Had breakfast there which was absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go there again, lovely atmosphere and surroundings and could not fault anything.

Plates cold, food quality good, reasonable size portions,grit in Mushroom Ravioli , cold upstairs and no wall lights on so dark, basic errors hopefully they can improve with ?

Fantastic food and lovely staff. Everything was spot on from start to finish. We really enjoyed the evening there. Great selection of cocktails as well.

Good service, nice food, but the duck and seabass were a bit dry. It was valentines and all the ladies got a rose exept me which wasn't picked up on by any staff which was disappointing. No preferences asked for my cocktails which weren't to my taste. Other than that, nice atmosphere.

The Service was impeccable, let us combine dishes to suit our taste. Sweet potato soup was the best I've ever had, fillet steak was cooked to perfection, dessert was our favourite!! ❤️❤️❤️ I recommend the chocolate fondant!!! back tomorrow for lunch!

Great service and the food was excellent. we went on a Friday so had the added bonus of a live singer. Will definitely be returning soon!!

Sunday menu was very good value. Food was delicious. We were sat in the private dinning room, which was lovely. Staff were attentive and friendly.

I went thete this evening and found delicious food and great service. The portion sizes are very generous. Couldn't fault it. We had a great time.

We had a lovely meal, delicious food and a lovely surroundings. Too full for a desert, but they also looked very very tasty indeed. We will definitely return in the next couple of weeks. Thank you Georges!

Staff are great and very friendly. food is well priced and of a very good standard. Kids are made very welcome and are looked with a menu that has variety.

Had a great time - atmosphere was busy & buzzy & we loved the bar area. The service was excellent - they arranged things so that we could move to another table that was further in to the restaurant, they were knowledgeable about the menu and when I asked if I could swap the tagliatelle for salad it was not an issue. The seabass was gorgeous beautifully cooked & worked so well with the beetroot & the vegetables were piping hot & crisp not overcooked. Overall, very impressed & will definitely be returning.

The food all round (4 of us dined) to be of a good quality but not great. The staff were very good but failed to hand us back our coats which they kindly stored away for us when we arrived. We had to get them ourselves out of a closed cupboard.

Lovely surroundings, nice mix of traditional and modern cuisine. Slightly on the prices side, but nice for a special occasion. My sea bass was slightly overdone, but the cocktails more than made up for that!😀

The food was good and great value for money with the set menu offer. The staff were fantastic and really looked after my Mum who is 88.

I brought my husband to George's for brunch as a birthday treat. On arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the 'George's Breakfast' was delicious. We can't wait dine here again. Superb place.

Great cocktails and food. Service very good despite being very busy. Free cocktail of choice as celebrating my birthday - nice touch. Will be returning!

From the valentines menu I chose the game starter which was the highlight of the meal closely followed by the gingerbread and cherry sobet. The cod was also lovely. The single red rose was a lovely touch as was seeing Ryan Giggs and Nicky butt at the bar!!

The only issue was that when we ordered the wild mushroom ravioli from the menu the waitress came back and informed that it was now butternut squash ravioli !! Otherwise a great meal (we had steaks instead which were excellent) and very good service. Definitely will go again.

Food, service and venue were all superb. The whole visit was a wonderful way to enjoy an early Valentine's meal. I'd highly recommend George's to everyone.

Food was fabulous. Service was great. If I had a complaint it would be that the experience was over too quickly. I'll definitely be back!!!

We had a superb meal and the service was excellent. After our meal we moved to the bar area as there was a live singer on which really finished off our lovely family meal. We have had many meals here including, breakfasts, lunch and dinner and are looking forward to the summer months when we can enjoy drinks upstairs on the veranda.

Hi, I made this booking for my Mum and her friend as it was Mum's 78th birthday. Rob the manager made this a simple transaction as I don't live local any more but I wanted to pay the bill. Rob called me and the bill was settled. Anyway back to the experience, my Mum thought it was wonderful, the food was fantastic , the service from Rob and his staff was second to none and it made for a really special occasion . Small place tables were abit too close food was ok overall was ok, the cauliflower soup and the duck leg for starter was nice. I had steak for my main, medium and found parts of the beef rather chewy, my partner had the poached chicken and found it slightly dry. One of the glasses given to us was dirty so asked for a new one and I don't know if the same glass was given on return, so I didn't bother to ask for another glass, maybe that's the best they could do with offering a clean glass? Overall the Service was good. Parking at the back which made it easy to access.

I have been with my missus about 5 times its well worth going the food is realy nice and it doeant break the bank all the staff are friendly and easy to aproch its a high standerd restaurany without the high prices

The food was poor. We ordered two Sunday Roasts and had to send one back. The service was poor and I definitely won't be going back.

Good service and a lovely restaurant. Afternoon tea was so good! Was running late on our way there but they were good about holding our table, looking forward to going again!

Disappointed with our first visit to George's. Lighting was poor making it difficult to read menu's. My meal was not bad but my wife was not happy with her meal. Her smoked salmon was dark in colour and did not look appetising unlike mine that had good colour. My main course of wild mushroom ravioli was fine. but my wife found her meal of beer-batterd haddock, french fries and mushy peas dry and bland. Would think twice before going again.

Service good. Disappointed that we were given the limited Sunday menu on a bank holiday Monday providing only one vegetarian option! Could also do with seat cushions on the wicker type chairs. Staff excellent, courteous, and very friendly. Will be visiting again very soon.

Fantastic first visit. Definitely be back. The Sunday Roast was delicious and far away from the rubbish served in any pub chain. Thoroughly enjoyed 😁

Food was okay, if a little on the expensive side for what you got, otherwise a pleasant place to dine with a nice atmosphere and good staff.

Very modern interior, and a welcoming bar area, we enjoyed a lovely meal, with good table service, very pleasant staff, great overall value, will 100% go again.

Food was excellent. Limited menu on a Sunday, but what we had was great. Extremely pleasent waitress, who was lovely. Didn't have crushed ice to make cocktails which was disappointing, but chose something else to drink, so not a problem. Would definitely return, beautiful food.

Amazing food and service. Always a great friendly atmosphere. We have been a few times now and cant think of a bad word other than its not closer to my house.

Lovely ambience. Staff attentive and friendly. Waited quite while for meal but lovely when arrived. Kids ordered choc brownie bites but just hard slab of choc brownie. Would return though.
