Great place to eat and drink! Fantastic service! Thank you x
Had an amazing night, the food was amazing and the staff bent over backwards to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Highly recommended for a visit.
Would be lovely for cocktails but we were slightly disappointed as an evening meal. Loved the pitta and dips and service was very quick and friendly
This is an excellent little hidden gem - tapas was gorgeous and service was excellent. Staff made us feel so welcome and were very knowledgable.
I took my boyfriend here for his 21st birthday as I knew it would be right up his street. We weren't disappointed, in fact we were really impressed by the attentive and friendly staff who were really helpful and easy to talk to. The food was extremely tasty, we had 4 tapas dishes which we both thought were some of the best tapas we'd eaten as well as a meat sharing board and patatas bravas. Overall I'd definitely recommend Distrikt as it had a great atmosphere, excellent food and really great staff!
Small, quirky, basement restaurant. We had booked a table, which I would recommend as it gets quite busy. There was a delay with our food order so we were given some nibbles, gratis, which were delicious. The kitchen staff appeared to struggle a little with the amount of orders and hadn't kept track of our order. We were in the process of paying the bill when our final dish was brought to us. By then we were full and the waitress apologised and simply removed the item from the bill. Overall, very good tapas style food and reasonable price. Staff friendly, though very busy. Would definitely eat there again or recommend to friends.
The BEST service ever experienced with wonderful tapas food, can't believe I've only discovered this place, a new favorite. Thanks to all for our fab night
Food was great, cooked fresh and very tasty. Nice intimate setting and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We will definately be going back😀
Atmosphere brilliant, service friendly and fast except for the replacement drink we were waiting for never came and we had to go chase it after 20 minutes. Lighting created a lovely ambience however, it is a little too dark to be able to read the menus. Not sure how you could resolve that though Other than that, fab evening.
Went out of our usual comfort zone and the type of place we would normally choose to eat found this a very welcoming place to visit and the food was excellent, thank you for a very pleasant surprise and great meal
We went on a Wednesday for the 2-4-1 tapas offer. As the place was quite busy and the food would be coming slowly had he gone for that, the waitress recommended getting a set menu for 10 pounds which was actually great value for money and we enjoyed it a lot!
Good but a bit quiet ar lunchtime food pretty good for the price. Location hard to find at lunchtime as it is located up a dingy ginnel
The restaurant was very quiet, which I liked - the waiter was attentive (probably because we were the only ones in there!). We ordered 6 dishes between two people; the menu isn't as expensive as other tapas places in Leeds, but the choice was quite varied and everything sounded nice. The dishes didn't come out together which was disappointing, there was a good 5 minute wait for the last two dishes. The food was nice, but the dishes were very small compared to other tapas restaurants in Leeds. I was still hungry after the meal, and asked for a dessert menu, only to be told that they didn't have any desserts on the menu that evening which was very disappointing; however they offered to make some balsamic strawberries, to which I declined. The food was nice but overall a slight disappointment!
Went here for my husbands birthday, the Food was average, not what I expected from viewing their website where it states award winning tapas. Very disappointed will not return.
Great drinks, good food - would recommend to others. Try the apricot cosmo and the lamb kofta; absolutely gorgeous. And half price tapas Wednesday - why wouldn't you?
Loved the food and the vibe of the place. A little hard to find since its down an alley and if you're not looking for it you won't see it
Cool bar, good music and fantastic service! However, although the food was ok, it predominantly lacked flavour. A lack of seasoning relegated most of the dishes we had to 'ordinary'. We will go back to the bar but are unlikely to eat.
Lovely atmosphere and staff very attentive . Only issue was the lamb chops were a little tough but other than that the food was great as always.
Really good atmosphere, more an underground bar with a relaxed vibe than a restaurant. The food was fantastic though and the service excellent, would strongly recommend.
Top food, great tunes. Staff nice and friendly. Let down by over zealous door staff though....decided to refuse my mate back in after going outside for a cigarette!! Spoilt a good birthday celebration night out. Would have given a mark of 5 otherwise.
The food and service was excellent. Our waitress could not have been more attentive and friendly and every tapas dish was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend Distrikt!
Good food, service and worth a try. We tried mussels, chicken wings, lamb kofta and ribs: all were very tasty albeit the bread wasn't quite fresh. All in all, an enjoyable lunch.
Atmosphere very good, arrived at 1700 earliest you can book, not busy but soon warmed up - staff attentive - food moderate - muscles gritty / ribs superb - would go again though !!
Staff very attentive without been in our space, food excellent and not rushed and special offers given to us without being asked. All in all a great visit, will return.
An excellent evening. The staff were a pleasure. Food lovely and the cocktails divine. The music and ambience made for a great evening out. 5 stars
Best Tapas in Leeds :-) Wine is Fab and the Perisian Mojhito's are the best I have tasted !! Cant wait to go back again !!
although the furniture looked tired, it is obvious that it is because it's a very busy venue. The staff are very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the drinks and food was top notch. Gents toilet need a bit of tlc but all in all loved it
Great service, great atmosphere, great food! Lovely night out, highly recommended for s relaxed evening out in Leeds. Staff were excellent, well worth a visit.
Great meal. Delicious food, excellent service and cocktails to die for all for a very reasonable price. We will most definitely be visiting again and will recommend to friends.
Excellent service, great food- pork ribs, beef ribs, halloumi, and lamb chops were cooked to perfection and in the 2 for 1 offer! Great value for money
The service was great and the food was even better. This is a good place if you want an slightly alternative atmosphere. Only downside is they ran out of arancini!
Very good service and lovely food. Good quality and value for money.
Booked a table for my friends birthday clearly stating I would be using my Taste card. When I arrived there were people drinking at the table and so they had to be moved on therefore not a great start. I advised the waitress that we had a tastecard so 2 for 1 on Tapas. Waitress advised we could only order a maximum of 4 dishes for the tastecard offer. Having ordered 4 different tapas when food arrived we only had 2 out of the 4 items but ended up with 3 other dishes we hadn't asked for. When I queried this the waitress said she thought we had asked for the taster menu??? I said I was gluten free so could eat some of the items but she didn't do anything to offer an alternative so the food was left. We ate the 2 items originally ordered but as it was my friends birthday I didn't want to cause a scene and ruin her night. When the bill came it was more than twice what it should have been. When I queried this the waitress apologised and said because the bar has an offer of happy hour drinks then the tastecard offer cannot be used in conjunction. Obviously I was not very happy as both at booking stage and ordering I was not advised this. As the bar was full and my friend was having a good night I reluctantly paid the bill however I will never go again as the service and customer interaction was abismal. I was truly ripped off. The only apology I was offered was a free shot! It turned out to be the most expensive shot of my life!!!!
Both the food and the drinks were great. It was a Saturday afternoon and quiet, so we enjoyed it very much. The prices were also reasonable.
Gorgeous food. Staff helped us order as we were unsure of portion sizes. Food came within enough time to be completely fresh. Absolutely lovely staff and service
Lovely food, but seated too close to a busy bar.
Six of us visited Distrikt on Saturday evening and ordered the group menu which is highly recommended. Delicious food and plenty of it! Many varied freshly prepared dishes. The service was exceptional - so friendly and helpful. The drinks were also fabulous- amazing cocktails! We all enjoyed it and will be returning.
Amazing food and cocktails. Super great service. Would definitely recommend. And will be returning in the not too distant future I hope. A great place with a great atmosphere. Many thanks.
Amazing food, service was fantastic and great atmosphere. We'll return.
Excellent food and excellent service, this is my favourite Thai restaurant in Leeds.
