Food was great as always. Many thanks for a lovely meal.

It was our first time and we ended really disappointed, we only had a burger and some chicken and i can say that it was so dry that I couldn’t even finish it. The drinks and the service in general were ok, but just ok. At the end we had a bill of £80 for a dry chicken , a dead burger and glass of wine. I do not recommend this place at all

The meal was ok however the starter of scallops was practically cold. I personally put this down to it being left on the side with the staff focusing only on the guests in the ‘glass room’. Who were obviously more important than a mere mother and child having tea our. Even though we spent just under a hundred pounds. Everyone should be given the same attention regardless of perceived status.

Absolutely amazing The steak had me salivating. Excellent service, our waitress Gabrielle was so attentive. Thoroughly recommended, completely faultless!

Fabulous food, service & atmosphere will return again very soon.

Fantastic service from all staff - from arrival - Alex was our sever & he was very attentive without being too much and had super knowledge of the menu. The food was amazing, my only criticism would be the presentation of my steak... literally a sirloin steak on a plate, I know you pay extra for sides but a small veg medley/salad (I chose chips to accompany) would of been nice & looked more presentable on the plate. Will definitely return, the Argentinian sparkling wine was lovely.

Good welcome from reception then into our waiter who was very polite friendly efficient . Food was superb wine n drinks although somewhat overpriced but great place and atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon.

Been several times and this was the worst one yet. Food was nice but little things didn’t make the experience as amazing as it has been. They had very little choice of wine available at a reasonable price, they only seemed to have expensive wine. The bread came after starters, they charged for swapping the chips for mash, which I think when your spending that much money is disgusting. They have never done that before. The steaks were different to we have had before even though we ordered the same thing. Just feel like it has gone down hill slightly.

Gaucho was recommended by a friend as having steaks that melts in your mouth. Not disappointed.

Upon arrival and seating, we found the adjacent parties (mid-afternoon) to be extremely loud, making conversation between the three of us quite difficult. We raised this concern with our wait staff and were moved a few tables away which greatly helped. Thanks for their accommodation! The food was great.

we had a really good evening, all guests chose different dishes and everyone really enjoyed their meal.

service and ambience were very good - we were on a lunch break though and the food was a bit slow to be served, we only ordered a main course. Two of our party had to leave to get back to work immediately after they finished eating.

Superb food and excellent service a little expensive but worth every penny. The steak was the best I have ever had cooked to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble.

Absolutely loved the staff, my meal, the meet and greet, the service and the overall experience. So walked in they hung our coats up and charged my phone. Then had drinks at the bar really quick table service and splendid cocktails. Then taken to the table where they explained all about the wines and bought a meat tray over explained in detail the difference between each meats. Had a starter, main and desert all were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Service was incredible, happy, knowledgeable, friendly chatty, professional staff. Perfect afternoon. Thank you gauchos

Overall a positive experience, good quality meat cooked to perfection. One minor criticism is that all cuts were roughly of the same thickness, and while a thick cut is suitable for rump, fillet and sirloin, rib-eye works better with a slightly thinner cut to allow the fat to melt a bit more. The restaurant should also replace steak knives as they were not really fit for purpose.

Overall experience was just average had waited a while to get a reservation and was disappointed to find it didn’t really live up to its recommendation. Felt very rushed from the moment we stepped in the restaurant and the steak was a let down just my opinion and I will not be returning

Excellent food and service, There are no windows in the restaurant, so it was a shame to be there on a sunny lunchtime, I’d go again in the evening or in winter!

A lovely decadent bank holiday lunch. Wonderful experience. Food outstanding and service very good. Would definitely recommend for a treat. Staff knew exactly what they were doing and happy to advise on both food and wine.

I booked a table for Saturday for 3 people at 1.30 which was accepted and confirmed. I then received a call from the restaurant that I could not book! Apparently they have an “electric brunch” disco with cocktails and French toast !!! Not my idea of lunch to be honest. I also did not like being told we could only “enjoy” this experience for two hours !!!
