Fabulous food in a relaxed atmosphere. A varied and exciting menu. Something for everyone. A wonderful way to have my birthday celebration. Looking forward to my next visit.

They know what they're doing. Revamped and atmosphere even better. One of the few food pubs that you can still get a good pint without being made to feel awkward without eating but when you do eat the food is excellent. The steak was delicious and absolutely no fat or gristle left and the chips are as good as I make at home

Lovely friendly pub, we were short for time do phoned our order through and it was ready when we got there. nice food, and quite generous portions. The staff were friendly and polite too.

Food was really. Initially I said I was ok about where we were seated but on reflection to be put in the bar with the dog and kids was a bit if a disappointment, specially as I'd booked a few weeks in advance. It felt like we weren't regulars we were put in another area.

Terrific! We had the fish and chips. It tasted great. Received prompt service and great food. We will definitely be back there again. I highly recommend.

Great food, allways top quality! The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. I would recommend The Four Bells to anyone who wants good food.

Fantastic quick service and amazing food. Would highly recommend the faggots and the chocolate orange brownie was to die for. Welcoming atmosphere , will definitely be returning.

Overall very good, service was very good and food was of a good standard. On previous visits they provided an interesting vegetarian addition to their menu, unfortunately this has now reduced, hence the lower rating.

The food was well presented and tasty but unfortunately The pub little too noisy due to a large party of men on a nearby table.

A delicious Sunday meal, generous portions. Very helpful staff. We took our dog and she sat under the table in the bar area. We were very pleased with everything. Thank you.

An excellent meal. We had the Sunday Roast. Really enjoyed it very much. Fine drink. Lovely young lady waited on us. Very sweet. We will be back.

Lovely village location. Music too loud and spoiled the atmosphere a bit. There were. It really enough staff making service a little slow but the food was nice and the staff worked hard. Pretty good value for money

Table ready and waiting; staff very pleasant, welcoming, attention to detail: waiter noticed cutlery missing without having to ask. Food enjoyable. Would eat there again.

Once again an excellent evening meal in a very welcoming pub. Staff are excellent and food is always of an excellent standard. We have now been here 3 times in the past month and always the staff are more than happy and welcoming even when incredibly busy.

Visited for lunch on Wednesday 17th May 2017 and evening meal on Monday 5th June 2017. Lovely venue, great atmosphere! Excellent menu choices and variable prices. Good sized portions served by pleasant and competent staff. Well-stocked bar. Easy to book a table on-line. Plenty of parking. It's the ideal place for lunch or dinner and I have no hesitation in recommending it!

Nice pub with a good atmosphere, would definitely return. The menu is not large but covers most of the bases, the beer is good but the wine list is confusing.

Excellent village pub with a good choice of menu t retaining the pub atmosphere. And Woodborough is lovely in a summer evening if it's not raining.

The food was good and well presented, with generous portion sizes. Service was good, with a smile and happy to answer any questions. Prices were very reasonable. Very pleased with Four Bells for a family meal.

Sunday roast was lovely I had the lamb, husband had the belly pork both were delicious. Vegetables were well cooked, would have liked the roast potatoes to be a little more roasted but overall it was a great experience and we would definitely eat there again

wonderful selection of food on the menu and great service. Beef croquettes were lovely and the slaw complemented it beautifully. We both had beef Sunday mains and puddings and are totally stuffed but in a great way!

Excellent food and service good atmosphere nothing was too much trouble.. the portion sizes were generous. Very impressed. Have already book on the mussel night on the 28th June can't wait.

The food was delicious however all dishes came out a little cold. Two people had theirs re-heated but 2 were too hungry to stop and wait, but was still delicious. The toilets were a little grubby, -a woven basket on the floor for used hand towels doesn't look neat or hygienic- also the baby mat is to be used on the floor and this doesn't look at all nice. Everywhere else is cleaned and decorated to a high standard and this let it down a little. Otherwise, fab!

Didn't like the decor; music too loud, my meal was ok but my wife didn't like hers. Staff friendly enough but will not be going again.

The Four Bells at Woodborough bank holiday Monday, 29th May. Very busy and yet the service was excellent. Our waitress couldn't do enough for us. The 8oz pork ribeye with blackpudding mash and creamy spinach was just amazing. That followed by the triple chocolate cheesecake rounded off a really fabulous meal with family. We've been there at least 6 times and I cannot fault it for excellent food and fabulous service.

Fab food, fab place, great servcie, massive hangover. A perfect night. Definitely worth a trip if you've not been, and an added bonus of buying some of eggy Pete's eggs on the bar

Good selection of dishes available, mussels night so limited to mussel recipies, but still 6 choices. Busy and dog friendly pup with a village atmosphere.

Very happy..delicious meal and great service despite being very busy. The meal was the tastiest I've had in a long time, there was a good range of gluten free options and while it wasn't the cheapest, it was worth the money. We will definitely be returning :-)

Really lovely decor, staff were nice but a little inattentive at times (they were quite busy though, so understandable). Was served a coffee in a glass with no handle which was a bit strange as obviously it was a hot bevarage... Food was nice!

Busy pub, food wise; staff very friendly and service good. Lovely menu, very nicely cooked. Game Rogan Josh with venison, pheasant and pigeon a new one on me, but tasted very good. Well recommended

Really great food and very friendly staff. They do a great Sunday dinner and would definitely recommend the roast beef or the pork belly .

Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Good polite service and great food. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. We were given time to have a drink beforehand and were not rushed at all. Good varied menu

We rate this venue very highly, just for a quick drink, or to eat and relax in a boisterous atmosphere. Tonight we were eating, we both chose dishes from the specials board, they didn't disappoint, I have a good appetite but I could not finish the faggots with black pudding mash, it was fantastic, I plan to cook this one at home! Good wine choice, cask ales, great food, nothing to dislike here, we will be back, very soon!

We went for a birthday meal for my daughter. The food we had was lovely as usual. We can't fault it. Even got a free bottle of birthday wine

Possibly the best burger I've ever had - absolutely delicious with great beers to boot! The Lunchtime menu was exceptional value at £7 for burger and hand cut chips. Delicious!

This pub is dog friendly and has water bowls and treats available. The service was great, everyone was very helpful and friendly. The food was nice, I have the veggie burger and would recommend it.

Very nice pub, good food and friendly service. Good for families with a little play area and a village park just outside. Highly recommend it.

Lovely atmosphere great location but seemed a little under staffed plus whilst the food was very nice and freshly made, the whole dinner was only warm. This said would definitely go again and would recommend to anyone.

Really nice and cute inside seating outside was nice small Sunday menu but everything just looked so nice nut roast was great fish and chips awesome beef a little fatty but still really nice definitely will be going again!

Decent Sunday lunch again. Beef and veg cooked as I like them. Great Yorkshire's Wife is dairy intolerant so trying to find something for her was a challenge. Maybe need to improve menu on that side. Nice little play area outside for the kids Cheers

Meal wasn't particularly good. Only frozen peas for the veg which was disappointing. Starter and main meal both dry and needed something to make them more interesting and tasty.
