Disappointed with Dimora tonight. I ordered the mixed fish and told the waiter under no circumstances to give me the calamari as I am allergic to it. When order arrived I ate what I thought was a prawn but to my surprise it was Calamari!!!! No apology from the waiter who took the order as he was obviously on his break sat at the door on his mobile. Surely a free meal wouldn’t have gone amiss!

Good food and service and good value, will go back.

We were a party of six adults trying to have a catch-up and a lovely meal but there was a children's birthday party upstairs and the noise levels were as if there were a hundred kids screaming and shouting all at the same time. We all have children and grandchildren and have attended numerous kids' parties but, in an Italian restaurant where other guests are trying to have a conversation and a meal, was bang out of order! The meal was first class and the staff were excellent just the noise levels were such that we couldn't hear ourselves speak!

The food was good and the waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive. They were cheerful and pleasant.

Dinner at my old family home, love what Dimora have done with my old house. Always lovely to visit , dinner was delicious & staff very attentive as always. Will definitely be back soon. Alison

The food was well cooked and presented ,but portions very small. I could have eaten the whole meal over again. Staff were attentive but not over eating .

Very nice visit and meal up to the dessert . My daughter ordered the cheese board which was supposed to include celery and walnuts . The cheeses we were offered were pecorino?, Parmesan, ricotta! A bit bizarre , cheeses usually used in cooking !

Had to cancel my appointment my mum not well and this was a birthday gift to her but I will be rebooking it in the near future

Food was as delicious as usual but service was a bit slow. There seemed to be a birthday party going on which may explain the delay between courses.Staff are always very friendly and helpful

Waited about 20 minutes to be seated after making a reservation. Good atmosphere and plenty of wait staff who were friendly. Menu was excellent and had plenty of favourites without being too standard. Boys had pizzas which disappeared entirely so must have been good! We had the prosecco risotto - could taste the saffron so excellent job with the balance of flavours. Would go back!

Excellent service, food and ambience. Great prices in lunch menu. Very family friendly. Only tip is to get more kids colouring items to keep the wee ones happy!

Very comfortable, I was there with my husband and daughter for lunch. The service was very good and the food was excellent. For my starter I had calamari which was the best I have ever tasted, it was so tender and tasty. We will definitely be back.

Lovely atmosphere. Quality of food was good, although not as good as our previous meal there (otherwise they would have scored a six). Service was relaxed, but would rather that than being rushed through the meal.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good food at very reasonable prices. What more could you want? Their House red, Castillo del Moro, was very good too, which isn't always the case with house wines.

Had a lovely meal at Volare. 3 delicious courses. Meatball starter, followed by a delicious Italian sausage pizza washed down with the house red. Perfect Italian meal. Not forgetting the tiramasu! 😀

as expected we had another lovely meal at volare, the food is always tasty and piping hot. Service is excellent and never obtrusive. The staff are always very friendly and ver accommodating of the 8 year child who is in our party. We will be back

Volare is a little jewel in Newton Mearns. Fantastic food, great choice and quality. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff are very attentive and friendly.

Great lunch and wonderful service. We all had the two course lunch deal, which is incredible value. The food was very well cooked and delicious!

Good menu choices. 6 of us booked for 2 special birthdays. I took up balloons earlier in the day which they had on our table. Our table was in the conservatory. Service was good. Food delicious. Couldn't fault it!!

Staff very friendly and not over bearing at all. Were there when we needed them but not constantly asking how things are. Lovely atmosphere and most importantly the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Two out of our party were satisfied with their food.The spicy leak soup was was so hot it was almost I edible ,despite the fact that I eat Madras curries.Th risotto had no seasoning ,far too creamy and tasteless. The other main course ,beef strips with pasta had two slices of tough beef and the pasta with tomato sauce tasted like Heinz tinned spaghetti.When the plates we're take away the waiter did not even enquire why so much was left on the plate.The prices are very reasonable ,but I am sure customers would rather pay more for better quality.However the Ministrone soup with the bread was lovely.

service very poor-slow and not apologetic food tasteless - breaded mushrooms thick and hard and drinks overpriced had to wait over 15 mins for menu

Food and everything fine apart from service a bit slow could have done with more staff on duty. We would happily go back there again.

Lovely meal Wine was good too! We went on a Tuesday evening and was just as good an atmosphere as it is when we go at the weekends.
