Always good food and atmosphere. Not too busy tho, bearing in mind its Christmas

It was lunchtime and we were the only table. We were asked to move on at about 3pm so they could get ready for the evening; we had no idea it closed mid-afternoon!

Food was delicious, but service wasn't great - Slow, didn't bring us a drink we'd ordered and when we came to pay we asked to pay £20 each. I tapped my card without checking the screen, but when the waiter held it to my friend I noticed it said £25. He had also charged me £25!!! That would have been £50 for a £36 bill!! So glad I noticed. It was rectified by my friend paying £15. Very poor service.

Food was delicious. Staff very attentive and even though it was extremely busy we were served very quickly. Well done

Simple and well managed - good food - one meal in our group of four - overloaded with very hot green chillies, spoilt it, and no warning on the menu card.

I've just had a very memorable visit to the Dorking Brasserie...for all the RIGHT reasons! Food ,atmosphere,service and value for money ,were all great...but all the staff went an extra mile and made me and my party feel extra welcome...when they knew I was born in " Highland Cottage" 60 years ago, they allowed me the chance to revisit the room of my birth...a very special moment ,not many people get to experience.I can't thank them all enough .

This is a lovely cosy restuarant where the staff are polite and nothing is too much trouble if you venture slightly off the menu. A mix and match they will always do to suit your own taste buds. I like it when the staff are part of the furniture as to me it tells me that they enjoy what they do and confident in what they serve up. Well done to them all. The food is great and so is our cosy window seat. The Brasserie is not a new venue in Dorking and is great for family's and the lonesome diner and by that just a table for one. A great place.

Lovely evening meal… very quiet as England football was on…but very busy with deliveries. Staff are very friendly.

We dined here with friends last night, the food and service was excellent as always. The food is delicious and not over - priced. All in all a very pleasant evening.

Chicken byrani was plentiful and came with a nicely spiced curry. Also ordered sides of naan and chips. Presentation was very good

It was our first visit ! We were greeted by very polite staff given a choice of 3 tables.! Lovely food! Reasonably priced & discretionary tip.! Great dining experience.

Lovely food. Did feel a bit rushed, though. Plates were being cleared before everyone had finished eating. Relax with this, and it'll be a much better experience.

The mixed grill was well cooked and I loved the sizzle. Salad was fresh. We had a few side orders to share and couldn’t eat another thing at the end!

Great food. Good service but it was incredibly busy (Saturday night). The staff were friendly but a bit too keen to turn the tables round ready for the next guests. Felt a little bit rushed. It's the only Indian restaurant in walking distance in Dorking town centre
