Excellent service, ambience and delicious food! Had a really special evening out with friends and it was absolutely the right place to go to :-)

Very enjoyable family meal in pleasant surroundings...From to first point of contact until the arrival of the bill we received first class food and service !!!!

Good food and service would certainly visit again! Our daughter and her husband who were with us we're most impressed with food! Easy parking also especially after 6pm

The Winchester branch of Cotes has never failed to impress. Every visit, every time. Whenever I'm looking for a restaurant for my lunch meetings I always go here. Great food, great service.

We had a really wonderful experience at Cote in Winchester. Great food and very attentive staff. The location is excellent too. We have been to the Cheltenham Cote often and this is just as good.

Excellant food and wine, Service was below par for a 12.5% added gratuity. Had to ask twice for ketchup. Had to attract attention for second drink. Restaurant was busy and quite noisy. Other guests also had to repeat requests for service of napkins, drinks orders. Service below minimum expectations. Offset by excellent food...

The food was good and the service excellent. As it was a Friday night the restaurant was very busy and hence the noise level rather high making it difficult to have a conversation.

Noisy children sat next to us not being very well controlled by parents. Overwise OK although on previous experience food had been first class Fish Parmentier was not up to usual standard - guess this could have been because it was very busy Saturday previous experiences have been during week.

Really lovely food and a lot of choice on the menu. Great atmosphere, although quite noisy at times, but would definitely return. Staff were friendly and attentive also. Fabulous evening.

Well done Cote Winchester 10/10 Food was excellent as always good quality ingredients and cooked correctly Paulo are waitress was great fun and made the evening, I had a complimentary bottle of cote du Rhone what a find so much so we had another bottle All in all a fantastic evening Thank you Cote Winchester

I normally rate this as a 6 but yesterday the service wasn't quite as sharp. It was slow and the food wasn't quite as perfect. I'm being picky but have always been extremely full of praise. But will definitely come back.

Scallops, Sea Bass and Veal Escalope all cooked to perfection, and staff helpful and correct, as always .Nothing more to say, minimum 25 words an irritation

My friends and I (5 of us) had really good service today at Cote Brasserie Winchester, 20 April 2017. The food we all chose was very good and enjoyed by all.

Excellent evening with friendly staff and tasty and enjoyable food. Very good value for money and our friends who were from Kent will be visiting Cote in Tunbridge Wells!

The food and service was excellent. The staff are always very helpful. It is also very good value and there is an excellent choice of dishes.

My booking was cancelled this morning I rang to check why told we were double booked would it not have been more appropriate to ring me otherwise I just wouldn't have turned up Meal as usual was excellent

Smashing Easter lunch for four adults.Our server,Hope, was fun,extremely efficient and added to our enjoyment. Food was super with lots of choice. This was our second visit and we will back.

We were disappointed with the service that we received , our main course arrive just as they were taking our starter plates away . Food ok but wouldn't go back.

Very enjoyable lunch, good food and good service. One of our party had to leave early and the staff were very accommodating in getting the mains out quickly. Enjoyed the complimentary wine.

My wife and I are big fans of Cote Brasserie, having frequented both the Bath and the Cirencester sites. I'm afraid that the Winchester restaurant did not live up to our experiences in the other two. The food was OK, but not exceptional. The service was good, but difficult to judge as the restaurant was all but empty. This also affected the general ambience.

I love Cote and always have the cheap lunch menu. But for the first time ever I wasn't very keen on the menu. The food was ok but nothing special.

The food was great food and the service was even better. That is very Rare in the UK these days. The waiter forgot a side order and when we pointed this out they delivered it to as with no charge.

Very charming and polite service, well timed. Food was delicious with a good choice. Ambiance comfortable but special too. We will most certainly book to go again.

Very attentive staff and food was delivered promptly and to a good standard. Vegetarian breakfast was superb and food value. Relaxed atmosphere was perfect start to the day.

Our dessert choice - frozen blackberries with white melted chocolate was a very good idea but it should not include large pieces of fruit as these were frozen solid and impossible to eat. This spoilt the dessert.

Excellent meal and excellent service, the only downer was that a complimentary drink given since it was my wife's birthday was subsequently charged to the bill (plus the 12.5% service charge on it). Oops

We opted for the special lunchtime menu which is excellent value. My minute steak was cooked perfectly (I always have it well done, but it was still very tender and not at all dry). Nothing was too much trouble for the waiting staff. A lovely lunchtime treat!

Good food and good service. Restaurant was smart and ideal for a lunch meeting with clients. Will use it again. The 2 course meal for a set price menu was varied enough to suite everyone in our party of 6.

Service very average. Presentation and quality of food poor. Decor and location good. Compared to other Cote restaurants I've been to the one in Winchester was not up to standard.

We all had the early evening set menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. Good value deal and we will have it again but probably as a lunch option.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Lots of atmosphere even early in the evening. Cote is definitely our favourite restaurant at the moment. And the menu always had something new and interesting to try.

Welcome, as in all the Cote restaurants I have used, was warm and friendly Service was pleasant - food, as usual, was well cooked and well presented. Restaurant was not as busy as our usual one in Norwich, therefore the noise level was nowhere near as loud as we have grown used to. Overall an enjoyable dining experience.

A very warm welcome and excellent service with nice food, a touch of France. It was easy to book through internet site and was given a reminder, very well done.

Great evening and food. The staff were extremely good especially considering that they had real problems all day due to a fire in an adjoining building.

Tasty starter of smoked mackerel but bland main course of sea bass. Waitress was too persistent, constantly at the table interrupting our conversation! Ambiance good for a Friday evening.

Processed chain type food, there was nothing specifically wrong it just felt average, the service was average, with a surprising impression of dis interest from the staff.

I just would prefer the 12.5% tip was not added to the bill. When I asked for it to be removed, I was asked was I happy with the service, was everything OK? Yes it was. I left a cash tip of 10%!

The room we were seated has low ceiling ,we found it very noisy, which made it impossible to hear one and other speaking. Food and service very good though.

Really good value and interesting food. I went there with a small group of friends and we all agreed we would eat there the next time they came to Winchester.

Easy to book online. Our favourite place to eat in Winchester as the service is very good, food excellent and overall fantastic value especially when compared with other establishments.

Lovely atmosphere and service. Unfortunately some of the food was cold! Would still prefer to pay a tip independently and not have it added to the bill.

Excellent meal enjoyed by all and our party of seven were well looked after. Some of us had the 10 th anniversary menu with a glass of champagne included. Creme caramel best I've tasted. l

We always enjoy the experience of eating at Cote. The food is great and well priced, the service is friendly. I miss the crab mayonnaise starter from the menu. It was on the Cote 25 year special, but sadly no longer on the main menu!

As expected, a great lunch. It rained after our lunch so we sat in waiting out the rain. The lunch crowd had cleared and we realised it was a great place for quiet afternoon teas too!
