It was our first visit and unfortunately we didn’t realise there was live music on which made it impossible to have a conversation

Took son and family for breakfast, great food, lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, very enjoyable all round.

Had pork belly last night and it was cooked to perfection. My partner had the vegetable tagliatelle with chicken and it looked and tasted amazing, definitely going back soon to have that!

Lovely friendly staff. Welcoming and warm. Food was spot on. I haven’t been for years and it’s only improved. I went for breakfast. Avocado and perfect poached eggs. Was lovely

Service was poor even though hardly no-one in. Ordered drinks which we had to chase up after 10-15 mins. Slow to take food order. Food very average and tip was added to bill and felt embarrassed to ask them to remove it even though service was poor. So all in all, not very happy.

Very good, varied menu with vegetarian and vegan options. Food well presented. Staff welcoming, friendly and professional.

Because we sat outside we had to order food and drinks at the bar. Not great. Especially when you run out of drinks in the middle of the meal and have to queue up, leaving your meal to go cold. Why no table service outside? Really poor. And the parsnips weren't cooked. Otherwise okay.

Table service for drinks was poor due to the bar being so busy. Had to send my meal back due to my steak being massively overcooked or really poor meat cut. However, it was dealt with exceptionally well and the replacement was perfect! Been a few times and always loved the food.

I visit this restaurant often & to date Ive never been disappointed with either the food or the service. Great breakfast today

First visit today and won’t be going back. Waited over an hour for our meal. The food was average when it arrived. The only good thing was the coffee which also took a lot longer than it should but was good.

It was our 11th Anniversary, we were greeted with a complimentary prosecco which was a lovely touch and made us feel special. The food was good all around, amazing prawn starter. For our mains, I had the 4 plate 'tapas bar snacks' which was lovely. My partner had steak which was lovely, her chips were slightly under cooked which was remedied shortly after - not a problem at all.

Everything food wise was excellent but service, not being bad, could have been a little better. It won’t stop us going back though.

Great food, atmosphere and service ! Lunchtime get together with old friends. Ordered from the lunch menu: Two courses for £19.95 ! Low price, high quality! Lovely Pinot Blush at £21 the bottle! Highly recommended ! 👌

My 2 sisters and I ate at Georges after a visit to RHS Worsley. We are not locals so have never been before. We were there for 2 hours from 4.30pm and can confirm we enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious and good value; the staff were attentive without being a mither and the venue itself was nicely decorated with a good ambiance. Happy to recommend and would eat there again.

I visited with 2 friends for lunch head the pancake starter, which looked like a Spanish omelet when it arrived, but they said it tasted very nice. I had the ham terrine, which arrived in breadcrumbs. This tasted nice. We all had the salmon for the main course,which was beautifully cooked. Two of us had the rhubarb and apple crumble which came with ginger ice cream. However, the ice cream looked more like vanilla ice cream, and we could not taste any ginger. Service was good and the staff were pleasant.

Lovely food served hot and in great time .. lovely mannered staff , no problem for anything we asked for .. will book again with a number of friends for a roast on sunday which has always been good ..

We had a lovely lunch with our granddaughter, lots of choice from both the a la carte and the fixed price menus. The gambas al pil pil and the carrot and coriander soup were really tasty, as were the fish pie, the salmon and the belly pork. 2 of us also indulged in dessert with plum pie and vanilla ice cream and blueberry cheesecake with orange sorbet. The food was great and service excellent, each of the servers were friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the good and drink. Overall a really good experience.

Food was lovely. Waited 25 mins to order a drink. Waited 40 mins to order food. Never got asked if we would like another drink. Never got to the point of asking for desserts as our glasses were empty (and had been for a while) so decided to just leave. Never been for a meal and only had one glass of wine🤷🏽‍♀️ Doesn’t make good business sense to me! Sad really as it’s a lovely place and the bar side was rocking with the live music!

The staff managed to get an additional 2 guests at short notice which was great. The food was ok, but did take a while between courses. Over charged for a few drinks but staff did amend the bill.

As always George's was absolutely amazing, food was delicious as ever. Was served extremely quickly. Overall amazing experience.

Always a pleasant evening. It was quiet tonight so no rush and plenty of time to talk.

Food was great but the service was poor, we had to ask to order, ask for our meals, remind them for the bill, presented with food telling us what it wasn't not what the dish was, shoulders shrugged when we said the candle wasn't lit....

Despite being in room upstairs service was attentive. Server knew the menu and checked re:rapeseed oil intolerance. However we suspect it was in the horseradish, although not a listed intolerance would have been good that you knew. Overall very very good service good. Only downside was while waiting at the bar we saw the chef put his finger in the sauce, lick it, return finger to the sauce and lick it again. If he’s doing to do that probably best not in front of the customer window……..
