we reserved a table which is advisable, busy restaurant, had a lovely meal , staff very helpfully ,would recommend to friends. Will worth trying . Very enjoyable evening in Lichfield after woods .

Been to this restaurant on several occasions now and have had delivery too. The food has been incredible each time and I highly recommend this place.

Really nice food, nice atmosphire. I suggest the plater starter to share, its a great start and the selection is much more than we expectewd.

The food is of a consistently high quality and there is a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for a good evening out in Lichfield, we will go back there soon.

Beautiful food, attentive staff and the goat curry is an absolute must!!

Sadly our visit was marred by the overbearing attitude of the owner/manager who was insistent on 'advising' us on our choices and telling how he had been unsuccessful in a previous restaurant in Cannock ' because of the sort of people' who live there. (That's where we live!) The service was redeemed by the other staff who were excellent. The food was good but certainly not great. Not sufficiently so to justify the higher prices compared to other Indian restaurants - some particularly good ones in Cannock......sadly we wont be returning.

Had an enjoyable Saturday evening meal, we arrived a little early and had to wait for our table, whilst waiting we were offered drinks which was nice. Once seated the service was a little slow but restaurant was busy so no problem, very friendly staff and very good food, would definitely recommend

My partner and I were very happy with the dining experience, the food was really lovely. However, we were slightly disappointed because we had pre booked a table, but were left sitting in the waiting area waiting for a table for nearly half an hour past the time of our booking.

Very busy and our table wasn't ready - had to wait for 10 minutes crammed in the entrance space. I have had better evenings there and wouldn't go again on a Saturday night. Food was good, when it arrived, although there was a bit of a wait. Definitely recommended but not on a Saturday after a 6 nations match!

The service was good. The curry was OK, but nothing special really. There was a burnt garlic taste which was off putting. I would go back, but not rush to do so.

We return for the delicious food and the prompt, attentive and generally excellent service. Indian restaurant of choice simply for the quality and authentic food.

Good food complemented with good timely service. The portion sizes were more than accommodating too. Can't ask for more than that. Recommend for anyone wishing to sample flavoursome food

the food is very good always plenty of choice and will add/alter dishes if they can. the service is always good and a good atmosphere

We visited Eastern Eye in Lichfield on New Years Eve as the owners had kept to the standard 'open' menu instead of fixed menu. The restaurant was very busy. However, the food was amazing, the staff were friendly and attentive and overall we had a really enjoyable visit. We will certainly be returning and would highly recommend.

Excellent starter and main course, unable to manage a sweet, excellent advice and service, we will return without hesitation. Excellent choice of wines and beers, nice surroundings and very relaxed atmosphere.

Great food lovely staff highly recommend. Went for my daughters birthday they really looked after us and gave me some spices to cook my own curry

We eat here when the craving for a good very good Indian meal is required this is not one of your run of the mill restaurants as the service and food are great even on the busy nights.

My first visit to this restaurant was a very pleasing experience. Attentive staff and lovely food. The combination is a great idea and something I'd not seen before. Pleased I booked in advance as the popularity of this restaurant would have meant waiting for a table otherwise. Will certainly visit again.

Excellent food, Abdul & his staff are very helpful & friendly. 1st class food & menu diversity. Only downside was we booked a table & had to wait over 20 mins to be seated, although to be fair they were exceptionally busy. I will come again & would recommend a Eastern Eye to anyone.

Booked for 830 but was not seated until 845. Starter was great but wifes main was brought out incorrect twice. Staff however were very helpfully & friendly & went out of their way to put things right. Will give another shot soon

Really lovely, tasty food. Lots of dishes I'd never heard of and will definitely going back to try some more! The special apricot lamb was wonderful - fruity and lightly spiced. This place definitely lived up to its reputation.

First curry in Lichfield since moving to the area. Thought that the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was great. Shall be returning!

Eastern Eye's reputation as #1 restaurant in Lichfield is well deserved. Welcoming and attentive service without being obtrusive. One of the finest menus I have had the pleasure to experience. If you appreciate Asian cuisine you will not be disappointed.

Always excellent food - fantastic very helpful - good flavours - meal before going to the theatre - very very spicy chicken dish for me and superb naan . love the food here
