A lovely haven in the midst of Christmas shopping. Good food, friendly service and we were not hurried to finish and move on. We have enjoyed meals here before and it has become our regular rendezvous when meeting friends in Winchester.

Excellent meal with very good service at a fair price. First time we had been to this particular Cote, but we will be back another day.

The food was excellent- the only reason I dropped a mark was due to the server forgetting to write down my Mum’s side order causing a delay when the rest of the food was served.

We are never disappointed at Cote Winchester, breakfast, lunch or dinner the staff are professional, attentive and welcoming. The consistency in the quality of the food is very much appreciated and at the end of our working week it’s great to kick back, relax and never feel under pressure between courses. The staff are very good at recognising you, remembering your preferences and do seem happy in their work, creating a great service, a comfortable atmosphere and all in all a pleasurable dining experience.

Although the restaurant was very, very busy, the service was fantastic and the food was perfect. We ate from the set lunch menu which is great value. We would definitely return.

The staff were welcoming and attentive and the service was very prompt. The standard of food was good too. Would go there again but am not a regular visitor to Winchester.

Absolutely delicious food. Lovely warm friendly atmosphere and very attentive staff who couldn't do enough for you. I have eaten here before and it still maintains a very high standard. I would recommend it to everyone

Service good but very slow. More staff needed at Christmas. Food good though. having Xmas lunch at Cote in salisbury so we'll see how they perform.

Always a lovely meal, the dining room is a beautiful setting. The staff are always polite and professional, the food is good value, and always good quality

The food was very good and the restaurant had a good atmosphere. Staff were good and attentive. Bit expensive. we do pay the service charge but it is a bit high.,

Very good food, very busy, Did get forgotten about a bit at the end of the meal, as they were winding down and had to ask for dessert menus as no one came to ask us if we wanted desert.

We started celebrating my birthday with a full English breakfast following the Cote "Formule". Excellent and the service was superb and and welcoming. What a treat and and an excellent way to start the day.

Third visit over three year period - still brilliant. Service and food excellent quality. The staff very welcoming, lovely atmosphere - cannot recommend highly enough.

Great food, friendly Staff and excellent location-easy to park, by public transport or taxi drop off. Would thoroughly recommend if you are local or visiting Winchester

The Winchester Côte Brasserie was great.We had vegetarian and English breakfast on the formule deal which was such great value. The food was lovely , the restaurant and service was perfect.

Very warm, welcoming staff, good food served with a smile; perfect place to start the weekend with breakfast. Our coffee arrives almost before we sit down!

We arrived 30 mins early but we were told that was no problem and took us to our table. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Always a treat to see a restaurant work as a team.

Lovely new restaurant, haven't been to that one before! However our waiter seemed to be judging us because we chose not to drink alcohol and actually made us feel a bit uncomfortable in his, what we presume was just meant to be friendly attitude. Other than that, quick service, great food as usual.

Pleasant service starters fine, a bit more lemon with the calamari would be good. However, green risotto which I have had before was so salty to make it totally spoiled. Husbands steak also overwhelmingly salted. We like seasoning but this was way over the top. Staff gave us a free water and glass of wine as an apology which was good but feedback to chef more important.

There is always a warm welcome here from a very friendly team. The service is always good. Something on the menu to suit everyone. Cote's crème caramel is yummy.

Good value, menu and atmosphere. I just don’t like service charge added on the bill. Let the customer decide on whether to leave a tip.

This is a lovely restaurant, great food, great staff BUT you need to think ahead about what you are going to wear! If you happen to be sat in the front near the door it can be freezing every time it is opened, if you sit near an A/C unit you can just freeze throughout your meal or like last night, they seem to turn the heating off to encourage people to leave. We left around 10.50, really not that late, 5 or 6 tables were still there, but it was just too cold to stay any longer!

Excellent menu and service and very easy to find. We had the Xmas menu that was very good value and very tasty. Close by the shops for a restful lunch!

Had a lovely pre Christmas Lunch with five friends! We chose from the fixed Christmas menu, excellent value and good selection of dishes. Service was great very friendly and helpful, an excellent lunch was had by all!

Cote, Winchester is consistently excellent in all respects - a warm welcome from staff, great choice of good value, high quality food which is cooked and served to a very high standard. Cannot find any faults, we always have an enjoyable meal there and will continue to dine there regularly in the future.

Very nice Onion soup. The Rissoto was not very good at all it has no real taste. The service staff were brilliant and very professional so no issues there at all.

Very enjoyable lunch with good food and attentive staff. The restaurant had a lovely and atmosphere and although busy we enjoyed good service from the beginning to the end of our lunch.

Service and location were excellent but all three steaks we had were not cooked as requested and this let down the good starter and dessert.

Excellent service as ever even though it was very busy. Round table was found for the 5 of us as requested. Someone had the langoustines in T Wells recently and they were very good. Today they looked rather mean - small, few, and lost on the plate. Maybe serve on smaller plates if it's a small portion. Main course hake was a little dry but everything else excellent. You make the best creme caramels in the business and I won over another devotee today!

We have been to Cote in Winchester many times before and our recent visit did not disappoint. Lovely meal, great atmosphere, friendly and competent staff. We'll be back again soon.

Quick, polite and friendly service. Food arrived quickly and was tasty. Children's portion size was small but good quality. Lots of choice on the desert menu.

Food and service fab as always. Down stairs in the window by front door was a bit chilly with the door being open pretty drafty!

The usual high quality meal at Cote. It was a little noisy but then it was Saturday evening, so there probably isn't much that can be done about that. Good service, delicious food.

Great food and service. Really enjoyed lunch especially the warm Roquefort salad. Lovely venue for Christmas meal. Can get a bit noisy though as no soft decor.
