Four Bells Inn

Another excellent meal from the team at the Four Bells at Woodborough - and fine beer too! I don't visit very often but it's always good when I do.

Nice old pub, interior décor and lighting modern and gives a good atmosphere, well received, friendly landlord. It was rather quiet, but then it was early on a Monday. Food was hot and very tasty.

Excellent every time! Food fantastic, great staff and atmosphere, bonfire party too, so well organised to say how busy it was, thank you once again!

Overall very good - food was well presented, well organised and we were not waiting long. Staff were very positive and lots of smiles etc. Nice location out in the sticks and the price was good for the four of us. Overall good experience. We would go there again to try their Christmas meals.

Really lovely steaks and handmade chips. Banoffee pie to die for and good atmosphere. I love this place and recommend it.The playground is great for kids whilst waiting for food.

Fantastic, quick service and great food. Staff were very polite and helpful. To cap it all we were back in time for Bake Off although with a dent in our appetites.

Amazing food loved the pub so friendly staff were great will be going back for more will definitely telling friends about this gem of a pub 5stars

As always, The Four Bells provided excellent food and wine, but more importantly it’s superb staff and service are never short of perfect. Bravo, Four Bells!

We have been going to The Four Bells for years now as one of our favourites for a family meal out with friends and relatives and it always lives up to our expectations.

Decent enough food, not the most attentive staff especially given as it wasn’t very busy. Nice environment. I have to put more words in so...wheelbarrow.

Fab food and service. Red hot food and great atmosphere . Will definitely return again soon with my other family and friends . Very impressed

Very busy today so service was slow but worth waiting for the food. Chefs made us vegan food which was delicious. Helpful staff as always.

Very friendly pub to say we were not locals. Great decor and very clean. Made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Drinks and food orders were quickly taken and food arrived quickly and nicely presented. Staff could not do enough for us even brought colouring books and pencils. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Excellent food, well served by attentive - but not intrusive - staff. The portions were well sized and all four of us were served simultaneously and in good time. The venue is obviously well organised. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Unfortunately my husbands fish was over cooked. We mentioned it to the waiter and he brought out a fresh one but that was slightly under cooked! Shame really as we've always had lovely meals there.

As ever, great customer service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere and good value. My favourite place to eat ( and love that its dog and everything friendly!)

Great evening in a small village pub which has recently been updated. The food as usual was good, atmosphere 'buzzy'. The prices aren't cheap but the quality of the food is excellent

Excellent food and a lovely place, but I had to ask for desserts/coffees at the bar as no one came to take out plates away. Generally a really great place though, will definitely return.

Lovely decor, smiley waitress, veg cooked just right (so many places over cook the veg). £3.70 for orange and lemonade is too much though, otherwise very nice.

The Food and service was fantastic. Lots of choice and well presented on the plate. All home cooked and tasted amazing, piping hot too. The atmosphere and decor was good. Will definitely go back!

Good food but a little noisy tonight. The service was very good and we enjoyed the food. Well done to the staff and the kitchen staff.

This is sadly the 2nd visit where we haven't been satisfied in a matter of weeks, the first time, our burgers were frozen in the middle, they came back re-heated but still not hot, luckily they were the veggie option so not meat. The 2nd time, last Saturday it took us about 20 minutes to even get served, we had to go to the bar to ask and sadly, our meals arrived which were wrong, all in all this took over an hour from the time we arrived, we didn't really enjoy our meal as by the time it arrived, it was too late for is, I admit it was busy but no excuse really....

Very popular and so very busy when we went. Our table was not ready as the people before us ran over time, so we were put on a table further away from the bar. Worked out well as the noise level was better there! Staff harassed but very attentive.Food was excellent. The presentation could have been a little more thoughtful though. They like to serve on wooden boards and flat shallow plates, not good if you're having custards or sauces!! I got a delicious brownie and ice cream in a bowl but another diner had sticky toffee pudding on a slate with a jug of custard to pour over - made it entertaining watching her build a little sponge fort in order to apply her custard without it escaping all over the table!! It was all delicious though- we'll keep coming here.

Good food staff a bit rushed. Would recommend. Nice sourroundings dog friendly which is great for us as we have to cockapoos Local and a well frequented pub

Great place for family Sunday lunch...range of roast dinner options, all served with huge Yorkshire puds We go regularly and the food and service is always consistently 😊 good

Lovely food and good service, apart from the waitress forgetting to put through our order resulting in a lengthy delay. However this was promptly dealt with by the manager who apologised and gave us a free bottle of wine, so all in all a very enjoyable experience with good food in nice surroundings

Too many noisy kids allowed to run around unfortunately. Good was good though as always and waiting staff were good as was the guy who showed us our table

The Four Bells has always been a lovely pub. The staff were very helpful and the food was satisfactory however the venue lacked atmosphere due to the fact that there were only a few customers.

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff tonight and good food. Quite busy on this Saturday night, busiest we've ever seen it but still got served promptly and food came in good time. Really enjoyed it, will be back again.

Lovely pub, the food was really good and the roast beef gorgeous! The staff are really friendly and there is a fab outdoor area for the kids too.

Excellent country pub, service was superb and food outstanding. We visited for a family birthday lunch and had a marvellous time, would highly recommended it and look forward to returning.

We dined at 8:30 on a Saturday so some items that we really fancied were no longer available but what we did choose was very good and very good service, thank you

Didn't have everything to offer on the menu. Friendly pub. Polite staff. Great outdoors for the kids. Nice atmosphere. Didn't have to wait long for food, great service.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The food was excellent as was the beer! The staff were helpful, friendly and very polite. We all said that we would definitely go to The Four Bells again.

We had the Sunday roast. Everything was very tasty. We prebooked online and our table was ready and n a good position when we arrived. Lovely pub and well decorated. Staff were helpful.

First class food different from normal pub food ,lovely friendly pub, staff very helpful and pleasant Would throughly recommends visit to the Four Bells Inn.

we ordered four fish and chips and one ploughman's lunch. all were excellent meals. Drinks were great and service was top notch. we will definitely be back.
