Lovely selection to cater for variety of tastes and dietary requirements.
Very good food and service. Mussels in the sun were brilliant
food and service good quality, need to book if you want to be sure of a table.
Met at Cote Brighton for a friends birthday. We all had a lovely time, food good, wine reasonable and staff helpful and friendly
Met up with some friends I worked with in London. They were very impressed with our Brighton Cote and we will go back when they come down again
A very pleasant experience. Good food and personable service. Great value.
Service much too slow.Quality of food not as good as previously.
pre theatre visit felt quite rushed so it wasn't a very relaxing experience
Basically we had a good evening with good quality food but it has to be said that service is nowhere near the excellent standard pre-Covid. It seems to me that there are not enough staff. We had to wait sometime before our order was taken and then it was a long wait for the food (and even the water and wine). The staff themselves are as pleasant and helpful as usual, although I was not impressed by our waiter asking us to fill in a questionnaire and pointedly giving us his name, no doubt for special mention. This poor level of service is not a one-off and Cote need to up their game in this respect.
Food was great as always. Thanks to the staff who sang my daughter happy birthday. Lovely touch! Was incredibly busy so we did need to remind our waiter of the wine order a couple of times but overall really, really good!
The food from the prix fixe menu was very good but the service was very, very slow. Côte's service always used to be excellent. Sadly this aspect of the restaurant is going downhill.
A good meal. Cote did seem to go through a bad patch but is recovering. Although pricier than before, still recommended.
Went to Cote Brighton Thursday 23rd March for birthday lunch. We were well looked after by Harri and Berren. Food good and wine still reasonable at £22.50. Birthday candle and Happy Birthday stencil in chocolate - nice touch!
Food passable , service fine - Côte dining experience are always a bit like the lottery..you never what you’ve going to get.
Lovely restaurent with friendly staff. As usual a delicious gluten free meal with many choices for me!
Brighton Côte is a great venue. The staff are welcoming, friendly and professional. Great food which cheered us up despite the monsoon conditions outside!
Nice cotes very busy near the theatre. We always like the pre theatre 🎭 menu.
Lovely meal taken outside watching the world go by. Service and food as good as ever
Despite restaurant being nearly empty the service was very slow. They got our order completely wrong, though did correct it without any fuss. Then the bill was wildly incorrect though the waitress noticed and immediately took it away and brought another. I am a regular at this restaurant and the experience was nowhere near what I have come to expect
We always enjoy visiting Cote Brighton. we especially like the gluten free menu
we always enjoy visiting Cote Brighton. Especially enjoy their gluten free menu
we always enjoy visiting Cote Brighton. Nice atmosphere. Great gluten free food
Food ok, tasty but slightly chewy steak frites. Service slightly chaotic. Still a great place to sit with a nice vibe.
Friendly service and food. Enjoyable evening with the family. Great
amazing as always. service and food both great. Thank you very much
Perfect visit. we had the cote de bouef and it was perfectly cooked. Thank you chefs
Thank you for the great service team. AMAZING AS USUAL
Not up to the usual standards I'm afraid, food came out lukewarm and had to be reheated
As always, we throughly enjoyed the food and ambiance, will be back soon.
Service here is always swift and a firm favourite for good food before a show. Lovely atmosphere considering it is always full. it's never too noisy to enjoy a conversation.
Bad service and poor food. The new menu and short wine list doesn’t help either.
Food was lovely as were the staff. However we chose from the fixed menu and 1 out of 4 starters were unavailable and 2 out of 4 desserts unavailable as they had sold out. This was at 5.30pm so slightly disappointed
Booking cancelled by restaurant at short notice due to gas problems. Second time this has happened
Lovely evening. Good value and atmosphere. Covid safe and attentive staff
excellent as always, great service under difficult circumstances, fast service
All ok they should bring back the deal that includes the drink
Well rather avoid. Employing kids or students results in terrible quality of services. Food is good indeed but we they deliver service is terrible experience. This place used to be vibrant place and my favourite Cote restaurant. These days developing to deliver fast food experience.
Always great food, seasonal menu and friendly, attentive staff. Never had a bad visit
Went to the Geoff Maccormack David Bowie Exhibition at Brighton Museum again this week before it finished. Had a late lunch at Cote Brighton. They had a new seasonal set menu Alpine Specials followed by a very good Espresso Martini. Great day out.
Always have a lovely meal here.. Great food lovely Staff
Dined at Cote Brighton on Friday with two friends down from London. We were really pleased with the food and service, especially Bartosz who really looked after us. The creme caramel was yummy!!
We went to see a show at Theatre Royal Brighton yesterday. Obvious nearby restaurant to eat at Cote! Had a very good late lunch, prices have increased a bit but still good value. Staff were very attentive and friendly.
We went to see the new James Bond film at The Komedia cinema on Thursday and just round the corner is Cote Brighton, our favourite restaurant. Great to eat there again and Jules, as always, made us feel really welcome.
The food was quite good, but not exceptional. The service was absolutely great, with lovely waiting staff, just the right tone and level of attention. Waiting times were good. The noise levels were too high, with several large birthday groups shouting at each other at their tables, which rather spoilt the experience.
Eight of us went to Cote Brighton for my sister's birthday yesterday 1st August. Jules and her team made us feel very welcome, we all had a lovely afternoon with good food and wine.
Lovely pre theatre meal. Great food and good service as always.
Menu a little more restrictive in the post could environment but still gives a good choice
Lovely evening sitting on the rear terrace in the sun enjoying the great food and service that Cote always provides
Visited the David Bowie exhibition in Brighton and what better place to go for lunch after, Cote of course. Great food and service.
We went to Cote Brighton last Friday for a friends belated birthday treat, which is always a good present as we get to enjoy the lunch as well! The service and food were great.
