Same as it always is. Menu good and staff great.

Always good food served at Cote. Thoroughly recommend. Great atmosphere. Love it there.

We did have to move tables due to an incredibly loud table with a screaming child (one far too old to not know better) but the staff were really good about this and understood completely. Great food as always. Not keen on the compulsory 12.5% tip but that’s just me.

We had a long wait for our food and after half an hour were told our Chateaubriand takes half an hour to cook. Would have been good to know this earlier and we would have ordered starters while we waited. We were so hungry after spending the day moving daughter into uni. However it was dealt with well and the waitress fetched bread and olives which then arrived at exactly the same time as our food. We ate them anyway. All our food was delicious. Steaks cooked perfectly. Delicious deserts and good service. Atmosphere improved when lights were dimmed.

Very pleasant evening meal. Two of us chose the Prestige set menu, one items from the A La Carte. All food was simply, well presented and delicious. Particularly commend the calamari, Poulet Grille, and Creme Caramel. Very good value. The staff were excellent and prompt. Particularly commend a new waitress who was lovely.

Elliot was our waiter and he was very friendly and professional!

As we are very regular customers and have always had excellent service from your brilliant team which we are very sad to see have almost all transferred to Basinstoke, we are very hopeful that it will continue although we gather the new manager is still being trained??!!

We love Cote however when it’s busy it’s loud. Unless there are carpeted ares or rugs on wooden floors that is the way!

Great service, excellent quality of food. Wine was great with good selection. Good choice for children. Just would have wanted something green on the plate with children’s main course.

We had a family celebration for ten, and the evening was a great success. The service was superb, our main waitress a delight, she made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The food as usual was so good, that all ten plates went back clean, everything was enjoyed. My family love Cote, and we had a great time. Many thanks to the whole team there.

Excellent meal, Cote always delivers and gives good value for money.

Our second visit here and both have been extremely enjoyable. Most recently we were here on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was quiet at the rear section although this didn’t detract at all from our enjoyment. The food was very good indeed, perfectly cooked and well presented and the service was first class, friendly and prompt.

Food and Service were ok but not special. The bit that leaves a bad taste is the presumption of a 12.5% tip. It's automatically added with no yes/no option when you come to pay the bill. You'd have to ask for it to be removed. We would have tipped anyway but now left with the memory of the tipping policy rather than quality of the experience.

Enjoyed my meal at Côte Brasserie - Winchester. Ate early, specials are very good value. All of the staff were great. Recommend.

Great value for money / food always high quality and reliable

We always enjoy our Cote experiences, and today was no exception. Although one of the main courses was delayed, a goodwill credit was given without us mentioning anything. It’s a pity that the manager on duty today was not customer friendly.

Lovely food and staff, french onion soup was great, all the food was cooked really well and very reasonably priced.

We went to Côte in Winchester using a voucher that we received following a bad experience in the Salisbury restaurant. Winchester was perfect in every way. The male manager (I did not get his name) was brilliant from start to finish. The food was lovely, fresh, quick and the service wonderful.

Lovely meal. The sea trout was cooked perfectly and the staff were excellent. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his fillet steak too.

We are regulars at the Winchester Cote and eat there before we go the Theatre Royal. We have never been disappointed, the service quality of food are always superb, and are excellent value. We just say keep it up Cote!

As usual we had a very enjoyable lunch. The Cote de Boeuf was cooked to perfection.

Lacked atmosphere and was a bit too chilly! but service was delightful

Staff are friendly and polite and the menu had an excellent choice. We have visited many times and will certainly return. To give you honest feedback, we were disappointed with the starter which was supposed to be goat's cheese on ratatouille. There was a piece of toast with tiny cubes of salad vegetables with a minute amount of cheese. There wasn't even a mouthful of cheese so the description was definitely not replicated on the plate! Apart from that we had a lovely evening for my birthday and really appreciated the kir you gave us on arrival. We have always recommended you to our friends and will continue to do so.

Overall a very nice dinner. The sign of a quality establishment is how it deals with a problem and when there was an issue with one of the dishes it was dealt with, without any fuss and efficiently.

I found it hard to understand why, with tables available on the window side, we were seated over in a dark corner close to a table full of small children - the noise! We asked to move and that was no problem. The interior is overall rather joyless and without much personality. Our waiter was pleasant, and clearly working very hard. Food perfectly acceptable and portions were generous. It’s quite good value for money but the 12 1/2% service charge put on the bill at the end is hefty - if it all goes to the staff then I suppose that’s good but I know it’s a major factor that puts some people off eating at Cote. That, and the service charge, would not make it my choice for dining out, but overall the group I was dining with was satisfied with our experience today.

I celebrated a very special occasion with family at Côte in Winchester and cannot fault the experience at all. Fantastic food, excellent service and overall an occasion we wont forget! Very good value for money, for what felt like a much more expensive meal.

We had a 60th Birthday meal and everyone was great - they fed the little ones first and nothing was too much trouble

Great value for money. Perfect steak and frites and my husband really enjoyed the Breton chicken with dauphinois potatoes. To round off the meal, complimentary pampadelle drinks - lovely!

The starter was ok but the steak was over cook and the salad was a joke overall very disappointing

Very good meal and service. The starters and the Breton chicken was excellent. Given a complimentary sweet as it was my wife’s birthday. All round ......a very pleasant experience.
