Excellent food, wine and service - very good lunch at a reasonable price. Good location close to the centre of Winchester and pleasant atmosphere.. Thoroughly recommended.

Great service & fabulous food, as always. There was a good atmosphere, despite it being a Monday evening as quite a few people were taking advantage of the special offer of a set menu when you dine between 5 - 7pm

We regularly eat at Cote Winchester. It has a lovely atmosphere and we all enjoyed our meals. Good choice of wines too. Staff were very busy but we like leisurely meals.

Perfect in every way, love this restaurant! Great food, excellent service and lovely atmosphere. The salmon was particularly delicious and the crème caramel spot on!

Cote in Winchester is by far my favourite place to eat. I took my boyfriend there for his birthday meal last night (23/02) and the staff made it so lovely for him. A Complimentary drink and his pudding had HAPPY BIRTHDAY on it with a candle. The food was outstanding and we just absolutely loved it. I can't wait to come back for more quality food very soon.

Very good overall , but french beans as a side were not good quality. The waiter replaced them with no problem and took the cost off my bill- very good service. I will go again.

Great service today in Winchester. . Good set menu and there was a good selection of choice for starters and main courses both vegetarian ,meat and fish.

The food is always well cooked and very tasty with a good variety to suit all tastes, the staff always well dressed and very polite and attentive.

Extremely nice. On a cold Thursday night the restaurant was welcoming and the food delicious. Great service. The monkfish special is extremely good; I recommend it. Feels sort of French, which is nice

Got the steak frites and apple crumble with ice cream. Steak was cooked perfectly. Service was awesome as always. Very attentive. Enjoy going midweek and sitting in one of the booths.

The food was delicious, as always, and very reasonably priced, particularly with the early evening options. The staff were very attentive and good humoured. We love coming to Cote.

We had a party of club members and the waitress helped us to split the bill correctly. The lunch menu suited everyone. Good value. Good location for visiting the Law Courts.

Good midweek dinner here. Its a busy branch but we don't seem to have to wait for food any longer than normal. Good choice of autumn warmers - I particularly like the Boeuf Bourguignon.

A late lunch for us so I was looking forward to something hot to chase away the cold weather. We chose the set menu and were not disappointed.

Another good breakfast at Cote. When you know you are going to get a good hot breakfast here, its difficult to try anywhere else. Excellent!

Had a great lunch with a good choice from the set menu. Both food and service were top notch as usual. House white and red are not a compromise so you can enjoy them too.

An early dinner to take advantage of the set menu timings. Good choice of dishes and the usual friendly service. We are regulars but everyone seems to get the same warm welcome. Doesn't feel like a chain.

Breakfast at Cote Winchester is always great. Piping hot food served really fresh. Good bacon and sausages if you are a carnivore like me but plenty of choice if you are not or looking for something lighter.

Excellent food, ambience and service. A bit expensive but quality was good. This is a bigger Cote than most and makes it more roomy and interesting as a dining venue

The service was Good, the waiter was very friendly. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The food was tasty although it wasn't quite a big enough serving for my partner who has a large appetite!

I visited today with a friend from Guildford. The service was very good and friendly. The menu interesting and varied and at a good price. The atmosphere was relaxed.

An excellent meal in really good surroundings. Started with the calamari whihc is a usual for me and it was as good as ever, followed by belly pork and creme caramel. Excellent the whole way through!

Not same as other cote restaurants... slightly disappointed with overall.

Been here loads of times and with the rare exception, each time has been really good. The food's beautifully cooked, and the waiting team are friendly and efficient. The 10% of times when it's been below par have still been OK, it's just you expect it to be ace each time. It's one of my favourite restaurants.

Valentine Special Menu was excellent, well-cooked and in right quantity (not too much as in some places). Only minor comment was that 1 pers met us originally and failed to pass on that we wanted the Spec Menu even though it was not compulsory as after 7pm. Thus, next waiters brought items without matching wine - all cleared up and no problem from there on.

Great waiter. One toilet in Ladies blocked with toilet paper and this was at 7 pm plus toilets bit cold! Food great. Overall good first experience

The set menu during the week is fantastic - great value for money! Every month it changes which encourages you to try out different items on the menu. Lovely atmosphere.

Excellent meal and service was very good. Certainly improved from the early days when service was slow. Would always recommend Cote for a great meal out.

Enjoyed my Birthday lunch and complimentary Kir Royale very much. The staff in Winchester are always very efficient and smiley, and we have never had a bad meal there. Long may they continue.

As usual good service, good food,relaxed atmosphere , friendly staff. The restaurant seem to have the balance between price and quality just right. Very good for those needing gluten free dining

As usual food and wine pairing was excellent and unique, thank you. Staff welcoming and patient. We particularly liked the wine pairings as they were wines we had not tried before.

Good staff , great food , lots of stairs to navigate to get to the loo , there should be one on each floor really

Good value for money ,fresh cooked food and attentive service in a nice atmosphere. The monthly menu offers a good choice. We also use the Cote in Guildford which is equally as good.

We both had a really lovely meal, all three courses were excellent and very reasonably priced. Have been there many times and have never been disappointed. Staff always very friendly.

Celebrating a birthday lunch. Always a great atmosphere. The hard working staff always make it enjoyable, nothing is too much trouble for them. Food presentation and value hard to beat.

The food was beautifully cooked and the service was extremely good. It is a little expensive but frankly you get what you pay for. We will be visiting again and I am recommending the restaurant to other friends.

An enjoyable breakfast with good friends. However we found your policy of automatically adding 12 1/2 % gratuity a bit rich, for a large party maybe but for a table of 4, really!

The food is always good at Côte and this was no exception. We had a special Valentine’s menu which had many old favourites on it and was accompanied by wine pairing. I am often disappointed by special event menus in restaurants as I find they are limited in variety and quality but expensive. This one was good and we particularly enjoyed my duck breast cooked pink and my wife’s raspberry creme brûlée. Service was fast and friendly; if anything too fast and we could have done with a little more time to make a leisurely meal. Not a cheap meal and they slip in a 12.5% gratuity at your “discretion”. I hope it went to the staff. Would certainly recommend an evening here. Special lunch menu probably better value.
