Excellent meal and service was really good, could not fault it.

Strange as the first time in a restaurant since before lockdown. The staff were very well prepared sanitising stations and one way system in place. Felt safe and looked after by the team

Food and service were fantastic. Lights are too bright for a romantic meal. Could be dimmed to avoid the Spanish Inquisition status. Overall, amazing meal, fantastic service, but wouldn’t come back as I felt as though I was in ‘the spotlight’. It’s a shame. X

First time at George’s for me and my husband, last night at 8pm, the food was good overall, and the service, however the service slowed down due to a massive party of about 20 people coming in at about 9pm. This kind of ruined the ambience of the restaurant as they were very loud and you couldn’t hear much other than them all laughing, and one woman in particular with an extremely loud monotone voice felt the need to shout over everyone, she never shut up, hence us moving swiftly into the bar after our meal. Overall though we had a nice meal but shame we felt rushed at the end for respite from that woman’s awful voice. Not George’s fault I know but ruined our first experience.

We both had a roast, one Roast Ham and the other Roast beef. Looked and tasted absolutely delicious as always, consistently great.

Me, my husband and 2 friends made reservations for Sunday lunch. We had the 2 course special. I thought the starter was very small, but still tasty. We all enjoyed the dinner. The staff were very professional and attentive. Will definitely be dining here again.

Great evening with good food. The staff were attentive, but not intrusive There was live music, but to be honest we were to busy laughing and chatting to fully appreciate it. Thanks George's for hosting our evening.

Great food although the service was the slowest we’ve ever experienced. In the end we called a waitress over so we could pay the bill. She was very apologetic but we shouldn’t need to ask to pay a bill!

We had a lovely afternoon at George's. We all ordered food from the early bird menu, which had a good variety to select from. Our food was excellent, staff were friendly & attentive when needed but not intrusive. Our waitress was knowledgeable & happy to answer questions. I will definately recommend George's to family & friends.
