Gorgeous breakfast, maybe give an option of unsmoked bacon, but it was great.

Staff welcoming and friendly. Service excellent. Food amazing, each course was delicious and best of all it was brilliant value for money.

Went for late breakfast. Friendly welcome, safely distanced tables, very quick service, excellent food and very hot drinks. Such a relaxed and calm atmosphere. The price is slightly more than I would normally choose to pay for breakfast but as it was, I would definitely choose to pay that price and visit again. Highly recommended.

Roast beef and pork were lovely but the fish was disappointing

Very organised, staff are brilliant and check-in was very efficient. The George is a restaurant we feel very comfortable in especially during these times of Covid.

I visited on Saturday to take my daughter out for breakfast, the whole experience was well organised with a feeling of safety . The service was to a very high standard which also matched the quality of the food , so we will be back soon .... well if Boris allows us to.

We entered and they had all COVID relative signs and captures available, we noticed the people before us hadn’t booked and they made sure to take all relative details for track and trace. We sat down and the staff were friendly and as approachable as we liked whilst having the fun vibe we required, we did notice that other tables were not into that and spotted the team were adaptable for each table, as is usual in hospitality. We cannot fault the recommendations for food wine or the desserts, all was wonderful. The quality of the food was delicious and is on par if not better than a whole bunch of restaurants in the city centre but without the price tag! I spotted in the bathroom that they have amazing offers throughout the week... we will be back for your surf and turf on a Monday and just generally for our date night or for a gathering with our housemates! Thanks for a wonderful, friendly and tasty evening George’s! We will see you soon!

I haven't had such a tasty meal for a very long time. Really really enjoyed my pork tenderloin with black pudding and my cherry tarte desert today. Staff is very professional and friendly and they're all wearing masks and trying to keep some distance from you even when they taking your order. I will definitely be back.
