I was quite disappointed with the food as it was quite salty and didn't meet the high standards I was expecting from a restaurant of this caliber.

really fabulous meat. It's all quite expensive but the meat is definitely worth it. The wine list is varied .... but expensive! You are paying for the area but the waiters are friendly, and the food is really good. My only quibble was that we were initially seated too near the kitchen and there was quite a strong smell -- but we were accommodated easily at another table. We didn't have starters, but they looked lovely. Worth a visit for the meat alone.

Made a reservation for 18:00, front of house decided to seat me next to a party of 6 despite an abundance of space! (I politely suggested to be sat in an area of more space) I was asked whether I wanted a drink, “tap water” was my response. 12 mins pass and I finally get noticed by the waiter who was looking after 3 tables in his section. He asks me whether I am ready to order: yes if someone would bring me the food/drink menu! Would I like a drink? Yes the glass of tap water please, would be great if you could bring also bring me the wine menu. Food & drink order is taken! Food & drink is brought. By this point I am frustrated with waiting and others getting served in advance and out of sequence.I politely decline dessert & coffee which I would normally have. I have been to busier restaurants who have managed to deliver a far better customer experience. Disappointing!

Excellent steaks and appetising humitas, accompanied by very more-ish Argentine pinot noir.

Lovely starters - tuna ceviche and scallops (not quite melt in your mouth though ). Steaks ( fillet and spiral rib eye cut ) cooked perfectly. Only disappointment the desert. A Don Pedro is icecream blended w nuts and a big glug of whiskey or khalua. This apparently has rum, but tasted and looked like a kids vanilla icecream scoop with sprinkles nuts! Enjoyed the evening with excellent waiter service!

Me and the wife had a great night good food great service will defiantly be coming back again. was well worth the money looking forward to next time

Food, very delicious, my Picaña was succulent and tender as it should be, service very good, our waiter was brilliant!! The place itself, music a bit to loud and depending where you seat you may not enjoy the smoke coming from the kitchen but I definitely recommend 👍🏻

Been here before , never a bad experience but today was top drawer. Great staff, steak and chips but at another level, waiters choice for wine was perfect and surprisingly good value , we left an extra tip on top of the standard

We all had a great night, Excellent steak (400g rib eye rare), very good service and lovely restaurant. Would recommend and will be going back again.

Good for red meatlovers. Just beef! Grill works for fish as well and mixture of smell is a bit problem if you want a fresh environment. If you like/eat fish, menu is limited. I would not anyway recommend eating fish and red meat at the same time, if you want a for a healthy digestion system. Red wines are nice. Ambience is too dark like a night club. Quite kitsch for a grill place. Attentive and quality staff.

The food and the service were fabulous. It’s unfortunate that my seat was so uncomfortable for the duration of the meal. My guests for the evening were extremely impressed. Thank you to all the staff.

When we entered the restaurant we were greeted by friendly professional members of the team. I would throughly recommend you try one, great service. All the steaks were cooked to how we ordered them. Awesome !!

Decent food, a little bit style over substance in some places (a fanfare over having my coat ready for me when I was just going to the loo, I was a bit early so instead of sending me to the lounge was asked to wait by a closed dirty bar with people hoovering. However food was good, and service to the table was good.

it was my first time at Gaucho and it was worth the wait. I was part of a group of 6, but everyone LOVED their order apart from someone who went for a burger instead of a steak! I will definitely visit again! Some of the staff were not as friendly but not rude either.
