Poor menu choices. Mainly pub type meals (a pie, liver, fish and chips , burger )or odd combinations and sold out of steaks and pork. Really struggled picking a meal I wanted. Very slow on the drinks service too. Previously been a good choice but current menu is a fail for me.

It was probably 1/3 full and we eat at 19.30, however, they had run out of the prawns on a Saturday night which was disappointing.

Two meals were good, two meals were poor. Filo pastry on chicken leek pie was hard! Ambience was spoiled by excessive noise from the bar area which was infiltrated by groups of football fans. Not the experience we had hoped for in a restaurant! We will be looking at booking Alberts in future unless things change!

Food is delicious, service great. We are definitely coming back!

All the staff that approached us were very polite and professional. This was my first visit and was unimpressed to be approached and asked for our first drinks orders 3 times! I expected better communication from a place that I have heard so much about. Additionally, as my friend and I were chatting away, we couldn’t understand why there was a big puddle under one of our mocktails and the glass half empty buy we hadn’t spilled it. There was a crack down the side. I let the staff know and they immediately offered a replacement but I was not happy to see that I had been charged for 2 when the bill arrived. Overall the food was nice but I’m disappointed with the service received.

The food was very nice, the wait staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, not everything we ordered came at the same time and one side dish arrived when we'd finished eating! This is not the first time there have been hiccups of this nature for us so, although I did enjoy the food and the atmosphere, I don't think we'll be going again. It's such a shame.

We visited the RHS Bridgewater garden in Worsley and wanted a nice sit down meal afterwards and we were very happy we decided to try George’s. The food was fantastic! I am vegetarian and I tried the cauliflower lasagne and it very tasty! The chef was kind enough to hand write me the recipe so I could have a go at making it at home. Such a lovely thing to do! My sister had the lamb shank and she said it was delicious. Will absolutely be going again.

Lovely venue and pleasant helpful staff. Food ok but could be better. Roast beef dinner was nice but roast potatoes and parsnips were tough so left them. Eton mess was almost all cream, barely any meringue or raspberries so would not choose again. May call for a drink and snack next time but not dinner . Shame

Drinks and food service was incredibly slow. Staff had no idea of the dishes on the menu, and couldn’t help with any questions asked. Wine chosen from the wine list was not available. Quite disappointing overall.

Food was amazing, venue was lovely. Staff weren’t particularly welcoming though. We had to ask to order food as no one came to take our order, and no one came to give us the bill at the end after waiting quite a while, so we had to go to the desk to pay. Disappointing as I’d heard such good things about the restaurant and with it being a quiet Monday afternoon you would have expected better service.

The best restraunt in the Salford area. Would go again.
