had an enjoyable time.
Quick, friendly service, tasty Tagliatelle alla Bolognese and Insalata Primavera- an atmosphere in which it was possible to talk without being interrupted by loud background music
The food was lovely and the staff very attentive. We were very happy with our meal and will definitely go back again.
Once it arrived the food was well-presented and tasty. Took some time to arrive though!
We received a friendly welcome on arrival but we're disappointed not to be offered the Pre-post theatre set menu. When I asked I was told that they weren't able to offer the set menu due to a problem with one of their suppliers. I would have thought that any half-decent Italian restaurant would be able to substitute an alternative dish rather scrap the menu. We ate from the main menu which was fine but significantly more expensive.
Good value for money for a quick lunch but did not have wine
Enjoyed an excellent three course lunch at Getti on a horribly cold, wet day in London. Lovely warm and cosy, cafe-style restaurant, which soon filled up. We were shown to a table upstairs, where we were served promptly and with great courtesy. Good wholesome Italian menu - delicious risotto with beetroot was a revelation! Very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Good food and good service. Good choice on the menu and they offered a lunch menu for 2 or 3 courses at a special price - sorry can't remember prices.
An enjoyable dining experience; menu is slightly limited and doesn't really appear to have changed much since our last visit 10-months ago. However, the food is well cooked and nicely presented, and for a West End restaurant, reasonably priced.
Enjoyable experience. Getti had the booking and were expecting us . Had a pleasant meal with good service before going on to the theatre nearby.
Good food and great service together with exceptional value for money
Good service, good food (pizzas for lunch) and good wine. And very conveniently located too, half a minute from Piccadilly Circus Tube. Highly recommended for formal or informal meals
Haphazard service warm Prosecco cold Lasagne shame was previously good.
