Another great meal and service at Cote. Our wedding anniversary meal was accompanied by free glasses of champagne! Our waiter was excellent, professional and very courteous. The food was fresh, interesting and tasty, what more could you ask???

Great ambiance, great food, great service, everything just perfect for our celebration, will definitely be returning for another dose of perfection, watch this space. Many thanks Cote Winchester.

Côre’s great asset is consistency. Wherever you visit one of its branches, you know you will get quality food and good service. Côte Winchester is no exception.

Lovely meal on a Sunday evening, excellent service and food great, always consistent here. Staff are attentive and friendly, prices reasonable and plenty of choice.

As always, good quality food freshly prepared and cooked (not fast food rubbish). The staff are lovely and eager to please. Well done Cotè! Just a shame that the pavement right outside the restaurant has been dug up by the Utilities. Desite this, it's business as usual.

It was fine...not as good as the other cote restaurants we've been to. It was our daughter's 21st birthday and when we've previously celebrated birthdays etc at the other cote restaurants - Farnham, London etc , all diners in our party received a celebration glass of Kir Royale....but this time it was just my daughter who's birthday it was ...which made her feel rather embarrassed!!!

Great food and service, very popular location in Winchester that never disappoints. The menu is varied, there is always a choice of classic dishes to choose from and the quality is very good, you can see regulars there who keeps coming back, which is a good sign.

Unfortunately although I was there on an offer of two meals for one, this was not reflected in the final bill - so had to go to check out to obtain a new bill - prsented with apologies. Food was up to Cote's usual standards.

We were in a great hurry because huge traffic jams had made us late and we were on our way to the theatre. The staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant.

Excellent food and lovely service and setting, we really enjoyed our visit. The French onion soup, creme caramel, salads and skinny chips were all delicious, classic dishes done well.

This is a very friendly but quite busy restaurant where my wife and I have visited a number of times and have never been disappointed. Just a small thing for today's lunch time meal, however, would be be to provide a little more vegetable garnishing to our dishes otherwise it was good as always

Friendly and fun service, good food served without rush. All that we expected at the start of an excellent evening. We will be back soon.

A very welcoming restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. The set menu on a Friday had a good selection and a nice and extensive choice of wines.

Delicious food, lovely staff but the noise of conversations in the upstairs room was very bad. Thankfully we were able to move to a quieter area and we then had a very pleasant evening.

One of our dishes was stone cold when it arrived (the other dish was a salad so not an issue). The management were apologetic and ordered a new one. When this arrived, it was hardly hot, but warm. We suspect they just warmed up the old one. This dish was deducted from the bill. But the experience was annoying, shouldn't have happened and tarnished what was otherwise an OK dining experience.

Consistently goo value for money. Now new menu choices. Very friendly staff and efficient. Close to Everman cinema so perfect venue pre or post cinema. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed the special offer of complementary starter and mixed drinks. Cod coujons were great as always.

11 for breakfast. All dealt with a very calm and professional manner by the staff. Food excellent with a great choice on the menu for everyone.

Our only criticism was how noisy it was - a consequence of being so popular, I suppose! Otherwise, the food and service were excellent, as always.

We go to Cote Winchester quite regular. We eat there before we go to the Theatre Royal and the quality of food is superb. We also say it is great value for money, and the staff make us feel so welcome. Well done Cote!

I usually really like this place and think the food is of a high standard but tonight had a few less good aspects to it. The chicken in my salad was so dry that I couldn't really swallow it.. The management was pleasant when I commented and it was deducted from the bill.. they also took off the price of a pudding as a goodwill gesture which was very much appreciated and shows that they did mind about it not being as it should have been. The other thing that was not the best was that even before we had finished our main course some of the staff came and sat at a table and were using their phone and a lot of clearing up was going on around us.. Yes we were the last table to still be there but it really wasn't very late and the noise of the cleaning of things behind the bar was terrifically loud! Our waiter was attentive and very polite but he disappeared before we left and there was no one to be seen anywhere in the whole restaurant as we got up to go. I like to say good bye to someone and thank them so this felt very peculiar.

Very good value, new menu was excellent. frequent user as this branch is very reliable, service a little slow today as lunch time was busy, but will certainly be using again.

Food met expectations, and service was timely and friendly. We had wanted a meal before an early concert, and we were able to leave in good time without rushing. We had enjoyed a convivial meal together.

Lovely atmosphere with good service and relaxed environment. Automatic 12 1/2 % tip is too much any where so reduced to 10%. No problem for them.

Food splendid; we ate from the two course menu as an early supper. Food was cooked and served beautifully. The staff are fabulous - well humoured and attentive without being obtrusive! They made us feel at home.

Excellent value 2 for 1 breakfast. Unfortunately my breakfast full English was a little cold and I had to send the very pasty looking sausage back to be cooked more.

My family and I went to Cote Winchester for breakfast this morning and was very pleased with both the standard of the food and the level of customer service provided. The restaurant was immaculate and the staff were happy; I look forward to returning for dinner!

The restaurant was very busy at 19:00 on a Wednesday but the service was still excellent as was the food. The free bottle of wine for signing up to Cote's newsletter was a real bonus.

Good friendly service but price for lunch gone up quite a bit and yet main course poor. Doesn't compete with other places for lunch in Winchester

Excellent atmosphere. Excellent food. Excellent service. Only problem is that sometimes the staff "noise" is a little intrusive - on a previous occasion the chatter around the till should have been stopped by the manager. But this is by no means enough reason not to keep using the restaurant. Thank you
